He was very thorough and took plenty of time to answer my questions. I felt very safe while at the range with him. The rules were very clear and safety was the number one priority. I was very nervous to shoot since it has been a while and he was able to keep me calm and focused and I actually did pretty well! I am 100% going back for some private shooting lessons. I recently got my LTC and Steven was very helpful in helping me pick out a firearm that was the right size for me. He was even willing to go to the shop with me to look and help me learn how to clean it. Steve goes the extra mile.

It's a very nice store and I've met the owner at the club and he seems like a great guy so I was very surprised when I had this interaction With some of the employees I am a very active member of the club and I understand That if you win something in the raffle and it's not exactly what you want you can generally upgrade it without an issue I was not interested in the pistol that I won and wanted to purchase a rifle that was roughly $200 more When I called outer Limits the day after I won the raffle in December, I spoke to a woman at the counter and she congratulated me on winning and I asked her about Exchanging the pistol for the rifle and she got all flustered and told me that that wasn't possible that the club had already purchased those guns for their raffle and nothing could be done I explained to her that I know that it is possible As it had Been done before the lady informed me that she would have to talk to the owner and that she wasn't even sure that she could get a hold of him which I thought was incredibly bizarre So she said that she would get back to me. This was the middle of December. You only have 30 days to pick up the item so I waited. It's the holidays. People are busy I understand but I never heard from her again so I called back in January and I talked to a gentleman down there and it was very easy. I explained the situation I did inform him that I had called earlier and spoken with a woman who would never return my call, but he didn't really want to hear about that so we moved on. I explained to him that I knew what I wanted had the item number again he told me you would have to talk to the owner I said OK And he called me back the next day and said it was possible to do it. I said OK and we proceeded, and he explained that he would reach out to me when the item was at the store. Roughly one week later he called. I was unavailable at the time and I called back about one hour later and asked to speak with Joe who happens Share the same name as the owner Joe Morgan, but I knew I wasn't speaking about the owner It was the same woman that I talk to in December that never called me back that answer the phone. I asked if I could speak with Joe she asked was it the owner and I said no I don't know the gentleman's last name. He never told it to me, but I explained to that he called and left a message about one hour earlier and she started snapping at me. What's this about? What's your name? And I could hear the gentleman standing right next to her, so I said that he had just called me an hour earlier and was she gonna let me speak to him and then she got really furious and said she didn't like the way that I was talking to her and then I would have to call back later I don't think I've really ever been treated like this. It was very unusual. I was so angry that I did not call back until the next day so I asked to speak to Joe and the gentleman that I was talking to informed me that he was busy and I said I can leave my information or I will call back. he said OK and took my information. Joe called me about 10 minutes later and I thanked him for taking care of this issue but then he informed me that he wasn't happy with the way that I had spoken to his coworker the previous day so that just made e angry and I proceeded to explain to him How the situation was handled so poorly, and that this person has no place doing business with anybody in the public sector, I don't care what business she's in I told him that I deal with people all the time very consistently and generally, there are never any issues and things go very smoothly. There's no way possible that I am. The only person that this woman has ever had an issue with. I would think this is more the norm than the exception So then, Joe informed me that we would just let bygones be bygones and then I would have to come in on a day that that woman wasn't working so I wouldn't upset her I had never heard any kind of crazy talk like this in my entire life so this was a Friday and he told me I could come in and pick up the rifle on Friday or Saturday and he would be there both days . I walked in the next day on Saturday. There was two men and a woman working there, and One of the men asked if he could help me and I said I was looking for JOE and he informed me that Joe wasn't there which I thought was very odd that I just spoke to him the day before and he told me he would be there at both days Then he informed me that his name was Joe and he was the guy that I was looking for. It was just absolutely amazing how this transaction was being handled. Joe went and got the rifle and brought me over to her computer to do the paperwork that needs to be completed. I have spoken with 2 very knowledgeable women that work here on 2 separate occasions (there may be more than 2 -I'm not sure). There are plenty of shops with nice and knowledgeable guys working in them but I find that some of them mansplain almost to the point of being insulting and sometimes they don't take questions or after purchase issues seriously when a woman is talking to them. It's refreshing to be taken seriously when gun shopping. I highly recommend this shop for all female shooters. Prices are similar to other local small town shops. They aren't going to match the prices of the bigger shops who order and stock in bulk but they do have an impressive selection of guns and accessories.

Went to the WSC today to take a class in pistol saftey, to obtain my permit to carry a firearm…read more Setting up an appointment for a class was very easy. I had one on one instruction from an instructor Joe Fee. He helped my girlfriend with the basics of fire arms saftey and pistol operation. While she was nervous at the beginning of shooting portion, Joe made her feel comfortable and she got the shooting down pat hitting the bullseye a few times before the end of the session. She had never fired a pistol before. The class was informal yet informitive, with lots of hands on instruction. Joe was very informitive an had great answers for even my dumbest questions. Highlights: indoor heated pistol range. indoor archery range, one on one instruction, easy to get to (right off the highway) relaxed atmosphere.

I recently got my LTC a couple months ago and have only shot a couple hundred rounds in my life. I…read moretook Will's Concealed Carry class last night, which was very informative on proper firearms and holsters for concealment, situational awareness, and how to safely protect yourself should you need to defend against a threat. I also took his Marksmanship class a couple of hours ago. By the end of the session, my groups were MUCH tighter and I was able to get 3 rounds on target in 1.04 sec! I'm looking forward to training and going back for the next levels of his Marksmanship course.

Great experience and great find so close to Boston! I've always thought gun ranges were 1-2hr drive…read moreoutside Boston, but surprised to find one so close in Dorchester. The appointment was easy to make through text messages and we were able to get one day of (but note they do not accept walk ins). You also have to have ID and pay in cash so do not forget these things. This was my first time ever at a shooting range, but due to the great staff, I wasn't nervous and the instructions are very clear on what to do. We got to shoot a few different types of guns and got to shoot at some paper targets and metal targets at the end of the range. There is also supposed to be a time limit, but as a group of 4 we never felt rushed and really enjoyed our time! Would come again!
