After receiving several recommendations from friends for where to get my daughter's nose pierced, I decided to choose Studio 54. This was a big decision to make for me because it is my daughter and also because she wanted it to be a special event for both of us. (I originally was going to have it done with her, but I didn't want to take the 8 week hiatus from swimming for the aftercare. Ok ok, truth be told, I wanted her to get it done first to assess the pain factor.) Anyways, I talk too much....I called and pestered them several times with questions, even after thoroughly reading their website several times. They were friendly and informative every time. The studio is clean. They require a consent form for those under 18 to be signed in front of a notary. However, certain days, they do have one on staff; just call ahead. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Rich was very thorough at explaining everything and even advised me where to stand to get the best view. It was quick and easy. And according to her, minimal pain. So maybe, just maybe, I'll be back to get mine pierced. read more

I met with Robert Torres and showed him a pic of the first tattoo I wanted. We discussed location & size & he confirmed the size I wanted allowed for the small detail areas not to bleed/smudge. An appointment was made 2 weeks later with estimated time to complete was 3-4 hours. It took a little over 2.5 hours & I love it. Pic attached was taken right after, but I had no problems with healing & now we are 14 days out. If you're looking for a tattoo, look Robert up. From a pain perspective, it's annoying but there's consistant lifting and not one, long continuous draw. Enjoy! read more

Rich Bonet opened this Lutz shop 7 yrs ago. Six months later, tattoo artist Will Anders joined him. Currently, Studio 54 has three full-time tattoo artists. Will works part-time on the days the shop is officially closed. And owner Rich handles the piercings. Rich is currently in training-- soon LASER REMOVAL will be a service offered here. The shop is officially open Noon - 8 PM Tuesday thru Saturday. Will (one of two artists recommended for my needs) brought back to life a tattoo created elsewhere almost a year to the day six years ago. Originally, the tattoo was not done well, & I exacerbated the poor workmanship by slathering it in moisturizer multiple times over many days immediately afterward & by unknowingly exposing it to direct sunlight. After securing an appointment for today's work via the shop's webpage, Will contacted me via text-- even on his off days/nights. He sent me his planned rendering of the design improvements. He then contacted me prior to the day of my appointment & responded to my inquisitive texts. (Even though I got my first & only tattoo six years ago, I was still apprehensive about THE needle:) He texted me one additional time-- two days before we were to meet. Due to state mandates, I was the only patron in the shop at the time of my appointment; for virus precautions, the outside door was kept locked. Will & I both wore masks; the shop provides one. He first sprayed down my phone, my driver's license, my debit card, my stress ball, & my hands-- you could eat off me, I was so clean. Lol. I signed a standard release form that inquired about my allergies & certain medical conditions. The room used for the actual tattooing was clean, aestetically pleasing, & it was very comfortable. It housed a tattooing bed. (I was in a chair @ the previous location.) There was also a TV-- see pic. Will worked steadily & well. He & his cool hair kept me entertained w/ talk on many different topics. I learned that @ age 15 (& to his mother's slight chagrin), he gave himself his first tattoo (Popeye), & soon after he battled (& beat) cancer. He's a most colorful man-- literally & figuratively. I learned that I am not a "bleeder" (yea), & I also learned how to properly care for my tattoo once I would exit the building. That would be reinforced w/ the goodie bag that was to accompany me home-- see pic. Once my tattoo was covered & payment rendered, I left...& left quite pleased w/ the vast improvements to my 2014 tattoo. Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS here! I even paid $25 less than what I had been quoted because the work was created quicker than anticipated. Nice! From start to finish (a two week period), I received TOP NOTCH service. I am so happy I did a lot of research this time around and would highly recommend studio 54! Alex was the artist who created my much loved tattoos. I wanted a studio/artist who provided small, detailed clean lines. The owner of Studio 54 was very helpful in booking me with Alex after bringing in my design ideas and describing what I was wanting. Alex is extremely professional (all employees and artists I encountered here fit this deacription) and his work was far beyond what I could have imagined after bringing in my ideas! The entire team at Studio 54 were just amazing but Ramon really made my entire experience! I went to get my first tattoo and had an idea I had wanted for years but was too nervous to get. Ramon helped me pick the perfect font and sized it for me explaining every step of the way why he was sizing things like he was for the longevity of the tattoo and the font. I went in for a belly button piercing and had Lynne do it for me. She was so kind and gentle but after getting the piercing, letting it heal a little bit, and educating myself some more on it I realized there were some things wrong. She pierced it slightly crooked so the bottom ball going further back and the jewelry I had was too small so there is now a dent above my belly button where the piercing is. I even went in to the shop about a month after I got the piercing because I noticed it didn't look right, they told me it was just the healing process and it'll look totally normal once it's fully healed. It is fully healed and I still have a dent/hole where the piercing is. I feel like the piercers should learn more about anatomy and piercings but on the bright side they were all very kind. read more

I have been coming here for the past three years but after today I will never come back. The piercer, Lynn has never been super friendly but it never created an issue until today. I had a tragus piercing done which now has a bump on it. I went into the shop to ask for advice on what to do since the piercing did not heal right. Lynn was rude and unhelpful. She acted like she barely wanted to talk to me even though I had gotten the piercing done by her and now needed help with it. Everyone else in the shop has been so kind, they just need a new piercer. I wouldn't suggest going unless you want to feel like bother. And if you ever have a problem with your piercing they won't help you. read more

I would not recommend this place. The piercer was extremely rude and had an attitude of truly not wanting to be at work. The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful with the selection of jewelry however it all went south from the moment the rude piercer called my name. So disappointed in the service. I went the other day without an appointment to get an industrial bar piercing and the people there and the precautions they take are amazing! They're super friendly and make you sanitize your hands, phone, and keys as soon as you walk in so to keep a clean waiting room environment. Everyone was wearing face masks. My friends and I went to Studio 54 to get nose piercings and a tattoo touch up. One of my friends is deaf and has a cochlear implant. She explained her disability and requested one of us come back with her to make sure there is clear communication. There was a man that denied this accommodation with no reasoning. Later, he told one of us it is a policy due to Covid. However, there are no other Covid regulations within the shop. He then stated if she couldn't hear clearly when in the piercing area then she would be able to have one of us with her. If it were shop policy, he would not have offered this as an option. This leads me to believe this was an act of discrimination. We plan to report this to the FL Dept of Health. read more

Don't go anywhere else!! Called everywhere that was local and they by far exceeded my expectations. First time being here and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner Rich. Checking in we sanitized our hands as well as our phones then were to fill out a waiver that only took about 2 seconds. The artists here might be good but you'll never find out unless you want to go through the owner/boss' (Will I think) degrading critique of your idea or outright refusal to work with you at all. He micro manages the artists who have absolutely no say in the tattoo THEY'RE about to do! We spent an entire hour with Zachary, who had a suggestion, drew it out on my bf's arm. got my industrial done here and i am SO glad i did. the piercer at the shop was great and the aftercare product she gave me is great. when i got my cartilage done at another place they had me use saline which was fine but did nothing to help with swelling and pain in the first month. the soap she gave literally helps the swelling so much. read more
