My wife got the local favorite which for the life of me I can not remember the name. The Lemonade could have used some more water in the mix. It was pretty strong. Went there with my family, six of us, four adults two children. The food was good, not great, sure I'd go again but it wouldn't be to impress a date or a client. There were three teenagers working in the place, the service was slow but not terrible. All-in-all it was alright but not exceptional. Ordered online and picked it up. Something has changed drastically since my last visit. I ordered the crust extra crispy, what I got was over floured chewy crust that was in no way crispy at all. The pizza was bland and tasteless. The pizza was also poorly made, toppings and cheese way off center, leaving parts of the pizzas as mostly crust. Until this visit I had never had a problem. MOD is basically subway but with pizza. They let you build your own pizza (you get to choose the sauces, toppings, etc) and they make it in front of you. They have a TON of different toppings and sauces to choose from which is super dope--they even have broccoli as a topping option lol. They also have gluten free options if you're into that. If you get a drink definitely try the lemonades. My favorite is their blackberry The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because it was pretty dirty inside the restaurant. We have watched this restaurant plummet in almost every aspect over the past two plus years (post Covid) and it's simply inexcusable, especially considering that one of your competitors has gone out of business (Blaze.) the employees seem like they were more interested in sneaking out and smoking then they were taking care of the customers. The chintzy amount of ingredients that are put on the pizza is an obvious way to cut back on expenses and improve profitability, but the reality is, you're slowly killing your business one pizza at a time. the lack of attention to your customers needs is really sad, considering that you are in the restaurant business. Training, training, training. Higher slowly, fire quickly. You can turn this around, but it starts with training and quality people. read more

I gotta be honest. We usually love mod. My wife has allergies and they usually accommodate well. We ordered tonight and specifically asked for extra non dairy cheese on her pizza because the gluten free crust is dry as dirt. When you see the negative reviews of the service & management attitudes here, believe them. The first time we went for dinner, it was great. Yes, toppings were a bit skimpy, but you can order more of them to compensate for this, no big deal. Not the best pizza, but not bad. You know what they say about pizza! The second time we went, I asked for cups of oil/garlic with my cheese bread(was given to me the last time without a problem). This time a manager said "this is a business, we can't just give you things"....yeah, ok, I will pay for them, but that's the only way I like to eat it and were in a hotel, no easy way to procure my own) I was told there was no way to charge me(charge me for something else that's $2-3 & just give me the garlic & oil!!). It's not about the money, it's about my obsession with unGodly amounts of garlic! So we left with no food, no clue if I was charged for said food, but manager was NASTY. Went over to Panera....bought plain bread and they gave me garlic & oil-go figure(&I was still willing to pay!) I would NEVER go back to Mod pizza!! Highly recommend going elsewhere!! We ordered 5 pizzas for takeout. A 6" Mad Dog, perfect size for a 7 year old. The rest were 11 inches. One was the cauliflower crust, which was good but no near as delicious as their basic crust. Their pizza menu itself is limited but with the 'Create Your Own' that's not a problem. The vegetables were fresh, the sauce and cheese flavorful. I wouldn't recommend a pizza with ground beef, it was little hard, overcooked balls. Even the 7 year old wouldn't eat it. All in all we will definitely order takeout from them again. read more

I have had mostly good experiences with this place. I always order through a delivery app. The most recent order however, they ran out of a few of the toppings I asked for, and I was nice and said that it's okay, still send it anyway. They didn't apologize or seem to care. When my pizza arrived it was significantly smaller than normal, the toppings were clustered in one big blob in the center, and the box and receipt were dirty with sauce smeared all over it. I have been liking this place so I am bummed about what happened. MOD didn't seem to care at all. You can see from the "promise time" that I was supposed to get it by 9:22. By the time it arrived it was 9:53. The dirty box and receipt are honestly the part that gross me out the most. We went to eat out at 5:30 pm on a Monday 5/8/23. There was one other couple there. There were four workers. They totally ignored us and worked on online or doordash orders, without even saying "let us finish up these orders, it may be around 5-10 minutes then we will get to you"... nothing was said. Then, one employee got my pizza ready and then did more online orders then the other two people that I was with pizzas... I got my pizza out about 10 minutes prior to them. They could care less about customer satisfaction or service!! Food was ok but not the best... they didn't try to carry on a conversation with customers. They didn't care that you were there! I never go in anymore because it's been absolutely filthy inside every time I've gone in. Today for dinner I ordered via DoorDash. I ordered three pizzas. One of which was supposed to be a cheese pizza with garlic rub instead of tomato sauce (I'm allergic to tomatoes) with oregano sprinkled on top. What did I get? Cheesy breadsticks. DoorDash refunded my money even though the mistake was not theirs. This isn't the first bad experience I've had with MOD either. This is my wife and I's favorite pizza place in Idaho Falls. If you haven't had Mod Pizza before, it is a build-your-own pizza with as many toppings as you like for the same price. You also can get pre-built pizzas for great combinations. You select your sauce, toppings, and extras, and then the pizzas are cooked in a stone fire pizza oven. Typically the entire process takes between 5 and 10 minutes from arrival to enjoying great pizza. I typically get a mod-sized pizza with regular sauce mixed with a little spicy sauce. I also get mozzarella, feta, ricotta, chicken, pepperoni, sausage, spicy sausage, diced tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. At around $9 for a pizza, it's a great deal. My wife and I can split a pizza for lunch, or get our own if we are particularly hungry. P.S. The "No Name Cake" is divine. read more

I have been to this restaurant for the past several weeks at different times. The place is VERY DIRTY. Floors are nasty, tables filthy, I wipe up the counter at the drink station every time. I go there. Today was the last time employee wearing gloves at the pizza dough and topping he touch his face, clothes and then was going to stick his hands in the toppings to top a pizza. I said change your gloves before you stick them in the food reference to him touching himself. Manger who is covered in food on his clothes looking like a toddler in a beard with no facial hair cover jumped on me saying he is new, I responded with, well then it's a great time to teach him food handling. My favorite part about this place is the quality of their toppings. Mod pizza tastes more pure and less processed compared to most other pizza restaurants. They don't charge extra for toppings and their variety for creating your own pizza gives you a lot more options than other places. Does it taste as good as a $50 meal from the best place in town, no. But in my opinion it still deserves 5 stars read more
