This is the biggest size pizza they have and it's quite pricy for the size! It was definitely delicious so if you don't mind spending a good buck for a mid size pizza then i recommend this place. We did half caspian half tristan for the topping. and the drinks are very small it's 1 size. However they have fresh tea and lemonade .. a plus. read more

I truly love Pizza MOD (how I call it) I first tried this pizza back in 2017 in Washington and I was over the moon a couple years later when I found out they were in other states. On my trip back to Texas in over a year of not leaving my home in Alaska I ordered my beloved Pizza Mod. I ordered it in three separate times in the span of about a week. Everyone has a favorite pizza place and this one is mine. It's lovely, it's consistent. The toppings are fit for the simpleton and the pretentious to come together and enjoy a night together. The price is fantastic at around $12 a pizza. You could share but I know me and I won't share one of these. I feel like I make out like a bandit every-time because I load up on all my favorite toppings while paying a flat rate. A criticism? I like when they do a swirl of sauce. The zigzag don't carry the same pizzazz. Also the chocolate cake is good. read more

I don't live here and had never had a Mod pizza. Easy enough. It's like Blaze pizza, which is what I have back home. You start with your base size and sauce and can pick as you go or you can use their menu to start you off. You can always add more as you'd like. The staff greets you as you walk in which is always nice. They weren't overly friendly but they were never rude. They were steady on a Friday night with in store orders but it looked like they were quite busy with online orders. It took quite a while as it did seem like the online orders were put ahead of in stores. I would think something possibly would need to be managed a bit better on that. That's why I gave 4 stars. The pizza was pretty darn good. The dough was flavorful and crispy on the edges. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. The fresh serranos were packed with heat. I really liked that they offer sauce to go with the pizza. The ranch really helped me handle the heat from that pepper. I missed that they had spicy marinara so we got sides of that also. Really tasty: a bit of sweet with with heat. Overall my experience was good and I did enjoy the pie better than my design your own pizza in my hometown. read more

I've eaten a mini pizza at this location several times over the years and always been satisfied, but today what I got was lacking. First, NOT ENOUGH crust. Have they done what every other food maker has done post- COVID and downsized the already small amount of dough, hoping to fool the customer into paying more for less? Or did I just happen to get an undersized portion? Not enough mozzarella. It's the most important element on a pizza, and the person who built my pizza put on what amounted to a tiny smattering -just over a sprinkle -of cheese. Maybe that works in art, but give me more protein, please. When I picked up my pie, I could not see anything under the toppings but red sauce. And I certainly couldn't taste the cheese. No way could I hope to see it stretch out all stringy and yummy as I pulled my first slice. Finally, the way it was cooked was not what I've come to expect. I've always loved the extra crispy crust that makes it possible to pick up each slice and take a bite. Today, no way that could happen. The outer edges were okay, but the middle part was not done, so I had to fold each microscopic slice in half just to get it to my mouth without the toppings falling off. And, I just couldn't bring myself to use a plastic fork on such a tiny slice. My knife skills aren't that good. My bell peppers were crunchy too, and that's never happened before. This confirms that my over priced pizza was not in the oven long enough. I tried to look at it in a positive light. This was a low calorie meal. But, on the way out, I made the time to share my displeasure with the folks behind the counter, something I rarely do. I really love Mod Pizza and have had great experiences in Kyle and Buda. New Braunfels is hit or miss. Seems they are always out of something. A new low was Sunday night. There was a smattering of cheese on my pizza, way less than any other time I've gotten a MOD pizza. I asked what's up with the lack of cheese and was told they were running out of mozzarella so we're "conserving". I said how can you run out when you're in the same parking lot as HEB and was told they asked if they could get some and were told no. Tells me customer satisfaction is not important to the decision maker. I also asked for a small caesar salad which never materialized (was not charged for it) and the cashier didn't ask me if I wanted a drink (which I did.). This was my first time trying MOD's pizza. I got the Mega Mod, two regulars, and a mini salad. I like the variety of choices they allow you to select and the price is very reasonable. My friend was a regular customer and greeted us with a lovely smile. All of the workers were friendly and seemed to have a happy work environment as well. I love putting corn on my pizza so that topping was a must for me! The salad was delicious and overall I was very satisfied with my visit. The pricing was reasonable, there is plenty of parking, restaurant was clean, the food was yummy and the staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for anything better! So disappointing. Ordered a basic pepperoni pizza just to keep it simple when trying a new place & didn't know we had to ask for cheese & sauce. Can't even believe this was presented the way it was. Just terrible. If you look hard enough you see some red to the edge which we are guessing was a touch of sauce? It was like eating crust with a few pieces of pepperoni. Just had a very bad experience @ MOD pizza with Order # 723998310. We recently moved to this area in New Braunfels and after a yelp check discovered MOD pizza and since it was very close ordered for delivery. The total was $57.32... Once order was placed @ 6:27pm, you responded with a delivery time of 7:14pm which is 47 minutes and we live literally around 3 miles from the store. The time of delivery did not happen, the ordered arrived at 7:30 (driver said: sorry about the delay). The pizza was room temp at best, and after an already poor customer experience, we discovered the 4 no name cakes ordered for my husband, 2 daughters and I was missing from the bag (kids are devastated). I immediately called the MOD store and spoke with a lady. She was very apologetic and offer a refund or another trip to deliver the missing cakes. We chose the cakes since our kids was still asking for desert. The MOD rep said it will be about 30 mins. We waited, and 30 mins on the dot, I got a cancellation notice on my phone saying, DELIVERY CANCELED - Order 723998310 @ 8:32pm. I again called the MOD store, and after answering several questions, was informed, "oh that girl is new and she is not allowed to process an order for less that 10$" and offered a refund for the cakes that never arrived, and to send us a coupon. First off, the order was more than 10$, it was $57.32, but you forgot items that we paid for. Then after about 90 mins of run around, we find out that no effort will take place to make it right...Our first time, will be our last time ever using MOD pizza unless someone can convince me otherwise. The order was wrong, the wait was too long, pizza room temp, and staff that did not make things right...very disappointed. I don't leave many reviews, but want to warn people before the same thing happens to someone else. read more

Horrible service!! I came in today to get a quick lunch before having to be back at work. I stood there along with a guy for over 10 minutes and wasn't acknowledged at all while the girl made 6 online orders. I understand that online orders need to be filled, but there should be a pause to add orders of people who are actually standing in front of you to order. There should be a mix considering we are standing there. After all of that, I was told that the now 10 pizzas that were waiting to go in the over would have to go in before mine so I didn't have time to wait. So frustrated!!!! This pizza shop is conveniently located right off the highway so it was easy to find en route between San Antonio and Austin. Being gluten-free, I was able to go with a cauliflower crust, and the guy making the pizzas changed gloves to make mine for my allergy. Can't beat a build-your-own gf pizza for the price. I placed an online order tonight so I could grab some food after I got off of work, and the order that was placed was not the order I received. I ordered a mini mod pizza and a pocket pizza. The ingredients were very sloppily thrown onto the pizza and the pocket pizza was NOT a pocket pizza. It was just a mini with the bare minimum on the crust. Okay let me get this out of the way up front: MOD Pizza makes the best tasting pizza I've been able to find anywhere in this town. Their crust is awesome and their ingredients are top notch! So why only two stars? Because their service STINKS! We've gone here to eat a total of ten times and on two occasions the experience was stellar. The rest of the time we experienced serious customer service issues. Don't go here during the Sunday "Church Rush" because these people have no clue how to handle a large crowd hitting their location. We found that out the hard way and stood in line for thirty minutes to order and then waited another twenty minutes to get our pizzas last Sunday. So we tried Saturday night. I mean it's got to be better than Sunday right? WRONG! We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and there were only a few people in front of us. We thought we scored. Then after ordering our food and getting our drinks, the dam burst and people started flooding into the place. That was when everything went wrong. My wife's pizza came out in ten minutes...acceptable. Mine came out twenty minutes after hers...UNACCEPTABLE! Not only that but it was allowed to sit out, cooling, while the "cutter" figured out how to do his job (and failed miserably). I stood there, looking at my pizza getting colder by the second, and he wouldn't even make eye contact. He kept sorting the orders and sliding plates around. He never smiled nor did he look up to acknowledge anyone. NOT COOL! When he finally got his #%*$ together he put my pizza on a plate and cut it, and yelled out my name. When I got my pizza it was cold and my wife was already done with hers. It was a terribly disappointing experience. The sad part is that the food and the concept is extremely high quality. The mismanagement of this particular establishment is horrific and poor customer experience is the end result. Oh and the restaurant was so cold this evening that my wife and several other people were shivering and had to wear their coats. One couple had to go out to their car and bring in a blanket to wrap their children in because they were shivering. They were out of straws. Soda was flat. Proper management, staffing and training are the three things that could really improve this establishment. I hope they see this post and take it to heart because they could be so much better than they were today or last Sunday! read more
