Plumbing issue caused foundation to be cut into

We built a home with Mobley in 2018/2019. It was not a good experience at all. We had problem after problem before, during and after construction. I would not recommend this builder to anyone. We have been in our home 5 months and have had constant issues with almost every trade in the house. Mobley ruined what should have been a wonderful experience.

I'm sorry but I would not recommend this builder. I purchased my home one year ago in August 2018 and still do not have everything completed that was in the 3 page addendum from the walk through. It has been one thing after another....... Oh they never have roof leaks! Yes they do! And the A/C contractor blames the roofer, the roofer blames the A/C contractor and you, as the home owner are stuck in the middle with nasty ceilings and dry wall until they fight it out. Just make sure you get everything fixed before you close that is my suggestion if considering a Mobley Home.... Watch out for and get what you paid for- final cleaning, doors close and open property (pocket doors, front doors, barn doors, cabinet doors), check the showers to make sure water drains properly, tubs are not scratched, paint at top edges where cuts are match the rolled areas, have an electrician check all outlets (some of mine were dry walled over), check fake dormers if you have them that there are no cracks in stucco, check seams in crown molding shoe molding and baseboards, check the interior doors for sanding/smooth surfaces, check installation of all appliances, get down on your hands and knees and look under cabinets in kitchen you may be surprised how upgraded cabinets are not always finished as they should be. Look under the window frames to make sure the dry wall is finished there, look at the dry wall around door frames to make sure is finished and does not have 3 inch gaps! Insist on gutters all the way around and down spouts that extend away from the home. Don't rely on a home inspection, but get one! Don't be rushed in the walk through and make sure EVERYTHING IS WRITTEN DOWN ON THAT PAPER IF YOU CLOSE WITH AND ADDENDUM.

Please be very careful with this company. Make sure that you research them well prior to hiring…read morethem. They are extremely nice almost Manatee like creatures when planning and signing for your new home. But the second you complain about their lack of professionalism and quality of work they turn into the devil himself! I can tell you that they are lazy. They started our project three months After we signed the paperwork. There has been 10 Days 30 days and 28 days where no one has shown up! They like to do one contractor at a time. They could have been several contractors working at the same time. We asked for things we didn't get and we got thing we didn't know about or want! They are very cunning when it comes to inflating the price of your home without letting you know. For instance, we wanted French door for our house 80 by 80 would have been fine. They put 9 ft doors. Front and back. I'm not Shaquille O'Neal I am tall, but I'm not 7 foot tall! Damn! It was supposed to be maybe one step coming in to the home and now there are two to three! Dawn, whom we are in contact with at the main office has some personal issues that need to be worked out! As her sale guy Dan, said she like to play tit for tat! Dan is no angel in this whole ordeal! He has misguided use the entire way making assurances he had no power to make, and now we know, because dawn told me he is just the sales guy! We should have told them to get lost from the get go when Dan the sales guy showed up to our house on empty ( no gas in his jeep!) and I gave home 5 gallons of gas! Which he never attempted to pay back! And also another time we had to meet home to look at one of there homes, his phone died and he didn't have a charging cord and I just happened to have a new iPhone cord which he never paid for either. Just with that we should have said no, but we didn't. Now we are left disliking our builders because we questioned the quality of two of their contractors. This is something anyone paying for a Half $1 million home should question! Images of 9 ft doors plus depressions in final grading! Either they don't know how to grade or they ran out of dirt! But, they are professionals! Here are some of the issues we had to deal with! Some they fixed. Some they polished! Since the floors are even they are sanding the concrete down to the rocks to make them even! Which is creating dust throughout the house! It's almost comical!

We were left with horrible problems we had to fix because after many times we were told NO by their mistakes. They screwed up cabinets- particle board. Not even real, left stickers for months, writing everywhere. They did not fix the problems we had after completion. Plumbing overflows. Windows uneven. Floors coming up. They said "no not our problem anymore" absolutely ridiculous business. Chandelier they swore they'd fix and then David said fuck you because they messed up and were stuck. After I have MANY emails showing they'd fix THEIR fault of installing. The owner, David, attacked my husband because of his political views. He wrote things in our porta potty like a child about politics. He cussed my husband AND ME out many times. His family clearly knows he's a mess and tried hard but they were stuck between him and us as a client who provides them a living. David said incredibly harsh things to us and I have all emails. They screwed up our home and I regret everyday using them. I am grateful for OTHER contractors fixing everything. DO NOT USE GJ Gardener!!!!!!!
