There was about 4 crumbs of feta cheese and the sauce was so skimp that there was about 4 inches of crust in places. The toppings could be chopped smaller and put on with a bit more care by the employees so that's why it's not a five star, but that's being picky. This is the fastest and most affordable customizable pizza in town. Everyone in my family loves to go and we always have gotten great service. The balsamic fig reduction as a finisher is so Perfect. I think they have just about every topping you can think of, except anchovies? My go to is red sauce, basil, mozzarella, Asiago, bacon, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic cloves and salt and pepper. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This really was as good as it gets. Pizzas and salads can be ordered off the menu, or custom made. So you can design your meal to taste. Everything was fresh, or freshly baked. I take an art class nearby, so I ran in at 8:30pm to grab takeout dinner for two. I ordered one of the pizza specials and the featured seasonal salad, both in "mod" size, which is medium. The friendly, helpful, efficient staff made excellent suggestions for extra toppings (no charge) on both pizza and salad, and if all came together in about five minutes. On the drive home my car was perfumed with an amazing pesto-garlic fragrance, and we tore into our meal. It was fabulous. The medium salad and pizza were enough for a reasonable dinner for two, and cost only $16 (I added a tip because I felt the service was exceptional). It's going to be hard to stop myself from returning after class every Wednesday. OTOH, why bother avoiding something this excellent, and reasonable? Mod = magnificent pizza and salad! read more

MOD Pizza is as good as it gets. The pizza is super fresh and hot, thanks to their extremely hot oven, its done quick and toasty. They have a good variety of freshly acquired, locally sourced ingredients. Reasonably priced for their sizes, unlimited toppings, and the sauce swirl or for dipping in the end is an added bonus. Their freshly made Marion Blackberry Lemonade is a standout. I tried the Barbecue Chicken Pizza and their seasonal "Bob" Pizza. It was well done and great to gobble up while its hot. Mod Pizza is delicious but when the worker is drinking while handing out the pizza it doesn't look good. We visited Mod on a Sunday afternoon and the young man calling out names and handing the pizza to them was drinking something out of a cup. I'm pretty sure that's some health code violation as well. Not bad, but nothing spectacular here. MOD Pizza is one of those interactive, build your pizza assembly-line style concepts, where for one price based upon the size of the pizza you choose you can add as many toppings as you like. You have a choice of thin crust white or thin crust white. Okay, there is a gluten free crust option, too, but the menu has a disclaimer saying they can't guarantee that there isn't any cross-contamination so why even bother? The thin crust is probably a necessity in order to keep those pizzas moving in the oven, but it would be nice to have a wheat option. They have a handful of sauces, several cheeses, a pretty standard selection of meats, and a good variety of veggies to choose from. The toppings are of good quality, and the workers building the pizzas are generally pretty friendly. The pizzas come out fast and are perfectly satisfactory. For me, though, I think MOD Pizza will be best for those days where I'm verging on hangry and just want something fast and cheap ... but if I really have a hankering for delicious pizza, there are better places to go. read more

Very tasty pizza and salads. Love that you can customize your pizza any way you want. I personally get lots of artichokes, grilled chicken, and roasted red peppers on mine. Pizza is ready in 3 min, so don't be discouraged if the line is long. We've been twice since it opened and can't wait to go again. read more

My partner and I come here almost every Friday. We always have a pleasant experience coming here, but this last visit stood out. I have a dairy allergy and always get the dairy free (vegan) cheese on my pizza. This past visit, the man who was making my pizza (didn't ask his name but he had black hair and glasses), picked off a piece of regular cheese that fell onto my pizza without me asking. I work in the food industry too, I know cross contamination happens, so I know the risk with going out to eat with food allergies. I've seen cheese land on my pizza before on accident and it's not a big deal, I'm not going to die if I get a shred or two of regular cheese. I have wished to say something before like "please remove that one shred of mozzarella", but I'd literally rather die (get it..?) than be an inconvenience to the employees. So when this man did it voluntarily, without me saying anything, he was like my hero for a second. Made my night! Also, ALL the employees here are great, not just this guy -he just gets a special shout out. read more

I JUST had my first (and last!) MOD pizza. Seriously, I do NOT know what the fuss is about, except, maybe, they are the newest place to arrive from Seattle to make a buck off of Fort Collins. First, the pizza. It was "OK". Sure, it WAS fresh, and it WAS hot, but that is the LEAST I expect from any pizza place that I'll go back to. The crust was just "meh", and the toppings were few and far between. We got pepperoni with pineapple, and, I swear, the guy counted out 11 little pieces of pineapple! Of ALL the things to cheap-out on, WHY pineapple? And, with it being THIN CRUST ONLY, it does not go very far. We could have easily eaten one EACH. OH yeah . . . the pizza and salad were $13.25! I do not know how they expect to compete against "real" pizza places. My wife got the Caesar salad and said it was "good . . . really good". So, at least there was that. But $5 for for the little salad they served made it just irritatingly overpriced (to me). THAT could have been a place to shine, 'cause salads are really not so high-priced to make. $1.99 would have been much better, even if it had to be a loss-leader. Insult to injury, we JUST got home and saw an ad on TV for a LARGE 3-Topping pizza for $7.99 from a place we like. I have been in the food business since I was 14; knowing what it takes to get as far as they have, I'm surprised they don't do follow-up surveys of some sort, and take care of their basic problems. Of course, after just 6 months in The Fort, this story is still being told. Maybe they'll read this review and take it to heart. I hope so, 'cause who doesn't like a new pizza place opening? I went to this MOD Pizza yesterday and was mortified with the customer service I received. I work in the food industry and I would never speak to a customer the way that worker spoke to me. The woman giving me my online order was so utterly rude, it was shocking. When she found my pizza she handed it off to me and walked away without saying a word or apologizing for her actions. Then, when I payed, the man at the cash register, while was somewhat kind, did not apologize for his coworkers rude behavior (which I understand is not his responsibility, but as I work in the food industry, this is something I would have done). I understand these are weird times and I am sure they were busy...however, even if you are busy, that is not an excuse or reason to be rude to a customer. You can still get things done fast in a restauraunt without being disrespectful. Anyways, at least the pizza was really yummy and good. read more

This isn't the best pizza I've ever had (top tier, though), but in terms of quality, value, service, speed, and setting, this has become my go-to pizzeria in FOCO. The thin crust is chewy with just enough crispness along the edges. I love that I can get pesto, garlic, and fresh basil sprinkled on top of the marinara base. The meat options are pretty standard. The vegi selection is where MOD stands out. I go for arugula, artichokes, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, and olives. There are also a number of different cheeses to add. Did I mention that unlimited toppings are included in the price (about 8 bucks for an 11 inch pizza...bigger than a dinner plate)?!?! Even when the line is long, I generally get my pizza within 5-7 minutes after paying. Beer and wine is available, although I generally opt for the caramelized pear iced tea or marionberry lemonade. My family has demanded return trips every weekend since they opened! read more

I like thin crust; theirs could have been more flavorful but was better than thick, or undercooked, or tasteless versions that I have eaten elsewhere. The choice of sauces, cheeses, and toppings was excellent, and the red sauce was flavorful (unlike some other places). The place was very busy when I went on an early Friday evening, but service was quick. I liked the option of having two sizes of pies (the third "size" is really two mediums stacked on top of each other which seems weird). There's one standard price per size, no matter how many toppings you want, and the prices are reasonable. Don't expect to have a quiet, intimate conversation if the place is busy. read more

I was somewhat skeptical about trying this place. I had heard it was the "subway" of pizza. I thought to myself I don't really like Subway but I do like the idea of creating my own pizza. What I like most about this place is the service is wonderful and they do not charge for extra toppings. You pay a flat price for a mini a mod or a large pizza. On my trip I got a mod which was plenty filling! I was able to get both red sauce and pesto, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, and black olives. Then after your fresh pizza is put into a wood fired oven, you are asked for any sauces to top the hot pizza when it comes out like buffalo sauce, olive oil, pesto, etc. My family loved creating their own pizza and also their fun and inviting atmosphere. We also got shakes and floats (free refills) for only $3.27 (shakes) and $2.27 (floats) which is a great deal. The salads are also wonderful with endless toppings that are at no additional charge. We will be sure to be back and highly recommend this new FoCo eatery. read more

This place has potential, if it figures out what it is (fast food or not). The pizza I got was good (though maybe I got the wrong sauce), but one employee was extremely eager to get us out of there. My friend and I were finishing our meal 1 whole hour before closing when this employee started putting away chairs and cleaning up our table. We asked if they were closing and he said we had an hour to finish up. 15 minutes later, I have 1/2 my pizza left and get up to go to the bathroom, leaving my jacket behind. My friend gets up to refill her drink, but by the time we both return that employee has thrown out all of our food (which we were clearly still eating). I asked him where our food went, and he argued with me and said there was 'barely' anything left (3 out of 6 slices were). I decided to walk out at that point, but was severely disappointed at this disgruntled employee. Be a tad more flexible when closing, guy, especially at a new-ish business. I'll be telling my friends to go to Noodles or Chipotle if they want better service at a fast food place. read more
