I went in to get a full set of acrylic. I couldn't find pricing anywhere online, so called and they…read moresaid $62. When I went to check out, the price was magically $69. They said that shape is an extra $5, which would be fine if that was communicated before the service or posted somewhere or even told to me when they asked me what shape I want. The other $2 was a credit card fee. I was paying with a debit card. It's illegal to charge a credit card fee when the customer is not paying with a credit card. It's okay to apply a cash discount, but not an upcharge for not paying with cash since I wasn't paying with credit card. Not to mention, I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time. The nails are actually cute and look good. However, for the most basic, simple, short, solid color nail, the pricing and service is ridiculous.

Talking amongst my coworkers, this occurrence has occurred to them as well. Unfortunate to go into a salon wanting something, basically feeling like if you don't do the builder gel for more money, then why are you even here? I went in October 2025, and received builder gel for an acrylic fill. The language barrier was extremely difficult to communicate with my tech. She didn't know what I was saying at all and just said "yes." I returned again last month for another try just to have the same occurrence of being offered only builder gel by a different tech. I unfortunately won't be back

I never want to go into a situation with un realistic expectations but what I got was farrrrr from…read morewhat I expected. I showed the stylist the 3 inspo pictures of color, highlight placement, and style. I was very clear that I wanted my hair to remain more brown then red like the images we went over in depth about how I wanted the highlights placed and I was honest about the last time I previously died my hair and we spoke about more so what the color would look like on my dark hair. I never said I wanted my entire head lightened and red toner slapped on top. She places the color and I notice most of my head is foiled but I chose to trust the stylist and her process and wait for the end result. As she is shampooing my hair she seems stumped on how to tone it. She goes over it with another stylist and shows my inspo photo she places the toner washes it out we dry a spot and I see a THICK very RED patch, she lifts the hair up and asks too red? (It was bright red) I said uhhh yes way too red she says she knows what to do she'll place another toner over it and it will be fine. She tones it again blow dries turns me around and I see my hair. Vastly different from the inspiration photos. From the highlight placement, the COLOR especially everything about it was FAR from what I asked for. I honestly and kindly told her I'm so sorry but I do not like it. I told her it did not resemble what I wanted. She offered to fix it and I said I know you have clients waiting I can come another day whatever works for you. I am a new mom with a 3 month old and getting any time to get out for hours is already hard enough to arrange. She said she could do the following morning on her day off. I told her I felt awful it was her day off and if we could do another time. She said she was very booked and did not mind I said okay working with her schedule. I apologized several times for not liking it and I thought there would be some sort of apology of acknowledgment that my result indeed did not reflect what I wanted but I never got that. I came in the next morning after staring at my hair all night I tried to see what she saw but it just wasn't anywhere close to what I wanted but I was grateful she was willing to correct it. I went in and sat down and she said the ends looked like how I wanted and she would fix the top but I just knew that we were not seeing the same vision. I asked for just an all over dark brown color and she seemed upset but honestly I didn't want to risk hating my hair again and I don't have the time to go back AGAIN I knew the easiest thing was to slap on an all over color and call it a day. She kept saying it looked good and like the photos it showed me and I didn't want to say no it looks awful I said it looked fine but not anything like I wanted. I asked for a dark brown all over she agreed and said Okay I will even though the ends of your hair looks just like the photos you showed me . (It certainly did not) I've never experienced someone who couldn't take accountability for a mistake like That and tried to gaslight me into thinking it looked like how I wanted. I'm grateful that she took the time to fix it but her demeanor and vibe was definitely off and seemed peeved that I asked her to fix the mistake. She did not charge me to put the all over color on which I agree was the right thing to do but I did think at some point she would apologize for the hassle and for not being able to give me what I wanted. Even in the end I had to settle for coloring over it because the tones and placement were way off and my hair already felt damaged after the all over Highlight. I hope that this salon takes the steps to further educate themselves on color theory and hopefully avoid this from happening to future clients.

Place is reasonably priced and has some good people. Will def go back again…read more The hair stylist i went to actually listen to what i wanted done with my hair, and it turned out perfectly. Brazilian waxes are never fun but there it is awesome, when you are done the put Aloe on you and it feels amazing. They also give you free samples. I love this place and would go no where else!

I called up and was told they could take all 4 of us if I could get there at 8 (an hour before close) we ended up getting there at 815 and they had already taken another customer as they thought we must have decided not to come. They did not turn us away, and they even stayed late to do one pedicure and 3 manicures. They did a great job and we were so grateful for the great customer service!j

It could still use updating among its fixtures, but the staff is nice and fairly polite. I was greeted upon walking to the entrance, and told my appt would be just a few minutes late. Indeed, it was, but on.y by maybe two minutes. No big deal. Upon seating, the gentleman doing the manicure, Andy, was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Great manicure, my only complaint is that he did not remove the existing clear coat I had on my natural nails, therefore the new clear coat is STILL there now under the new polish...showing its imperfections :/ He pushed my cuticles back, nipped them, shaped my nails, great hand massage, and sweet demeanor. I didn't feel like was being rushed in and out the way I did at Da-Vi Nails (see that review). I may come back, but I would like to tryout different places in the area. Being used to the nail salons in larger cities, this town still lacks what I feel I am missing. Oh yes, simply manicure is $17. Another trend I am noticin gis that there is NO menu of services posted anywhere in most of these nail salons. Also, an annoying price hike has occurred with businesses trying to take advantage of the money being made here locally by the oil industry. Shop owners, please remember we are not all oil.

The moment you walk in the door you're greeted warmly and Vicky is hilariously fun! She made my first appointment fun and easy and it wasn't awkward at all! She was way to just chat with and told me what she was doing throughout so I learned and knew the process-made my second appointment go even faster! She pays great attention to detail and I appreciate the smaller hairs she tweezed when the wax missed a couple. I never go home and have to pick or find other rogue hairs-Vicky (and in sure the rest of the staff) are great! Worth the visit if you're looking to get any wax service in Minot! *side note for other newbies: I knew it would take a few visits to get my leg hairs on a regular cycle for waxing-if you're planning a trip don't forget this! Start a few MONTHS before any planned trips and then it gets to be less and less hair each visit!

While doing so, she was very nice, but when i got home and checked, she left wax in my hair and still missed hairs in my nose and a little on my brows. I understand maybe not all hairs will be pulled but she didn't do any clean up or check to make sure she got all the hairs or that she cleaned off excess wax. Was very annoyed that i had to pick wax off my neck and back of my head hair. I would like to go again but not with Vicky. I personally believe she only has this job due to her family in law owning it. I don't want or trust someone to wax me if they barely care for the work they are doing. I asked if this was something she loved doing and she then explained she only worked there because her old job sucked. Nothing personal with her but again i will not choose her again even if shes the only available one working. She also was supposed to wax, trim and shape my brows, all she did was wax the bottom, middle and top but she did not use any scissors to trim or shape my brows, super upset when that one wax service cost 21 dollars when other places cost $12-15 for just the brow wax. Other than Vicky's waxing skills, atmosphere was really nice and clean, i loved their hard wax, didn't hurt at all, really awesome formula. There was another lady who waxed my friend and did a great job! Not sure of her name but she had very very short hair that was blonde, i will need to find it out and ask for her next time!
