I had by far the worst experience at this salon and will never be returning. I specifically asked beforehand if they had the proper products to safely remove eyelash extensions, and they reassured me that they did. However, when I came back, they used water and literally pulled the lashes off, taking my natural lashes with them. It was extremely painful and completely unprofessional. I asked for someone else, and another employee (Niki) took over--but unfortunately, the experience only got worse. She handled it the exact same way and then told me to go into the bathroom and use water to remove the rest myself. I have never experienced anything like that before. On top of that, the salon appears very unsanitary. If you pay attention, you can see that they reuse tools without properly sanitizing them. Items used on clients' feet are rinsed in the same water that was just used and then placed back on the cart for the next person. That is extremely concerning and unacceptable. This was a painful, unhygienic, and completely unprofessional experience. If you care about your natural lashes--or your health--I strongly recommend going somewhere else. read more

My grandmother I arrived at 11:00am to get a pedicure. We waited over 2 hours to get served. While we were waiting they walked around us, even soaked feet of a customer who wasnt a person of color ahead of us AND served them water. They are rude and understaffed because they also forgot to paint one of my toes because they were falling over themselves serving other people of a certain race. We didn't get done getting our pedicures until 3pm. Its almost like they intend to offend people of color to control the types of customers they serve, but it's sad to want our money but think you can treat us any type of way as you get it. We love it here. Myself, mom, sister, & our friend all come here for our nails and pedicures. We have never had one problem and everyone is so kind. They are busy- as any good business should be. If you come during a busy time be prepared to wait or make an appointment to come back later. :) read more

I love this place! We always come here and there is no wait and they are always super nice. They always make pretty designs on my nails and work very fast. Usually we are in and out in 20 mins. So I loved this place so much even after the first visit of having a bad experience that I decided to continue going,and I even recommend my Mom and sister . Well yesterday when I arrived I asked for Nikki because I didn't see Tammy. I was told she had two people. She's working on one and one had just walked up to her for service. I asked if Tammy was in and she was in the back grabbing bite to eat. I was told to sit at Tammy's station. Well no one said she was in the middle of pedicures and a manicure. No problem patiently waited. When Tammy did get to us I let my mom go first. I asked if one tech who nails looked nice could do my fill in and I was told she had one person waiting and that now Nikki Could do my nails. Once Nikki was done with person she had when I walked in she then told me to sit at her station. I noticed she was finishing the young lady nails who approached her as I was asking for her. No problem again waiting patiently scrolling social media and Maybe 35-40 minutes go by and I'm Like okay I've been sitting here a while where is she?!?!? I turn around and she's helping a THIRD person!!! This third person walked in after us and asked if they were still taking people so I definitely know she was not there first. I instantly got irritated being that it's now 8 p.m., they close at 7 and I got there around 5:55 and still no service. I asked Tammy if she could just take care of me again and she's like "Nikki will do it for you". Well Nikki is in the back now doing the THIRD lady's lashes. So again I'm irritated and just made up my mind my money was not needed, or appreciated. My time didn't matter. The older man I didn't want coming my nails because he can't shape stiletto nails and he before asked for help to shape them and when no one came over he just went across each nail maybe twice with the file. I didn't complain I just knew I couldn't go to him anymore. Nikki finally was ready for me but my mom was done at this point two hours later. I said no thank you and she offered for me to come back tomorrow which I declined and said no thank you. Tammy offered for me to come back in the morning and she would give me a discount which I declined it's not about free stuff or discounts it's about service. My mom loved her nails but unfortunately she'll continue to go to her regular shop because of this experience. read more

I had my finger nails painted with SNS. My nails looked great. The polish stayed on at least 4 weeks and still doesn't look bad.

I went in for a gel manicure and although they looked nice, they began cracking that day. I went in the next day to ask for my money back and they said they would redo them, which I agreed to. They did not redo them, they only put a couple more coats of nail polish on, which is why I am leaving this review. I do not recommend going here. read more

I have been here since 2 it was supposed to be a 30 min wait. I waited for a hour and a half. They have no since of urgency and have completed other ppl nails and toes before mines. It's now almost 6 and no one has returned to help me. (I had plans at 4) In addition, when I first got here there was a lady who was highly upset with their service. I have been here once years ago and I loved it. However, my husband brought me here to surprise me and get my nails done before Valentine's Day, I signed in at 6:25. They let me know it was a 30-40 minute wait, which was long, but I understood. We went and done a few things and came back about 20 minutes later, I sat and waited for them to call me. Saw at least 3 other ladies that had came in after me, get called to get their nails done. I kept waiting.. after about an hour my husband came in from waiting in the truck with our son, he asked them how much longer the wait was and a man told him "not long" & that's all he would say. I waited another 20 minutes (total 1 hour & 20 min. Waiting) and I finally left. Everyone just watched me leave and refused to try to get me seated. I will NEVER go back here. They have no care for their customers, and will not seat you in the order you walked in!! Not to mention they had 2 out of their 7-8 chairs filled with trash so no one could sit down. My husband, my son, and I had to stand in the doorway to wait to mot even get serviced! They finally moved the trash after about an hour of being there. read more

I went into the salon to have my eyebrows waxed. It was done and eyebrow makeup had been put on my eyebrows. They looked fine. UNTIL that night when I washed off my makeup and over half of my left eyebrow had been completely removed. Not only did they make a horrendous error, they covered it up. Totally incapable of doing the work advertised and immoral in their attempt to cover it up. STAY AWAY! read more

Love this place they do an amazing job with fast service and good prices. Usually it takes 3 hours at other salons for toes and nail and afterwords there are still mistakes. I got a pedicure, ambray nails and eye brows done in less than 2 hours and they turned out great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

I went somewhere else and got a pedi and they messed my nails up and didn't get all the callus off but I went in and they fixed them for me. Very clean and friendly. read more

I just moved to Locust Grove back in the middle of January, and one of my mom's main concerns was where to get her nails done. We tried Modern Nails & Day Spa one night. It was about half an hour till closing, so we tried to get in and get out. The workers seemed a bit annoyed, but nevertheless, they did good pedicures. The manager, Nikki, did my mother's nail, and they were AMAZING. I also went back another day to get a manicure, and even though it was just a simple manicure, my nails looked clean and pretty. These people are very nice and will do whatever you ask them to. This has been our go to place since we have been here. read more
