We wanted to have someone install porcelain tile in our bathrooms. We'd already purchased the…read moretiles and grout we wanted to use. After getting three estimates, we went with Pro Floors. We were impressed with Flavia's knowledge and professionalism when she came to review the project for the estimate. She asked questions to understand our needs and wants. She patiently listened and answers our questions. During the installation, Flavia came out a few times to ensure everything was going well. She also helped find just the right transition pieces to work with the existing flooring outside the baths. The installation was a two day process. It went very smoothly and was handled in a way that caused the least amount of disruption for us. Our installer was skilled and did a great job not only with the tile, but with new baseboard and a new toilet installation in one of the baths. He was great to work with. Flavia came out one last time after the installation to ensure everything was good and that we were happy with the result. Pro Floors' cost estimate was in the middle of the three estimates we received. But, our choice was based more on our experience during the initial visit than anything else. We were not disappointed. We are very happy with the quality work and service we received, and definitely got our money's worth.

The quote process was efficient and painless. The installation team was courteous and conscientious. They made the removal of old carpet and tile painless - it was all gone in 1 morning, ready for new wood floor installation. They were able to put floor balancing material and moisture barrier the same day. They worked with us on a tricky moulding situation in our kitchen that allowed us to have a seemless look throughout our home. In one day, the team was able to install all the floors and baseboards with amazing speed - moving our washer and dryer (and replacing it too!). The final product was PERFECTLY installed. The quote matched the payment and we are very satisfied with the price and end product. We highly recommend the entire team at Pro Floors.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to work with Karen (who sounds amazing) and worked with someone else who doesn't follow through. The person who came to my house and took measurements was nice enough. It took a couple of calls and texts to finally get a quote for carpet removal and then when I reached out to schedule, no response. I ended up ripping it out myself. I've never felt like I had to chase/call/text someone so much to give them my business. I went to the store to pick out some carpet for a quote. The price I received verbally (because the printer wasn't working--so he was supposed to email it to me but hasn't) was high but there was no offer to work with me to find something less pricey. Overall very disappointing.

Last year, we decided to extend the old hardwood into another section of our home. Andrew's dad is retired now, but Andrew now has his own business and we were happy to find him! Since we wanted to alter the finish, the old hardwood needed to be sanded and refinished to match the new install. Andrew did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and the results are nothing less than stunning. No one can even tell there is an old floor and a new floor even though the "seam" is long and in the middle of a large open area....it's invisible. Andrew works with kindness, integrity, and skill. He is everything you could want in a contractor. In fact, we are about to begin another phase and add hardwood to the last 2 rooms in the house...and, of course, Andrew is the person I want to do it. *I snapped a quick pic of the floors today (over a year after he did them). Please note - they aren't super clean today - but it shows you the quality of his work. By the way, the "seam" between old and new is IN the picture, and I bet you can't find it.

From the very first interaction, I could tell Lance was a straightforward, down to earth guy, and not someone who would yank my chain or try to oversell me on something. I had come into my appointment with him believing I knew what I wanted (a Dreamweaver carpet). Lance mentioned he primarily does Shaw and actually recommended another carpet store who would be able to get Dreamweaver at a better pricing. I decided to explore the showroom at Valley Floors, found a Shaw carpet that I really liked and got it priced out. Not only was Lance comparable/better on price than other places, but it was also less yardage required (excess/wastage) than other places. The install work was great, you can't even tell there are any seams. I really appreciated the patience Lance had during our interactions and how he never pressured me into any specific product. I strongly recommend Valley Floors, they are great people, they do great work, and it it is done at great pricing. I will be getting the rest of my house done by them in the near future as well.

After getting the water damage treated, I needed to get my 1st floor drywall ceiling 6'x7' patched up and master bedroom's toilet subfloor and tiles replaced. Initially got a quote from a construction company that priced me at $10,000 to do the rebuild. Please keep in mind that I am being covered by home insurance for the water damage which had a limit of $10,000 and $5,000 was spent for cleaning and restoration. Having done my 1st floor flooring with Tower Flooring, I knew they did remodeling. I gave Emir(the owner) a message of what was going on in my house and responded quickly that he can get the job done. He came by the house and checked out the situation and kept me under my limits which my home insurance America Modern was in agreement with the pricing. Fast forward, I end up changing the scope of work from having just my master's bathroom flooring done to trying to get my master's bedroom flooring done in which Emir gave me his professional opinion that the hallway would need to be done to keep uniformity and flow in the house. Of course the new scope of work wasn't fully covered by the insurance, but kept it all within my budget. I had Marvin patch up the ceiling and repainted it on my 1st floor. He did a really great job and his customer service was spot on. While doing his work, he put up barriers to contain any paint or debris. His overall work took roughly 4 days to allow dry time. To stay within budget, made the decision to only repaint the area rebuilt, ceiling looks great and barely noticeable. Jonathan and his crew did the flooring and subfloor rebuild (they did my 1st floor flooring as well) which took them 2 days to finish. Please keep in mind that having your stuff in the house prepped and moved out of the way will significantly help the time they take to do their job. If you are within a budget, this will save you some money as well. To stay within my budget, I made the decision to keep my baseboards and repainted them after the flooring was done.
