I am very pleased with my ear piercing. I went on Friday the 13th and the wait wasn't very long the service was outstanding.

They're great! I've been a return customer and always greeted with a warm welcome & fabulous service.

I walked in with my mom and sister to get matching tattoos and we were so happy with how it turned out! It's one of the only places in the area that is open on Sundays which we were thankful for. All of the employees were so friendly and helpful! There was a wait, so we were able to walk around the mall until they texted us when it was our turn. We showed Jay photos of what we wanted and additions we wanted to make and he was able to quickly draw it up and make changes as needed. It was my moms first tattoo so she was very nervous, but he was so friendly and easy going that she was comfortable. I will NEVER come back to this location after my experience today. Everything with the visit was fine. The piercer was great. My problem is what happened AFTER we left. I took my daughter to get her nose pierced, all was well until we were on the way home. My daughter (not me) gets a phone call from the lady saying you need to come back, you left without paying (in a very nasty way). My daughter said, we did pay and it's on my card. The woman comes back and says I see it. How about you check your system BEFORE calling and excusing a 16 year old of stealing. And with no apology of accusing. So unprofessional, rude and NASTY! My daughter was in tears after this phone call. How DARE you make such an accusation before even checking your own system. I'm disgusted. read more

My review is not on quality, but on customer service. I had a tattoo done here years ago and for my daughter's 18th, I thought this would be a great place to go. I called Friday to see if they had availability Saturday and if I could make an appointment. I was told they do not make appointments, but you can walk in Saturday. We arrived Saturday morning at 10:30am (they open at 10am) and I was told they were all booked up. I questioned how that was possible since they don't take appointments? The gentleman at the front desk brushed my question aside and said "our artist are all busy." I said okay but is there anything at all available today? And he said "well I'm all booked up." Again, I asked how can you be all booked up if you don't take appointments? He said "we don't take appointments for piercings" I had asked about a tattoo, not piercing. It was apparent that nobody there wanted our business. One of the guys finally said he could fit us in at 3pm. We left and headed to St Pete where we had better luck. Your business really missed out, as it was larger tattoo and you could have made some $$. I'm glad we did not give you business and I will not be back. read more

I usually always go to the same guy for my tattoos but he is far away. i looked up the work of the guys at citrus park mall and went. luckily i got jesse. he was very nice and when i presented my tattoo idea, he also gave some ideas and really helped perfect my idea. he also gave extra detail to it and incorporated color which i wouldnt have ever done on my own and im so glad he suggested it. it was only 160! and he did amazing. read more

I popped in on a Friday for a small shop minimum tattoo. While following all Covid 19 procedures (temperature checks, constant cleaning, masks) I was greeted by a wonderful lady who was very accomodating to my demands. I have about 15 heavy tattoos already, but arrived with none of them showing. She respected me and had me fill out all the necessary paperwork. I was given an artist, Kenny. He was a huge scary tattooed guy and I was instantly soo excited. He was so nice. Very clean and careful. Listened to my banter and small talk (since I can be really annoying) He answered all my questions and I ended up having a really good experience there. I asked about a piercing as well and plan on going back. Just wanted to drop a review because sometimes it's really hard to be a random walk in customer - and I was pleasantly surprised! read more

I have been to this location twice and both times the lady at the front desk was very rude. I had mainly heard only good things about this place so decided to ignore the bad reviews and try it for myself. But now after going to this location TWICE I will not ever be coming back and do not recommend as clearly the right way of speaking to people is not in the way she speaks. I got a piercing here today by Corey Godoy. He did a great job. Most tattooers are pretty standoffish and not very personable unless they are performing a service on you. apparently even though i already have my piercing (they are definitely on my body) and have been a customer with atomic in the past, i need to be the "same age to buy alcohol" and have a physical id present to get a cheap piece of metal even though i am a legal adult? on top of that, your employees just blatantly have wrong information about when to downsize your piercing that can easily be refuted with a google search from a reputable source. either focus on piercing or tattoos and make sure that they at least have correct information. read more

I took my daughter here to get her n ose pierced and it was a great experience. The place was clean, a bit dark, but still clean. Aaron, the front desk guy, was very nice and helpful. The wait was not long and the guy who did my daughter's piercing was cool. He told her everything he was going to do before he did it. He used gloves and I was able to see him open new needles and cleaning utensils. I give this place 3 stars because they are a bit pricey. For a nose piercing, it cost me $56. The guy who did the piercing gave me a bit of an attitude because I went back with my daughter, when I had already gotten it confirmed with Aaron. And when he went to get the other girls, he asked if the person with her was coming back with her, and she said yes, so I am not sure what that was about. I guess communication can get lost in every business, but not where I pay my money. read more

ART is the best! I came in on a whim to get my right nostril pierced and he was wonderful! He conversates with you like you have known him forever which eases some nerves. I appreciated that he opened up everything in front of me so I could see everything was clean. And everything after that was quick, easy, and painless! I had to return because my hole closed up on account of me not switching my jewlery correctly. The guy at the front desk was awesome! I had about an hour wait this time around and he was nothing short of entertaining and super accommodating. My second go around with the piercing was just as good as the first! Went to go to this location to get my septum pierced, the receptionist said it would be a 25-30 minute wait so she suggested in the meantime that I can take a lap around the mall. I did just that, came back in exactly 30 minutes on the dot, just for her to turn around and say the piercer isn't taking any more people today and only has enough supplies for the people that were waiting, and they were waiting from earlier when I first got in. I just wish I would've known I was gonna get blown off before I wasted a half an hour walking around the mall for no reason. I've had many piercings in my day and this was definitely my worst experience. I've been wanting to get conch piercings for years but never had any extra money to do so. It was my birthday and my mom agreed to pay for them so I was super excited. It's been so long since I've gotten anything done so I didn't really know where to go and it was a Sunday so I figured we'd go to Atomic at the mall to get it done. There were two girls at the counter and after letting them know what I wanted, one looked at the other very hesitantly and said "do you want to tell him....?". This was pretty worrying as it seemed the piercer did want to be disturbed to have to do his job. I filled out the form and he came over to my husband and I and just asked "okay, who is getting pierced?" If he would have looked at the form I filled out then he would know it was me. This was also concerning as this means he did not review it to be sure I was of age and I didn't have any diseases or anything like that. We went into the piercing room, I was asked to lie down, and the piercing commenced. He never introduced himself to me, never went over anything that was happening, never asked me what type/size jewelry I wanted, nothing. I only saw one piercing certificate on the wall with the name Corey Godoy so I assumed that was who was piercing me but after doing a search on the Atomic website before writing this review I figured out the piercer was Art Cundiff. As far as the piercings themselves, that went well. They are symmetrical, where I wanted them, and it barely hurt so there was definitely some skill as far as the actual piercing but I was definitely taken aback when I looked in the mirror and saw they were 16g and not 14g like I was expecting and wanted. Nothing was really said to me about aftercare either so I had to Google how to take care of them as it had been many, many years. Maybe he thought I just knew as I had other piercings? I don't have anything to say about any of the other piercers, nor any of the tattoo artists, but I would not recommend going here to get pierced due to the experience I had. read more

After half an hour and no call I walked back and he was back with 2 people in line. Really. I had been there for half an hour. I've also referred 2 people there in the last 3 months, who got tatoos. My piercings were so unexpected and random. I claimed they were done in celebration of my sons 10 birthday (yes I always do something for myself in the celebration of me going through interest labor pains to get birth to him) and I can do that cause I'm his mother haha. Since it was Friday the 13th, Atomic tattoo promotes selected tattoos and piercings for only $13 plus $7 tip each tattoo or piercing. I couldn't resist so after 3 shots of tequila I was ready for my 2 piercing. Although I'm a first timer in the piercing world the price was excellent and couldn't pass up plus it was my son birthday. Atomic tattoos and piercing is located right inside the citrus park mall near Macy. This was the first time I've ever seen a tattoo/piercing shop inside the mall which was super awesome to. So here is how the Friday the 13 special works: you must signed in to be added to the waiting list and with this special, the waiting was almost 2 hours. 13 dollars piercing is well worth the wait and I'd probably wait an extra 2 hours if I needed too. If you are called and you didn't hear your name or was not where you need to be than you would be skipped and they move on the next customer. Now if you still want your piercing or tattoo you will need to sign up again and be placed at the bottom of the list. Even with the store being flooded with teens and their parents service excellent. Staff was amazingly great and very well knowledgable in their craft. I was very well educated about all types of piercings from Arthur my piercing guy. Even though I was a little tipsy he calmly coached me during both piercing. They even have notary on site to notarized parent consent forms that otherwise you would need to get an outside notary to notarized forms. Very convenient for parents. My piercings are perfect and would do this all over again with no regrets so if you are ever interested in great service while getting a piecing check this place out. This place is the best! I had earlobe repair surgery due to stretched lobes and then had them re-pierced by a doctor. He did them off center so I took them out and waited a long time before coming to Atomic. Corey was the one that did my piercing. I must have asked him 6,000 questions and he answered them all without getting annoyed. He marked my ears with a marker to ensure I liked the placement and fixed it a few times before I was happy. It was so quick & painless I felt like a chicken for being so scared in the first place. He definitely takes piercing seriously and is good at what he does. Actually, i had been debating it for a year, but after the last migraine, I figured I had to go in and try it.
