Very happy with their service and their work and my son has received two tattoos from them very please

Rey did a great job in making my concept into reality. My tattoo came out just like the images I gave him. I'd also like to give a shout out to the rest of the staff for making me feel welcome and at home with first tattoo. I love it and get lots of compliments. GQ read more

A couple of years ago I was looking for a tattoo and piercing place and found Modern Moose in New Port Richey on 54. The artist are talented and caring. They can do anything you want. On my recent septum piercing I met David, new to MM. He was excellent. He really knew all ab out piercing and the correct way to do it. He takes his time to evaluate the area. He was gentle and very friendly. My husband and I have been very happy over the years with all the work there. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tattoo or a piercing. Tell them I sent you. Also their prices are very fair. read more

I took my 17 year old here to get her 2nd hole in her ear and her septum pierced. Steve was wonderful with her! He explained everything in detail, went over the jewelry choices and gave his opinions based on her small features. He was gentle and did a wonderful job! All the employees in the shop were so kind! I will definitely return here to get my next tattoo! read more

This shop was extremely clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Steve did the piercing and he was professional, he explained the process from start to finish. When we called to book the appointment they were transparent and communicative. I would definitely recommend! read more

Yay piercing time! Beau was absolutely awesome, and taking care of me. I am completely new to the New Port Richey area of Florida, and was very wary to find a good piercing place, but I was found right at home. I felt like he listened to me and helped me find all the jewelry that would look good And took his time and answered all my question They were very accommodating and patient, very sterile and an overall a great experience. I highly recommend. read more

My artist was extremely talented. I got a small locket tattoo, I provided references photos of my idea and he created something even better in just minutes. He ensured the drawing was exactly how I wanted it before making my stencil and he even helped me find the perfect placement. I felt very comfortable here. The staff is very welcoming and easy to talk to. The studio is very clean and has a great vibe. read more

Can't say enough good things about my first tattoo experience. From the moment I waited to walk in the door for my consult til the actual day of my tattoo appointment. Customer service is at the highest level and everyone that I've met who works here is the nicest they can be. My consult was with Megan and I explained to her what I was looking to have done. You just know at that moment when you get the feeling that this is the right fit and I felt very comfortable. Placed my deposit and made my appointment for my first tattoo. Day finally came yesterday and my anxiety level was running a little high but once Megan got started I was at ease. I couldn't be happier with the end result and have gotten nothing but outstanding compliments from family and friends. It looks so bad ass!! Thank you Megan for making this a reality and I will definitely be back for more!! read more

Yesterday I came in to get pierced with Ben. It was very clean shop and everyone was very friendly. They told all the jewlery options and up charges that came with it and I did some paperwork. After I paid I got an email with after care information and their contact info. When he took me back he showed me everything he was going to use, how he uses them, and the indicators to show the equipment was properly sterilized. As he was piercing me he told me what he was doing and the pain/discomfort I might feel. Afterwards he told me all the aftercare information and took pictures. I would also like to mention I messaged him before hand about it and he responded quickly and professionally. I am definitely coming back! read more

Bri - One of the tattoo artists that works at the studio has done wonderful work on my body. I told her exactly what i wanted - and it came out exactly how I wanted it to. I recommend anyone to go to Bri at modern moose tattoos for watercolor tattoos or anything of the sort. She does amazing portraits as well. She is very lightheaded, so the tattoos are less painful than they normally would be. I'll upload a picture of the rose she did on my hand! Very clean and sanitary studio! read more

I was really looking forward to writing an amazing review about this place. I had been in this shop three times before and couldn't get in thankfully they told me to come on down. I wasted 45 minutes in that store designing a tattoo with some young kid "Reggi" that had no interest in making any money or doing what he's paid to do. He did not want to do it because he didn't like the way I looked or something he was very judgmental, and he profiled me, I simply wanted to get a knife tattooed on the side of my face and he wouldn't do it. Everything i said he had a smirk and piss poor attitude. I have never met a tattoo artist that tried to talk someone out of a tattoo that was for therapeutic purposes I mean, isn't that why we get tattoos for therapy? I mean I had been talking to my psychologist about it for three weeks and he didn't see any problem with it. WTF stupid moose. This shop is too judgmental for my taste. Im never going there and don't go there either. He even gave me a price 2 hundo!!!!! Lol ppft. read more

Went to Ben for my Septum piercing best experience EVER !!! Virtually pain free, very clean environment and professional staff. Ben was patient, professional and most importantly very thorough. He went over each item being used, showing each certificate of sanitization on the closed packaging. He explained the entire process before beginning and gave equal attention to follow up care. The actual procedure was so quick and nearly pain free. He was available with the same courteous willingness to help answer questions in the weeks to come. Additionally offering to change out my jewelry once healed. I would certainly recommend him as we will be returning for my sons first lobe piercing . read more

I went to this location 3 times an the more heavy set guy that's a piercer with the glasses did my nose a says both times it was tightened but in all reality it wasn't. I came back up the same week an now this week it jus comes out. My girlfriend has had the same piercing in for 4 years no reason why it jus falls out from touching it or blowing ur nose. I didn't have a problem the first time because I said maybe he made a mistake. But when I came back he said it won't come off at all unless you have tools, even though he did not tighten it. Honestly just felt it was unprofessional if you couldn't do it then jus say that , don't take my 40-50$ everytime read more

there's a reason everyone in the area swears by this place. all i got was a simple nose piercing done by Ben but i had a great experience. he explained the procedure very well and made me feel comfortable. he was also cracking jokes. over all everything there felt nice. read more

LOVE this place! First of all, it's literally soooo clean when you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and professional. All of the artists are so warm and welcoming, you will never feel uncomfortable here! Secondly, my artist was Ashley Brewer and she is absolutely AMAZING! She's my go-to person for everything now. They do incredible work here, they're extremely thorough, and they never fall short of your expectations! I literally won't go anywhere else!!!! Thank you Ashley and the rest of the team at Modern Moose!!!! read more

This place is really the best. Classiest tattoo parlor around. Their work is fantastic and I even had some nipple tattoo work done after a double mastectomy at a pretty young age. The work Steve did is unbelievable. Very realistic. He gets very busy and books far ahead but well worth it. I'm really happy and trust MM with anything. I've also had my nose pierced by Ben, twice, because it closed up when I had to remove it for surgery. He's gentle, realistic, and clean. I wouldn't send anyone anywhere else for either tattoo or piercing. I'm sure if Steve and Ben are this high quality, their MM colleagues are fantastic, too. read more

Got my ears pierced by Ben today. I wanted to get them done by a professional piercer this time, as they never healed right after an initial piercing 15 years ago and had a lot of scar tissue. The place is super clean and nice, and he showed me every instrument in its sealed sterile packet and explained what each item was. Ben's obviously a pro - he took his time marking my ears to make sure the piercings would be even, but once he got started the whole process was remarkably quick and practically painless. It's easy to see why they're so busy. Ashley at the front desk is adorable and friendly too. I don't have plans to pierce anything else at the moment, but if I did, this is where I'd go. read more
