I was totally impressed! I have to admit...I was a little sketch about a piercing shop in the mall but my daughter said it was highly recommended so if we went! First of all, is it a requirement for all the employees to be beautiful!?! Cuz they were!!! But moving forward, my daughter wanted her septum pierced and when we arrived, the place was hopping! I thought for sure we would have to wait a while. When my daughter got her belly button pierced, we went to Ace tattoo and waited like 2 hours when there were hardly any people there. But anyways, we did not have a long wait at all. Maybe 20 minutes TOPS! Bing, bang, boom. She was happily pierced in a matter of minutes once she was seated. The gal who pierced her (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was super sweet, super gentle and did amazing work. My daughter was beyond happy. And she got lollipops AND a sticker with her piercers picture! Adorable!!! Oh! And the prices cannot be beat!!!! Highly recommend for all your piercing needs!!! read more

The ladies here were super kind and had a lot of information to give when i came in to get my nose pierced. The place was very clean, and it was quick and easy ! They were willing and able to give me lots of information about healing time, and changing out my piercing when I can switch it. Would DEFINITELY recommend if you are looking to get a piercing !! read more

I went here to get my belly button re-pierced after another location did it wrong a few years ago. they were very quick and efficient, and did well with explaining the entire process to you so you know what's going on. i'd definitely come back to this location! loved the staff read more

i have gotten two ear piercings from here and both times went super smoothly. i have very sensitive ears/skin and their jewelry is top notch! i've even had issues with ear bumps from other jewelry from other piercers and come back to them and they always take great care of me and my ear bumps/irritated area goes away after a couple days! i would highly recommend to anyone since this is the only place i truly trust for my piercings! read more

I got my helix piercing (cartilage) done here with my mom and sister. Johnny did our piercings and he was excellent! Very friendly, knowledgeable and fast! We walked in and our piercings were done within the hour. They had a great earring selection and good prices. Highly recommend for piercings. read more

I had Angie pierce my lip and tongue and she did an amazing job. I'll definitely recommend her to everyone

Had family in town and we all decided to get piercings! Jazz is a ROCKSTAR. Ask for her if you want the best!!

I have nothing but truly amazing things to say about the staff- from the person who checked me in (I believe it was James), to the nurse, Anita, to the anesthesiologist, Dr. Stevens. Everyone was incredibly kind and patient-focused. They took the time to talk to you, which seems like a rare thing these days. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a caring healthcare team. read more

Got a triple nose piercing back in January and my hoop continuously kept getting a keloid, even though i did everything that was supposed to be done, towards the beginning of August it started to itch. My body doesn't do fake jewelry so i knew that the hoop was fake once the keloids began coming back every time. I ended up needing to take it out because i got a really bad infection over a keloid. I would say i recommend this place at first but probably only for studs, I still trust tattoos places more. read more

Tysha (ig: @piercings_by_ty) is so sweet and will go out of her way to help you in the healing process. My medusa was beautifully placed and she makes sure to get placement to your liking. The piercing was extra long for swelling but it still started to sink through and she was more than happy to add a NoPull disk and swelling as gone down over night :) read more

Absolutely Love these guys. Not only do they know what they are doing but they do it extremely well. I will never get a piercing anywhere else. Quality jewelry across the board. read more

Got my navel repierced and the placement is perfect! Mimi is awesome! I will be coming back for more piercings in the future! Professional, friendly, and cool environment! I highly recommend this place for all of your piercings!! read more

The piercers here are great and very knowledgeable. The only downside is this place is ALWAYS packed. Expect a 30 min wait at minimum. Even on a Sunday evening or Tuesday morning, it will be a wait. read more

Walked in to get some jewelry and possibly a new piercing. The lady working (heavy-set woman with tattoos and side of her head shaved) was so engulfed in talking to other customers about herself and her personality traits, she didn't even acknowledge me or my girlfriend. She was so preoccupied with describing herself and telling stories, even the customers she was helping seemed uncomfortable. I would have waited if she was actually helping them or acknowledged us, but she was literally just going on and on about nothing. First and last time in the store. You need to hire someone with better customer service, and more professionalism. read more

Tonight I got pierced by Stevie and she did an amazing job! Six months ago I had surgery to close holes from having my ears gauged so my anatomy is difficult and she did a phenomenal job!! Modern Mods is extremely clean, very professional and an all over good vibe!! Thank you for making my experience so awesome! read more

Great service, heather took me in about 20 min before she opened. I sat down right away she got ready and I picked my piercing. And I thought it was going to hurt really bad to get my nose pierced but it was super fast and didn't hurt at all! We also went in and left within 25 minutes! I would definitely recommend her and her business for sure!! read more

I absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to get pierced, whether you just want your ears done or something more. I got my septum pierced by Angie today, and trust me when I say that I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as easy as it was. I'm a bit jumpy with things like needles but when she was screwing the ball on the end of the horse shoe, I totally didn't think it was already finished. It was quick, (mostly) painless, and clean! If I get pierced again I'm definitely going back! read more

After a bad experience at another shop, Modern Mods was a breath of fresh air. My nose piercing only 3 days old, was absorbing a poorly chosen piece of jewelry. The piercer failed to leave room for the swelling as a part of the healing process. I decided to change out the jewelry for a larger piece that allowed for healing room. I didn't quite catch the front desk employee's name, but he welcomed me and had me choose a beautiful new nose stud. The wait was extremely short, and the amazing piercer, Kelly, explained each step to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience. Cannot recommended Modern Mods enough!! read more

Huge thank you to Heather for taking the time to help me get my navel pierced today! I took my daughter here to get her belly button pierced. She is terrified of needles but has wanted this done for a year and knew they have to use a needle for this. Heather was awesome. She took her time and explained each step as she went along to my daughter. She made sure that my daughter never saw the needle during the procedure. There were no tears from my daughter and we both loved that Heather was very understanding and caring. read more

i've had nothing but good experiences every time i've been in here! i've gotten a total of 8 piercings here and i'm planning to get 3 more really soon. Johnny and Emily are the only ones that have pierced me so far but every single person there is amazing i would trust any of them 10000000%. i've sent at least 6 different people to this place for piercings because i think so highly of them. i'm definitely a committed customer i don't trust anyone else to do my piercings read more

I went in today for a nose piercing. The staff is amazing and helpful and loved the no b.s. they were up front with their pricing and it was right on the board. It was easy to register and pick out my pretty sparkly stud. It was worth upgrading 15 dollars more to the flat back. I forget I have a piercing. I waited maybe 5 minutes if even. I got Heather who was very helpful and patient with my non stop bleeding nose. She asked if I planned on getting a hoop later and I said yes. She didn't ask me where I wanted it, I like that and she has an eye where it would look good and placed it so I can get a hoop replacement later. (I'll come here for my nose jewelry too). I highly recommend coming here. They are fantastic. FYI get the H2Ocean for your piercings too please while you are here. Thank you I'll be back for sure if I ever get more piercing which I may! :) read more

Great place to get a piercing. Angie was awesome and kept me at ease while getting my nose pierced. I would highly recommend this business.

Took my 7 year old to get her ears pierced and Mimi took care of her. She was funny and made my daughter laugh and feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. 50 bucks for the piercing along with the earrings. Cleaning solution is separate and $15. That threw me off as little but definitely well worth it. Great experience. Will be back for another piercing and jewelry. read more

Jazz was awesome with lobe piercings yesterday. So so nice and helpful. Also the manager on duty, I've seen interact with children several times she is great at it. They make the effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Thanks modern mods team! read more

Loved Johnny, really nice, clean environment. I got the upgraded piercing, and I guess they will replace the gems if they go missing, or a whole new one, I'm not sure. But either way it's a good deal. read more

Modern Mods - Daith piercing by Johnny. Hurt getting done but it's healing amazingly. Love it! - Piercing Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

Great place jazz was amazing bit of a wait but totally worth it would totally go for my next piercings and a 100% would recommend to anyone.

Low quality jewelry and bad piercings. Ended up with crooked nipple piercings, and a crooked nose piercing. My nose piercing was actually creating a pressure bump from being pierced incorrectly. My friend got a Medusa and it ended up being crooked and would've chipped her teeth if she did not go to an appropriate piecer to look at it. read more

I have been to modern mods 3 times for piercings. All 3 times were amazing. The store is clean and looks outstanding. I recommend this place for anyone. read more

I took my daughter here for her ear piercings. Not only did they do an amazing job at ensuring perfect placement, but they made sure she was comfortable, confident, and came out smiling. Have gone here several times, have had my sister pierced here, my wife has been pierced here, we won't go anywhere else. The staff is flat out awesome, professional and knowledgeable. You want something done right regarding your piercing? You come here. read more

Respectfully, I highly suggest going to a tattoo shop for your piercings. I wish I trusted my gut and my friends results from going here. Employees were a bit passive but also my piercings... I got my upper lobe done and she put the backings so the earrings were tight. This caused a lot of blood to build up in my ears and I've never had piercings hurt soooo much. I didn't notice as I didn't want to touch them with how new they are but when I finally did I realized there was absolutely no room for my ears to swell. They were being pinched and irritated. They told my friend who had a similar experience that it's so they don't bleed. Okay cool, but that causes blood to build up instead of safely draining. I was disappointed as a professional piercer should know this. I will be going to my regular who's done beautiful on all my piercings. If you had a good experience here, awesome! I did not. I call this karma for cheating on my regular piercer with Modern Mods. read more

Excellent service by Heather and the whole crew!! And I mean that. I walked in with my 7 year old who was determined to get her ears pierced but was quite literally terrified..TERRIFIED.. everyone was so patient with her.. we walked in there 3 separate times in the span of a few hours hoping that this time would be it! I love my daughter but I gotta say, it this moment she was hard to deal with but Heather was patient and caring and so understanding throughout the entire process (which ended in her getting her ears pierced but it was a whole ordeal lolol) . I can't say good enough things about everyone here, they all were quite literally her cheerleaders huddled around her making sure she was comfortable and telling her how brave she was for wanting to do it. Just the words of encouragement from the whole team was amazing. Thank you Heather, we will be coming back for all future piercings(which for me personally will be a ton) in the family! read more

The owners here are wonderful! They honored an old groupon for me when they didn't have to which I sooo appreciated! Heather and Bobby are both very cool friendly people. Bobby did my nose piercing and had me in and out of there in less that 10 minutes! I'll definitely be returning for any future piercings! read more
