This place is apparently an after school care for the surrounding schools and they include this martial arts as part of their classes I believe. They do school pickups too according to their website. We saw their big yellow bus and a mini van parked in front. I saw they had an Online special offering a free uniform and trial class. I filled out the form and they responded via email by asking which school. It's one on their pickup route. After I told them they just never responded. Meh. I think I read they're a family owned business. No prices listed anywhere.

Over the years, I have had the honor to train at several other academies around the country while traveling, including some of the most popular and well respected academies as well as many of the surrounding academies in the greater Houston area and one thing that I can say without a doubt is that this place is special. They are super friendly and welcoming of new students with no experience and that is what really made me stick to this environment for such as long time. It takes away all the anxiety that you get from starting a combat practice like this and really makes you feel at home. I came to watch my friend's son have a belt grading on a Saturday and I was amazed at how many kids…read more(and a few adult students) were at the event. The kids were all very well behaved and seemed as though they really enjoyed the event. I have not been to a normal class but it seems the instructors all know the children by their names and are all very nice! When I was a child, I also went to similar martial arts courses but they were not as large and as fun as the class that Cho was giving. I envied the small children having so much fun with each other and with the instructors. I believe this would be a great place for your little ones (or yourself) to come take courses. The venue is quite large in which there are 3 rooms with various equipment. They have mirrors in one room which I assume the children use to watch themselves while they are learning moves. The lounge area has a few couches where the parents and visitors can have a seat and watch the students. They even have three stalls where you can change. I was quite impressed by the one visit. Check it out if you or your child is interested in learning martial arts with some fun instructors.

Mr. Cho is an honest, kind man and it's easy to see that he truly cares about the students. However Mr. Cho can't be everywhere at once. My kids were in the before & after school program and the lady who is responsible for that side of the business is horrible !!! Her name is Ms. Key and she is the one who would get the kids late to school, she's not patient and understanding that kids are kids. She would get my son to text me or my wife to see where we were at almost everyday when we were on the way to pick up our kids. We were never late picking up our kids so I have no clue why she would do that. The facility closes At 8:00 the childcare side closes at 6:30 we were alway there between 6:20-6:30 Never late ! The funny thing is when your child gets hurt by accident or another kid she nor her staff calls the parents it seems like they try to cover it up first. This lady also is a very big liar. She has to talk to all the parents everyday to tell them how bad their kids were. And if the kids weren't bad she'll make small stuff up. She'll continue to lie until she gets caught up in it and you confront her about it. Her assistant named Emily calls kids "little shits" and none of this is made up Ms. Key told us herself that Emily said that. After hearing bad reports everyday we got tired of it and just took our kids back to the daycare that they were at before joining taekwondo.

Our 5 year old did about 6 months of taekwondo here. Some of the instructors are great! Some... not…read moreso much. My biggest drawback to this place is that it seems to be a constant money pit. Every 8 weeks the kids need new gear, a new weapon, etc. They don't even spend much time teaching the weapons but they have to own them. It felt like they were just making up reasons for us to pay them more money. I like the concept of teaching life skills to the kids. But I don't feel like all the people there are a good example of those values. For a place that's supposed to be anti-bullying, I've seen parents bullying their children there, and even the owner treating children and parents rudely. Overall, my kid had a good experience. He was oblivious to the negative stuff I wrote on here. His coach was fantastic and he gained confidence and discipline. But personally I'm over it. I don't usually post reviews like this, but I wish I would've known a little more about all this before I signed our six month contract.

They take the time to walk through techniques while providing scenarios to help you understand how their teachings can be applied to real-life situations. The class environment is always welcoming of ALL levels and the people are really nice. They truly spend the time to get to know everyone and make you feel like you belong.
