Have foot pain so decided to get checked out. Through my medical coverage found this place was in network. Made appt with Dr. Batts, wonderful doctor and she has a great personality and bedside manners, very friendly and thorough and took time to answer all my questions and explain things to me. I have plantar Fasciitis and was told to buy new shoes every 6 months, ice, stretch (6 diff types for legs and feet) also got a steroid shot in heal, not fun but very little pain to do, quick and easy. Dr. Walsh came in, looked at my foot, told me what it was, told me to get new shoes and inserts, but didn't remove or fix the problem. She was very inconvenienced she had to see me. I saw another Podiatrist in The Woodlands and he is going to fix the problem and will keep maintenance. read more

I had a lovely essentials pedicure today. Environment was clean and the technician was great. However, at the checkout, they did not honor a 20% off coupon they give via Yelp for checking in. It's interesting to see that they want feedback and five star experience rating per business card, but will not honor the 20% discount advertised on the same platform. The staff member that checked me out stated "I have never seen anybody use that. I'm not even sure how to do that." When I asked her to get somebody to help her, she shook her head. Office manager Ms. Anna was not in to assist either. I asked for a call whenever she returns. Won't be returning for the simple fact of poor customer service at the front desk! read more

Can you give a negative rating this place is a joke !!!!! It's an act of god to make an appointment !!!! Then last week they were closed in which is understandable because of the power outage from Hurricane Beryl but trying to reschedule after they reopened a week later was a joke and couldn't ! First they originally couldn't find my name in their joke of a computer system came out they had my name misspelled ! Then try to schedule my girlfriend they then could not find her and I had to continuously spell her name to them after 10 minutes trying to schedule an appointment I hung up! I will just walk into some other place. It's easier checking into a hospital for surgery than getting booked in there ! read more

The staff was friendly and Dr Amy Walsh was super nice. Heck, she had even spent about 30 minutes talking to me about her family and my public speaking on the area of health care. That's where the story ends with anything pleasant. While I saw the doctor July 5, 2019 and paid out of pocket (they won't take your insurance), no problem, I'm still out the money. The doctor's office refuses to file a claim for your orthotics. Yet Aetna won't allow me to submit their receipt without the office coding it. Leaving me caught. Next, the office requires you to have a "FITTING" for CUSTOM FIT orthotics. This is AFTER you had plastered on your feet. It's another charge (Yup they won't bill your insurance for that) So it's simple. Unless you have MEDICARE, avoid this place. These doctors have been burned by insurance companies and now won't do anything but nickel and dime patients. I've tried working with their staff, sent multiple emails, but they got their 800.00 out of me and now won't help. In this day, everyone is out to hurt people, and this "practice" is full of people who only want to get paid. Live with sore feet, it's easier than being mistreated. read more

I have waited a few days before writing this review. I took my 88 year old mother who has trouble with balance in to get a new pair of orthotics made. She previously had some made here many years ago but was in need of new ones. The doctor came in and was VERY sweet and kind, said she did need new orthotics, then left the fitting into the hands of a young lady who had only been there 2 months. The first thing they did wrong, was have my mom turn over on her stomach in order to make the molds. This was new for her as that's not how they were made before and my experience at another podiatrist was to have them made while sitting up. The sweet young lady had to have another gal come in to help her as she said they hardly ever do these, mostly they deal in ingrown toenails. It was very uncomfortable for my mom laying on her stomach for that length of time but she stuck with it. When it came time to take the molds off, the young lady proceeded to lift the lounger/chair to a sitting position while my mom was still laying on her stomach! I had to jump up and tell her stop, stop!! as my mom was sliding off the end of the chair. She finally got it to stop while I held on to my mom so she wouldn't end up on the floor. Both she and my mom were very flustered and the young lady almost cried. Ok, mistakes happen and a terrible tragedy was averted. Then it came time to go pay. At the pay station was a sign saying that if you are using a credit card, they would add a convenience fee of almost 3%. In order to avoid that they suggest you pay cash, debit or check. My mom did not have $600 cash on her, does not have a debit card, but could have brought the check book had we known when we made the appointment that this was the policy. However, nothing was mentioned when we called for the appointment. This is totally unacceptable to not inform the patient ahead of time, especially for the elderly. My mom was not very happy with the experience and we can only hope when we pick the orthotics up in 5-6 weeks, that they did a proper job on the mold and they help my mom. read more

This practice is , by far, the best choice out there in North West Houston for all podiatry concerns. I have been a patient at this facility since Sept. 2021 when I was released from a 3 year prison sentence which I served the end C of at Plane State in Dayton, TX. Unfortunately prison is a far cry from the Ritz, if u know what I mean. So, is it any surprise that after almost a full 2 yrs behind bars- 16months @ the Harris County Jail & then another approximately 4months in TDCJ custody- that I managed to contract some knarly, aggressive, painful, & highly resistant to treatment fungal infection on both the bottoms & sides of both feet, as well as, the entirety of my toes & the regions in between each toe as well? To be honest, whenever ur sentenced to The Texas Department of Corrections, it's just a given that you'll be bringing home some species of fungi that u certainly haven't brought home with u ever before!!! I mean, apparently inside of those showers, and on those hot concrete floors, and even ?possibly in the socks? they give out to wear daily, there resides some serious mutated variety of regular, common foot fungi such as Athelete's Foot & turned into some kind of SUPER-FUNGI!!!! The specialists @ Louetta Foot and Ankle were unfortunately unable to give me an exact name for my new fungal companion. However, they seem to have some good ideas about how to treat it, thank God! They prescribed it ketoconazole wash to be used twice daily for a month and then return for a check up. This is crazy because ketoconazole topical wash is typically only needed to be used about 2times to a week in order to completely eradicate regular old Athlete's Foot. That mean was so gnarly that it required an initial proposal over four times that necessary to cure a regular case of athletes foot & on top of that, I needed to apply it twice as often as those individuals treating common athletes foot. Unfortunately, during a stint, I did in the hospital while locked up, somehow the fungus had spread to my chest region, particularly the area on the underside of the breasts where there is a natural crease. Sure that it was the same type of fungus, the doctor went ahead and prescribed the same treatment for it as well. To my dismay it took longer than expected for this area to clear up completely- about 2 months instead of the one they had hoped. It was the foot fungus that has been the real kicker though!! Yes, I did say "has been", as on , present tense, as in, yes, it is still here with my too this day!!! It is highly unfortunate to still have to deal with this Problem today even. The medications they prescribed are effective on treating the fungus, just not completely curing it appearantly. None of my continued fungal issues are in any way due to a negligence of any sort on behalf of this clinic. In fact, I credit them with the ability to manage the fungi effectively @ all & my enhanced ability to live with it in relative ease & comfort. They also have a great pedicure shop attached to the location where you can get a pedicure done by professionals, a plus bc they understand what you're dealing with & can help u to properly & regularly debride the excess dead ( or whatever ) skin that comes with this sort of infection. They're essentially in the business of giving u a really thorough "medical pedicure." The pedicure is my favorite part of the entire clinic as this seems to do more to improve things than anything else as far as the overall appearance of my feet & also the way they physically feel when properly cleaned, treated, scrubbed, debriefed, massaged, moisturized, pampered & finally painted by the knowledgeable & (thankfully) gentle technicians. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and personable from the doctors & medical assistants to the pedicure techs & office management & staff- This facility is an overall joy to visit truely, even when u find out they it may need to be on a probably permanent & definitely frequent basis. All of the Doctors & nurses are all very informed & knowledgeable concerning conditions of the foot & ankle & they offer a wide array of effective & versatile treatment options to suit everyone's preferences. The only negative at all is the fact that they did not take my insurance (AmBetter & Friday Health Plans-Silver), but, being that I just updated my insurance coverage this month, they are now covered for me by my new choice of insurance, Oscar, through the Marketplace. I recommend anyone who's in Houston on the NW side code Lists For & Ankle Specialists for all their podiantary concerns. They're GREAT!!! read more

Just got my ingrown removed today, and the staff is insanely nice and very easy to converse with which makes the whole process way easier and honestly kind of fun, and especially since I'd never had numbing medication before I couldn't stop laughing, so this place is great and I highly recommend you call asap because the price ain't as bad as you think read more

Dr. Bachman treated my fractured right ankle and I could not be more satisfied with every aspect. He decided on a boot versus a cast and possible surgery resulting in hospital bedtime. Living alone having a hospital stay would be a nightmare for me This approach allowed me to continue living at home. Today was my final exam on the ankle and because the results were positive I will not be going back. I recommend him to everyone. I've been a patient of Dr. Fiala's the past few years. He is compassionate, a great listener and takes his time with each patient. I highly recommend him. The front desk staff and nurses are welcoming and helpful, too. Dr. Fiala was able to determine the root cause of my problem which had been misdiagnosed as plantar fasciitis by other podiatrists. I know this is an odd thing to compliment, but he's really good at administering steroid injections in the feet. I had two done today and did it in a way that caused no pain. Impressive! Last but not least, Louetta Foot and Ankle has appointments late in the afternoon which is helpful if you need to see a doctor after work. This place sells all their orthotics without billing through insurance because if they did they wouldn't get as much money as they get from selling straight to patients. That is what the nurses told me.They however don't tell you that you can get the same orthotics for much cheaper through a pharmacy with prescription or even amazon. I tore a ligament in my foot. They told me that I needed this boot which they sell for $200.00. They said insurance won't cover it. When I looked it up the same boot was around $45 on Amazon. And yes insurance would cover but they do not want to go through insurance. They told me after I repeatedly ask why. They were only about selling me this dang boot instead having my best interest at heart. Will never go back and do not recommend. When I declined the boot Dr. Walsh wasn't so nice anymore read more

Dr Bachmann and his team are very friendly and were able to schedule me as a new patient within two days. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and filled out the short amount of paperwork. Once I was called back to the room, one of the assistants got my injury info and vitals. Dr Bachmann had several patients that day and I could overhear his friendly conversations in the hallway between rooms. He met with me and treated my issue, same day. True Actual Event: A regular patient to this clinic at one point, I stopped going to this office when upon my last visit a two enthusiastic young girls (office workers) came into my waiting room and asked me to open my mouth. Normally, I would be intrigued--"are they going to feed me grapes?", I thought. I asked "why?" and they said they needed to do a DNA test using my saliva. I said "Huh???". They mumbled something. I said: "for what reason?" And they said it's to see if I had any allergies or genetic issues. I what this would cost and they beamed excitedly: "You pay nothing! We bill your insurance company!" After I washed away that queasy being-taken-advantage-of feeling, I thought: Erm, really? At a podiatrist's office? I don't think so. I not only said "no", I left. To whomever manages this practice: "Good job!" You lost at least one patient over this aggressive nonsense. read more

I would give Dr. Fiala and his staff 10 stars if I could! I had been trying my own handy work at fixing an ingrown toenail for about a month and was in tears almost every day due to the pain. I had never been to a podiatrist before and was very nervous. The ladies in the front office were very kind and helpful. They also showed a lot patience given my insurance could not be reached due to the holiday. Dr. Fiala was very sensitive to my worries about this being my first ingrown surgery...also that I had to bring my 3 children with me! He was very professional, gentle, and quick. I have so much respect for Dr. Walsh and her staff. They're always concerned and show the upmost respect to me and the care I've received has been A+! Part of my treatment is the MLS laser therapy. While you're waiting to go into a room they have an MLS infomercial showing on the television. I've watched it too many times. It sounded too good to be true. I have had 5 out of the 6 MLS treatments prescribed and my pain and discomfort is night and day from first treatment! I was hesitant to try it, it can be a little pricey but it is so worth it! GREAT experience with Dr Bachmann for bunion problem. Toe was realigned well, pain management post surgery was phenomenal and excellent stitches resulted in very minimal scar. I did the cold therapy and the MLS laser therapy (yes, just do it!) and followed all the instructions. Unbelievably, I was able to wear a mid-heel on day 88 and back in high heels for work 6 weeks later. Dr Bachmann came highly recommended and 7 months post surgery, I definitely agree. He's THE guy. Dr. Fiala did an excellent job. I had heard many bad things about having bunion surgery. From poor results to pain. Well Dr. Fiala did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable about having the surgery, doing the surgery and follow up. I had a little discomfort the day after surgery but no pain. I didn't even need to take an aspirin. Two months later the scaring is very little, I'm exercising as normal and even wearing boots that were painful before to walk in. Save your money and your feet. DO NOT come here. Their staff is always changing, the podiatrists are rude. I had surgery with this outfit, and was left in more pain than I started off with (which was considerable). I had to have this surgery corrected by a PROPER orthopedic doctor. Podiatrist ARE NOT medical doctors. Let them deal with your bunions, ingrown toe nails, and not much else. Your insurance will also cover a higher percentage if you go to a REAL orthopedic surgeon. I paid $7000 here (with insurance), and had to pay for all the extras (boot, scooter, PT, etc). At my orthopedic surgeon I paid $500, and didn't have to pay for my boot (or the second one), OR my scooter! Also the free ice pack I got from my chiropractor is better than the ones you can purchase here. The PT lady would even complain openly about other patients. The business they are running here is deplorable. read more

This is a money machine! I was in extreme pain and was able to get appointment the same day with Dr. Fiala. After x-rays, I was diagnosed with plantars fasciitis, received a steroid shot and was sold an orthotic ($60) for my sneakers. Total visit $278.00. I was also told to get Birkenstock's since I am really a sandals person. In less than a month, I wore the orthotic maybe 4-5 times. The last time I wore it I was doing yard work so I rinsed it out in the sink and it ripped!! So I called and asked if there was some kind of warranty since for that much money I would assume better quality. The girl who answered told me that was a temporary orthotic (I was not fitted for a "permanent" orthotic) and they only last about a month but she would check with her manager and call me back. Of course I never heard back! They also suggested laser treatments that are not covered by insurance! None of it was covered by insurance even though when I first called I was told that "some of it would be covered". When I went back for follow up, I was still in a lot of pain and was told it was too soon for another shot. That information cost $78.00. I have found another doctor! read more

You come in with foot pain. Woman at front makes you physically get up 6 times to accomadate her This is not what you need. This is not a nice staff. Don't waste your time. Go to some place else. There is constantly a video running of surgery. I guess there is not enough money with treatments Surgery should not be only option, it should be the last. Doctor let's staff run her. I need a real doctor not her staff running the place. Manners seem to be optional at this spot. After 1hpyr and 15 minutes md comes in. Only option is surgery. Not willing to do surgery is the 500$ option of foot pad. Think about how valuable your time is and then decide if you want to go here. read more

This week will mark six months since my first bunion surgery. My second bunion surgery was three weeks later. Dr. Bachmann did an outstanding job and made me feel very comfortable with both procedures! I did not have any issues following either surgery and really didn't need the pain medication provided (I didn't even get a prescription for my second surgery as it was not needed). I did follow all of the post-surgery instructions including using the cold therapy system and the MLS laser therapy - I highly recommend both. I am back to my normal exercise activities, including Jazzercise. I do still have some scaring, but think that will continue to lessen over time. Dr. Bachmann definitely took time to answer all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed at all. I strongly recommend Dr. Bachmann and Louetta Foot and Ankle for their quality service, commitment to excellence and caring culture. I can't complete this review without a shout out to Alice who schedules Dr. Bachmann's surgeries.
