We are so grateful to New Direction Fertility Center for walking with us through one of the most…read moreemotional chapters of our lives. Our journey began with male factor infertility, and our first round of ICSI didn't work. We were devastated--but never felt alone. The team at New Direction supported us with kindness and empathy, never pressuring us into another round before we were ready. Dr. Derman took the time to refer my husband to a male fertility specialist, giving us space to explore options and come back when we felt ready. That level of care and respect meant everything to us. We eventually did two rounds of IUI and another round of ICSI--which was successful! I'm now 14 weeks pregnant, with our baby due in May 2026! From the ease of scheduling to the professionalism and warmth of every staff member, New Direction made a difficult journey feel hopeful and supported. Thank you for helping us grow our family!

Even…read morethough my treatment time with them was short, sadly I did not have the experience that I had hoped for. I was referred by my OB/GYN for help with better management of my PCOS symptoms and the hope to get to a place where I could conceive naturally, or with minimal help/treatment. My first consultation with Dr. Derman was okay. He was professional, and initially made me feel heard. I was given two options for helping my PCOS: 1) lose weight, possibly with a GLP1 from my PCP, to see if that helped with my PCOS and allowed me to conceive or 2) jump into ovulation induction medications to get pregnant ASAP. Ultimately I chose to go the GLP1 route through my PCP and put a hold on option 2. Dr. Derman prescribed me a birth control, as he wanted me to try to regulate my cycle and I needed to be on BC if I started taking a GLP1. I started having "breakthrough bleeding" on the pill, which I was expecting. However, the bleeding lasted for 75 days. While it wasn't heavy bleeding the entire time, it was enough to have to use my menstrual cup every day for those 75 days. I reached out to the clinic a few times during those 75 days to express concern and to ask "how long is too long?" Every time I got the same answer, to continue taking the pill and that the bleeding was to be expected; that there was no concern unless I was filling my menstrual cup within a couple of hours. I discussed this with my PCP, who helped me make the decision to change my birth control pill. I started a new pill, and the bleeding stopped within 10 days. It was clear that the birth control Dr. Derman put me on was not ideal for my body...but they didn't seem to care, even when I told them the constant bleeding was taking a physical and mental toll. I decided to no longer seek any care through New Direction. To me, it felt like my care was put on the back burner since I wasn't trying to actively get pregnant. It felt like I wasn't worth their time or effort, and it was very disheartening. Sadly, this ruined their reputation for me. If I couldn't count on them to listen to a concern about a birth control pill, it doesn't instill a lot of trust that they'll be the right providers for me should I need fertility treatment.

I have wasted thousands for mediocre service and little to no guidance or instruction during this stressful journey. I have been fear mongered by their doctor for having a known donor and not one purchased from them. I have been marked a no show for an appointment that I was signed in and waiting in the lobby for twenty minutes while the receptionists sat complaining about their work load. I have been poked and prodded by inexperienced medical assistants that can't find a vein. I have been a customer for over a year and a half and haven't had a good interaction yet. I have spent countless hours communicating with CIGNA because their billing department always finds a way to overcharge. I've sent questions regarding IVF and have been sent the IVF introduction that they send everyone because the person on the receiving end was too busy to care. (Stupid me for not knowing the process and procedure already. How dare I come to a specialist with questions.) I have been patient, hopeful, and understanding. We are all human and have off days. Maybe my expectations are too high when it comes to customer service, my body, my future, and where I spend my hard earned money. I'm truly ashamed of ARMS and everyone that represents them. "A family building families", mine already has dysfunction for free. I don't want theirs at a cost.

His plan was very extreme. It involved placing stents in my fallopians tubes and flushing out my uterus. I decided to go to my OBGYN to see what she thought. He had been recommended to me from my GBGYN, this was our first time talking to a fertility dr. Our conversation with him was all over the place, as requested by them we sent through endless medical history ahead of time. I explained everything detail of what was going on with me, he started off calling my case "boring" his words. I then re explained my issues he took that statement back quick and began to suggest every test possible. He was abrupt, rude and made us feel like just another hopeless case study. I left the call in tears in my husbands arms as he had basically said I could be going through early menopause at 30 and falling pregnant will be near impossible. Only minutes after the call ended we receive another call from there office for payment. I received another call days later to book the tests in that was then I said we would definitely not be proceeding with him. They seemed more about money then patient compassion. I would definitely not recommend this practice or doctor to any couple.

I'm not looking for advice on my plans, I'm looking for a clinic that operates like people are not cattle in line for the slaughter. Had a different nurse practitioner do my ultrasound for the 3 or 4 times I was there. They kept probing me about why I wasn't ready to begin the process. There is nothing consistent here. And everything is as immobile as an autistic engineer who has never been on the field. If you just need someone to tell you what to do and want to be treated like a cookie cutter human being this is the place.

Appointments are almost always on time. Dr. C is dedicated to, and goes the extra mile for his patients, even coming in on a weekend and holiday to just to work with my body's timing and then to address an emergency. When I experienced some strange symptoms another weekend, he took the time to reach out to and consult with another specialist, address my concerns and call in new prescriptions, all on his birthday. Dr. C's expertise and competence are also outstanding. I came to him with several rare preexisting conditions, poor egg quality and a high rate of aneuploidy after another doctor had recommended I try with donor eggs instead of my own. From my very first consultation, he was well informed on my conditions, asked new questions, and investigated things that had not previously been looked at. Once we started and had unsuccessful cycles, he came up with new strategies and ideas to overcome the issues I was facing. Even when I was ready to give up, he did not, and his confidence helped me overcome my fears and doubts to try again. When we finally got a euploid embryo, he did everything in his power to ensure I had a successful transfer, doing pre-implantation testing, adding a special protocol to my cycle, and supplement and lifestyle changes to boost the chances of success - and it worked. I cannot thank Dr. C enough for his dedication and steadfastness in making my dream come true, and his team for their support throughout my journey.
