I was walking out the front door and nursing staff coming out the side door going home for the night. The cleaning staff was arriving to clean offices in the hospital. I ended up taking 1/2 day vacation day in order to be paid for my time away from work. I am a patient person and I don't complain as I know babies come when they want to come, but to forget you have a patient in your lobby waiting who made an appointment 3 weeks before is not good at all.

If you ever have an emergency problem visit, the nurses do whatever they can to get you in ASAP whether it's the same day or the next. I know women can be hesitant about having male OBGYN but I have seen every doctor in this office and they are all are great. The new nurse practitioner, Susie, is also a real gem. She is as sweet as can be and really helped me understand about my who-ha's health. If you need a new OBGYN this is the place to go.

This horrendous experience is more in due to the administration (or lack thereof) The midwives were honestly the only part of this place that kept me from leaving. They are all kind and do genuinely seem to care about natural birth. However when it came time for my turn, I was blind sighted. I was at home laboring when I call them for help and I am immediately met with utter disgrace and disregard. A midwife I had never met and the patient care coordinator Patricia were constantly calling me and being extremely demeaning towards me all of a sudden. Now they are interrogating me on the phone saying that "I don't seem to be in labor" or "you're not in enough pain". I'm not sure how someone can make these claims over the phone but that goes to show. They continue to speak about a head medical director that is making these decisions, I've yet to know who this person is or how someone I've never met before can make decisions about my labor. After trying to beg them to let me birth there, and being turned away I had to improvise. I haven't even gotten to the worst part. After I was forced to give birth at a hospital since they had no intentions of helping me, I NEVER got a call from anyone there to ask if I was even alive. After I asked for my $2200 back, (which was meant to be for PP care) I never heard from them again. This now starts a 4 month ordeal where I am repeatedly calling and showing up at the center to try to get an answer about the money that was practically stolen from me since I obviously was not going back there. It wasn't until I called the authorities to the center that I got a call back. The receptionist told me that Patricia was not there and that she could not call her and did not know if she worked that day. Yet when the authorities came, Patricia immediately opened the door for them and called my husband to tell ask him why the cops were there. There wasn't even a check, my money was eventually sent back via Zelle so the delay is practically inexcusable. I beg you to please do a home birth and get this business closed. It's places like this that put a bad name to birth centers.

As with the first time, my pre-natal care and delivery was smooth. I recommend him to everyone I know and then some. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his patients. There is no fluff with him; he gives it to you straight and I appreciate that so much. I don't know how he does it with the amount of babies he deliver daily to still have the time to see patients in his office AND make his rounds at the hospital for admitted patients. Did I mention that while they prepping me for my c-section, he had time to go deliver a baby. The man is literally superman!
