I've dined at this location before and it has been some months since the last time I've been here. The customer service was good but everything else from the cleanliness of the facility to the toppings available for the pizzas/salad was a below satisfactory. The main line had toppings every where all over the line and I could understand if they were busy but they weren't at all. When making my pizza they told me they were out of many of the vegetable toppings (onions, green peppers, corn, & mushrooms). I understand things aren't available due to covid but they could of at least change the pans and covered the line instead the line was filled with empty dirty pans. This location is just really dirty and if you let the line look like that where customers can see I can only imagine how the kitchen looks. read more

I do enjoy this spot. Great environment and I like the ability to custom make my pizza. Unfortunately, my last encounter had put a bad taste in my mouth in regards to Mod Pizzas service. The African-American heavyset female, with the Afro, wearing a green shirt, had the worst attitude. I had requested for extra ground beef and she was very reluctant to give me any extra ground beef. Afterward, she rolled her eyes anytime I speak. Furthermore, she let out an exaggerated gasp when I requested for pesto on the side. I was already having a bad day dealing with my mental health diagnosis. I downloaded the app awhile back and in January 2020 saw the promotion of buying up to 4 salads (MOD Size) and then in February getting up to 4 salads free. Today I redeemed 2 of my 3 free salads that I bought in January. Seriously? I mean it's lettuce and you can't fill the bowl up more than halfway? It's funny how each time I bought the almost $9 salad in January it was completely full of lettuce and ingredients and when I get the free ones, they are both filled up halfway. Me and my husband both got a Mod pizza (11inches) with as many toppings as we want. Grand opening today, so this place was really packed this evening. MOD Pizza serves it's fare Subway-esque style and is perfect for picky eaters like myself or for those who want every (sort of) topping imaginable - all for one price. I normally order my pizza one way no matter where I go and was highly disappointed that banana peppers were not included in their veggie lineup. Yes, this very small Capsicum annum detail does make or break my pizza so if a manager/corporate sees this, please add it! As for the overall taste and quality of our pizza, we both liked the artisan-style thin crust crispness achieved by the 800 degree gas-fired oven. Topping portions were a bit on the minimal side, so expect to be hungry again in a few hours. As for refreshments, their Marion Blackberry Lemonade was pretty good. Hubby didn't quite care for the Caramelized Pear Iced Tea and dumped it, preferring mine instead. Service was rushed with seemingly forced smiles as I'm sure they were all pretty overwhelmed with the never ending growing line. My final gripe is the "Finish It" girl at the end. My husband inquired about one of the finishing sauces and she had no clue what it was or even how to explain it. Hmm. I travel a lot for work and love MOD Pizza, I've probably have eaten at 40-50 different Mods throughout this great nation of ours. And I have to admit, this one was the absolute WORST one ever! It was very dirty with a group of thugs working there, tables were filthy and sticky, food all over the floor, the prep counter was a hot mess and the attitudes were horrible. Not sure why I didn't walk out as soon as I walked in. And don't ask for extra crispy, that thing was so burnt I ate about a half a slice then threw it out. Stay away from this one!! read more

Very rude, they seemed like we were an inconvenience to their restaurant. They did not help us with how to order the pizza, since were new customers. When asking for extras the lady who took our order responded with "I already told him" instead of clarifying that what we were wanting to order was apart of what she told us ! On a whim we dropped in for a pizza to see what everyone is raving about. What I noticed first is how they used a spike roller to perforate a thin crust. I had the meat lovers mini pizza. It's slid into the oven in front of you, right after they toss on all the toppings. The process is pretty cool to watch. The taste was excellent as well. You walk in and there are a TON of so fresh & delicious looking topping options laid out before you (more options than I've ever seen). You pick your sauce, toppings, then they bake it in a brick oven fire all right there in front of you. Afterwards you can choose from many different drizzles or finishes. It's about $7 for one pizza, of which I could barely finish half, and it tasted so clean, fresh, and healthy! The crust is delicious, the toppings are so fresh, the price is just right. Went in and was so disappointed with how this place has gone downhill. It was filthy inside and there were swarms of small black gnats circling the toppings/prep station. There were four employees working, but only one was actually working, the others were standing around talking and basically ignoring customers in line. A friend brought me here for the first time several months ago. I have since introduced multiple people to it. It is so amazing to get to have so many ingredients to choose from - - and you can have as many of each/all that you want. And the two of us eat a regular size pizza and have a drink for a total of $14 plus a couple dollars for a tip. Cheap! And it's the only place I have found in years that has anchovies. That just makes my week. The roasted vegetables, roasted garlic, multiple kinds of meats - - it's off the scale. And their blackberry lemonade?! I have never tasted anything like it, and it's low/sugar (but NOT artificially sweetened - - the blackberries do the sweetening), and it still tastes amazing! Ordered carryout. It was my first time, and I was very disappointed. It's combines subway service with a pizza joint. As far as pizza's go it was a mess. Toppings were not spread evenly. Far far far too much Pineapple and red bell peppers while the Raw (as in crispy) onions were used as a decoration rather than a topping (4 onion rings in total). The warm beef was tossed squarely in the center and The pepperoni wasn't fully cooked.Their oven must be malfunctioning. The crust is hot, but the top of the pizza, the toppings were raw and just warm. I asked for Asiago and sharp cheddar, but both seemed to be missing completely from the pizza. Also found a blonde hair on the edge of the pizza as an added bonus. The worst part is after eating it, I had indigestion for a good 6 hours. I don't know what ingredient they use that causes this, but it wasn't pleasant. Taste wise it was ok, but definitely no better than any other chain. I doubt if I order from there again. read more

I have given this MOD so many chances but every time I leave disappointed and angry. The customer service of the employees is practically nonexistent. The assembly line was messy and the employees seem annoyed to be helping you with requests. As we went to check out I told the cashier I'd like to use the Veterans Day coupon (bogo). She gets frustrated and cancels the order and slams the pin pad back around. When our pizzas were ready the lady slams down our pizza and doesn't say a word. We then asked for sauce..She seemed annoyed but got it for us. When she opened the pizza it was then realized that our pizzas had gotten mixed up with another order. So while we waited for that to be fixed she never once apologized. Left with cold pizza and bad service. I will never return here. I've emailed corporate over these issues and never gotten a response. If you want better pizza and employees that are friendly I recommend fire street pizza in belton. It is a bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion. Plus, you are supporting a small business and the atmosphere is better. read more
