If you read nothing else, know that there is NO ONE better than TradeMark and Vasilios!! They are incredible and we can't be any happier!! Vasilios came to our house three times to ensure that what we envisioned would become our reality and it did! He spent well-over two hours on two separate occasions with us in his showroom which had every possible combination of quartz, cabinetry, backsplash and flooring. He then helped us re-design our family room. He had samples of everything and showed us what everything would look like together. He also used 3D modeling to show us how it would look. The renditions were perfect. Marvin and Mike from TradeMark Construction whom did the work were equally as amazing! The quality of their work and attention was to detail was perfect. They too were great to work with. They were friendly and punctual. Vasilios communicated regularly with us during the entire five weeks. He also came onsite regularly to ensure everything was just right and to support his team and us. He walked through personally with a punch list upon completion to ensure it was flawless (and it was)! Everyone Vasilios brought in from the plumber to electricians were incredible. It's an old house, with a tight space, and an endless amount of obstacles to overcome in order to pull it off. We interviewed about 6 contractors and collected a number of quotes. A few contractors were not up to the task, while a few came back with either extraordinarily high or absurdly low quotes- and all of them had wonky solutions that seemed impractical. Then came Dominic. Dominic came in with a creative mind. His experience and expertise allowed him to problem solve and come up with a fantastic solution that met all of our needs, and more wants that we could've hoped for. Even more, his quote made sense. He wasn't the cheapest, or the most expensive, but he was fair. Due to a medical issue, there was a massive delay on our end getting started, yet Dominic remained flexible. Once we were finally underway, I was floored at how quickly he and his team worked. They showed up every day, on time, and worked precisely and efficiently. We were dreading having people in our home for several weeks, but his team was lovely to have around! They were polite, kind, helpful, and most importantly, skilled. I was working on several side projects (painting, refinishing cabinets, etc) and they always jumped in to help if they saw me struggling to carry something or lift something heavy. Every day they left the space cleaner than they found it. Not only are they skilled, it is clear they have an incredible work ethic and are just kind people. During the project, we wanted to change the scope a few times by adding in some flooring and a few other things that shifted the project a bit. Once again, Dominic remained flexible. He was there to offer advice- both in helping us stay within budget, while not compromising quality. And despite expanding the scope mid-project, he and his team only needed a few additional days to complete those requests. I've never hired a contractor for this scale of project before and I've heard all of the nightmares about poor quality work, lack of communication, surprise project fees, and delays in completion. We experience none of that with Top Notch Contractors. Dominic and his team delivered everything they promised and more. There were no billing surprises at the end of the project and even though we were satisfied with everything, he and his team were still touching up little things as they were walking out of the door. If you're looking for the Goldilocks of contractors- one who is skilled, fairly priced, and delivers on their promises, you can't go wrong with Dominic at Top Notch Contractors. My father now has a safe & beautiful space and we could not be more grateful.

I gave a lot of grace in the beginning due to time constraints that were outside of the company, but soon started to see that the GC was the problem. I was told the project was going to take 3-months - it took about 8 months to complete and I'm still waiting on some items. A lot of work had to be redone due to it being installed improperly or sloppy work. I expressed how I wanted things to go and the contractor did their own thing. I issued the last check with the impression that they would come back to fix my shower because on the best day the water is hot for maximum of 2 minutes and cold after that . I haven't heard from the contractor in months. I've called, emailed, spoken to the assistant that said they would call back but haven't. I would not recommend this company at all. They lack customer service and follow thru, the work has been subpar and it's a struggle finding someone with good work ethic and integrity

I agree with the other 3 star review person. None of the workers doing the construction work for Dfine. In fact one of them told us no habla ingles, indicating he only spoke Spanish. Highly suggest you find any other firm to do the actual construction. I've never had an issue with Brothers Services or Tim Kyle Electric. If you want the job done right you need a firm that has employees who are vested in the project results and speak English. Dfine's use of contractors that don't work for Dfine is a mistake from the outset. We had delays and eventually had to negotiate a final payment since not all work contracted for was completed or some services were overpriced after checking with other firms. And some work for which I requested a quote so I could check with another firm was simply done without providing a quote for which I had to pay extra for. And Ahmet, while an owner, was never a project manager. In fact there was no project manager watching over daily work. Allied Remodeling at least offers that, where one of the owners reviews the daily work and any communications. I did eventually outsource some of the work to trusted firms like Tim Kyle and Anderson Windows. Did I pay more? Yes. Did I get the work that I expected? Yes. If Dfine somehow convinces you to go with their work crew, insist that David is the primary person who deals with the work. Still not a project manager, but a cut above the rest of what they have to offer. Anyone else is a joke. The design work done by Dfine was thoughtful. The construction could have been much better. And a word about what you think you want. Marble on any part of the remodel looks great. It is however cold as hell to the touch. In the kitchen during winter the counter tops are always cold. And try backing into a cold wall in the shower. It can be shocking. You may want to consider alternatives. There are plenty of firms that can get work done in a day without using marble. My upgrade from the 1960s was better than it was. Not perfect.

It was a bathroom gut and remodel, same footprint, no real changes. I would have used my Dad, but he's getting on in age now. Just a few of the 1000s of issues I had: - Stored the demo ON MY DECK, ruining the deck while charging me for a removal dumpster. - The final tub shower never had the drain plug attached (behind the wall) so baths couldn't be taken. - Mis-drilled holes in brand new tile, covered up to place glass doors. - Finishing work was HORRIFIC, Helen Keller could have done better. Huge globs of caulk, thick seams where there should be none. - Job took over 2+ weeks, putting me, my kids and dogs into a hotel. - Floor tile set uneven and grout work never cured. - Upon initial demo, never capped off the sink drain, shooting water across my floor when I came home. A certified plumber would have NEVER done that. - I had to make runs to Home Depot for the proper parts FOR THE WORKERS. I have TONS of photos and if I can, I will attach to this review. We needed to flip the shower and tub area in order to have enough space for an ADA compliant rolling shower. Bath Boutique accomplished the remodel with class and style. I sat and read all the reviews but there was something about this company that felt right to me. I called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Ruslan came out. I found him to be very warm and professional. We did a walk through and within days i was sent an estimate. After reviewing the estimate, i decided to go with them and signed a contract. The first day on the job they showed up on time and was ready to work. So much was done within the first week. These guys are very hard workers and they wasted no time when doing their job. There were several hiccups with the plumber and electrician but they were very patient. Ruslan is very meticulous at what he does. I felt very comfortable knowing that we shared something in common. I liked the fact that he allowed me to express my ideas and was open to changes throughout the project. The previous company wouldn't allow me to make changes.
