I just knew I was tired of not seeing well, even with my glasses. Someone called almost immediately to set up an appointment. After a bunch of tests Dr. Mollman told me I do need cataract surgery and since I also had astigmatism I would benefit from Toric lenses if I chose to go that route. I did decide to go with the Toric lenses so now 3 weeks later, after wearing glasses for 50 years + I have 20/20 vision in both eyes & only use "cheaters" to read small print. Sometimes professionalism and efficiency get in the way of "bedside manner", but Dr Mollman and all the nurses and supporting staff at both clinics and the Surgery Center are all very good at what they do but are also very caring and considerate.

He arrived late, rushed into the room with a massive attitude, and treated me like nothing more than an 'in-and-out' paycheck. When I pushed back against his insults, he became incredibly defensive and arrogant. He threw it in my face that he has 'done this for over 20 years,' lecture-style, basically telling me to trust his word over my own 'lying eyes'--even though I read street signs, license plates, and lines on the road perfectly clear every single day. Because he was so completely disrespectful, toxic, and rushed, the entire exam was an absolute joke, unprofessional, and entirely inaccurate. His dynamic forced me to spend extra time and money getting a second opinion elsewhere just to get an honest reading. If you want a thorough exam where you are treated like a human being and with basic respect, avoid this doctor at all costs. Terrible bedside manner."
