Dr. Blanson is the best there is as far as podiatrists /foot surgeons go. I had been told by 8 previous doctors that my foot could not be fixed. I had many broken bones, foot was misshaped, and after walking on this destroyed foot for nearly 5 years, the sciatica, hip and foot pain was more than I could stand. Previous doctors told me my foot could be replaced with some type of man made device and I would adapt and get used to it. I was just not willing to give up a body part that easily and accept the fact that I was going to have to "get used to it". I used to enjoy dancing on Friday or Saturday nights, or taking road trips on the weekends or just going to Galveston to ride my bike along the seawall. I gave up my entire social life because of the walking cast I was wearing and the pain I was in. Life was simply...go to work...do what I could to remain employed, go home, watch tv, go to bed. It wasn't long until many friends stopped calling because I simply could not do things and go to events with them etc. On the night of January 21, 2017 I fell and passed out in my bathroom and was unable to get up for many hours. After repositioning myself over a several hour period of time, I managed to get up. I decided the following Monday I was going to agree to have the foot replaced. I contacted my insurance company on Monday and they referred me to Dr. Blanson. My first appointment was 2 days later. Dr. Blanson assured me the foot could be repaired, which I found unbelievable since all others told me there was no hope. Due to issues with my family physicians office communicating to Dr. Blanson's office the surgery did not take place until a month later on February 24. Dr. Blanson told me there could be risks as with any surgery and that some parts of the foot would have to be fused and I would lose a small amount of range and motion but could easily and most likely resume a normal, pain-free social life. He informed me that due to the major trauma to the foot there would be an extended healing time of somewhere between 11 to 13 weeks. He also informed me that once the foot was opened up that he would do everything possible to recreate the perfect foot...no matter how long it took. He suggested the surgery might take between 2 to 6 hours. I was in surgery for 10 hours due to more damage was done than imaging could reveal. He kept his promise! I returned to work after 5 weeks and worked light duty inside the office. After week 9, I started physical therapy 2 times a week. After 4 short PT sessions.... May 15 was the beginning of week 12. I got up on my feet and walked somewhat normally for the first time in years! It is now the 17th (after walking maybe 1500 feet now) and each step is easier and better than the one before! I truly believe I will walk without any kind of limp, or weird gait within a week or so. I am already making plans to go dancing again for the first time in 5 years and anticipating riding my bike along the seawall. Major Kudos to Dr. Blanson, his team of on-staff assistants, nurses, etc., the hospital surgical team, Memorial Kingwood Surgical Hospital as well as the Physical Therapy Team! I am living proof that miracles do take place and there is an honest doctor that says what he is willing to do and does what he says he will do. I cannot be happier with the outcome so far and I am extremely confident that this is going to far exceed any and all expectations I had from before the procedure! Thanks Dr. Blanson for giving me hope, and thanks for all of your positive energy, suggestions, tips, kind words and skills you shared with me throughout the process! Booked an appointment for this afternoon through Zocdoc yesterday. Complete waste of time! I've used Zocdoc in the past and have never had any issues with scheduled appointments. I received a call around 10:30 this morning and was told that the Dr didn't have any available appointments for today and so I would need to reschedule. I explained how I booked my appointment and that when I did it showed open availability for today. I was told that they don't actually sync their information with Zocdoc. What a joke! read more

Dr. Moore is great. His billing department however lacks a little to be desired. I recently received an invoice for $25.00, 2.5 years after the fact. I know insurance companies are slow to process, but I believe this is illegal. My first visit resulted in the same thing happening except it was almost 4 years after my visit that they billed me in excess of $125, which I paid. Someone told me this is balance billing, which I believe is illegal? I would recommend Dr. Moore, but would be watchful about billing. Not sure I personally will be back. I have a couple of friends I recommended and now feel bad that the same thing may happen to them. read more

Dr Zacca was fabulous! She made me feel totally comfortable with her great personality and I know she will get me taken care of.

I started going to Dr Moore in 2017 after a bad experience with another foot surgery earlier that year. After evaluation and xrays, Dr Moore presented my options to make the correction and hopefully eliminate the pain that had persisted. The second surgery and after care with Dr Moore went smoothly and no more pain! In December 2019, when it came time to address the same underlying condition on my other foot, I reached out to Dr Moore of course. The procedure included repairing a shredded ligament, put toes 2 and 3 back into the joint, and put pins in place to repair the hammertoe condition. His surgical precision and passion for his craft resulted in a beautiful outcome! And, I followed his very specific instruction for post surgery, which has now given me two feet with no pain, and the ability to wear closed toe shoes! I had an appointment set for today at 1:30 the staff member Alex called to say the doctor had an emergency and asked if tomorrow would be ok. I told her no cause I took today off from work to see the doctor. I confirmed with her the day before. I strongly believe the person who does the scheduling messed up and they blamed it on the doctor. read more

doctor is great! Went due to ankle & I did mention foot pain. I puechased foot inserts which I was told would be covered by insurance and 10 months later I get a bill $600 total for inserts. I called office & of course no assistance. Inserts are great but I can't wear them with every shoe. read more

Took my husband to see Dr Blanson for his painful ingrown toenails on his feet. He has a great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was going on and how to treat it. He explained all of our options very clearly and explained how the problem came to be in the first place. The assistant Sam (Samantha), was friendly and professional as well. His other assistant Brigitte (I think that was her name, I apologize for getting that one wrong, if not) was very helpful in providing options for the prescription even after we left the building. All around, great staff! I would highly recommend them to any one having issues with their ankles or feet! read more

I had multiple injections to my right foot and 3 surgeries. He destroyed my metatarsal fat pad (which he will never admit) with an injection. He would never tell me what was going on, I had to request for an MRI after 2 surgeries and an X rays and do the dozens of hours of research myself to find out what happened. The man was not honest with what was going on with my foot. On the final surgery he did a procedure I did not authorize so I filed a complaint with the Texas Podiatry Board. My medical records were digitally signed several months later AFTER the scheduled appointment leaving open the possibility of my records were change. I stated this to the TPB. I would strongly recommend against using this doctor. I am waiting for results from TPB but have lost all confidence in the Texas medical complaints system. The Dr. was very good and my foot/ankle is much improved. (For Dr. B would have given 4-5 stars.) However the medical records and billing are unacceptable - 1 star or less) Front desk told me everything would cost me out of pocket only $200. Every visit I tried to pay a copay and was told I didn't owe anything. Four months later I get a bill for $650. stating they have been attempting to collect multiple times!!!!! They didn't even update my address even though I checked with them several times to be sure they had it. I asked for a copy of my medical record for myself and found it to be fool of errors.....said I was diabetic and had gout!!! I don't have either.....These are great medical providers but they need to get a grip on their (non)support staff..... read more

Dr. Blanson is a wonderful doctor, very knowledgeable in his field, absolutely wonderful personality, very easy to talk to and will put his explanations in terms that the average person can understand and follow. However, his staff has left us with finding a new podiatrist and wound care specialist after having an absolutely horrid experience. I was polite and courteous until one of the staff members got argumentative with me. I was called back by the office manager and told that if I continued to abuse her staff, she would have no choice but to terminate services with us. Again I state, I was polite until a member of "her" staff was argumentative and snotty with me. So we terminated services with them. Not because of the doctor, but because of the staff. read more

I was very impressed with my visit to Dr Moore's today. Not only was I created with wonderful staff, I had less than 5 minute wait time. I was very anxious about my visit because I was in a lot of pain, but everyone put me at easy. The Dr was very informative and helped me through my procedure making sure I was always at ease. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Blanson. I went to Moore Foot & Ankle after I was told by another surgeon that my only option was to fuse my big toe. Dr. Blanson listened and understood the importance of my active life, military career and exercise. He provided an option that eliminated the pain and provided flexibility I had not seen in 20+ years. Amazing job, I was walking in two weeks and on the treadmill in 4. Will mot be returning here nor will I recommend this office. I brought my Daughter Izzabella for a post op appt With Dr. Zacca from an ingrown toenail a week ago. That visit was a bit rough for her and she hyper ventilated and I had to ask to have her blood pressure checked and my child was very nervous. I also had to ask to cool the room since it was so hot. That didn't help when your hyper ventilated. Her MA's in the back were pretty attentive after she calmed down. But we never received a call to follow up to see how she was. Today I arrive on time for 1:00 postop and was told there was another $50.00 copay.i said for what its just a postop appt there's mouthing to do. She says she will bill the insurance company and if anything is leftover that insurance doesn't cover which mostly likely there will be. She will be me. What are you gonna billL nsurance for this is a post op appt? For the post op visit she says makes absolutely no sense! Someone needs lesson on patient care and billing! I canceled appt. and walked out. Mine you I pulled her out of school drove 30 mins to come here and I recall when making the appt I was told there wouldn't be a charge. Which there shouldn't be. I was told Today there would be a charge since it was not an outpatient surgery, again in office procedure or outpatient a postop is a postop! read more

Save yourself the frustration, time and money. Go to another podiatrist. I found out the hard way. Procedures were done that were not needed, explained and without my consent. The charges were not explained and were ridiculously high, options not given, I wasted time and money and my son's medically needs were not met. I had to start all over and go to another foot doctor and get the correct procedures done. Dealing with this office after several visits and and giving them a chance to correct the situation has been a Horrible experience, I gave them plenty of chances. They still keep sending me bills with added charges from March of this year. read more
