From his first home visit where he explained everything to me, accessed my physical needs, but more importantly listened to what I needed to improve the quality, comfort and ease of my life. It was not easy since Medi-cal and all the hoops you need to jump through make it a real challenge. When the day came for JJ to deliver my scooter, it was only made better by his wonderful, genuine and friendly attitude. He took the time to make sure I knew how to use all the features, how to take it all apart, and that it was adjusted to my size. He also explained what to do if I had any problems or concerns or questions. If you could duplicate anyone in customer service this is the man. He should be the spokesperson for quality care!! We got a referral from my grandmothers doctor for a wheelchair. Once we got the approval from her insurance. I called right away to Mobility Solutions and spoke to Julie. She was very patient, super nice and answered all of my questions over the phone. She even called back the next day as she promised and told me they had a wheelchair available for my grandmother. She booked the 1pm appointment with JJ. Upon arrival we got there 30 minutes early but had to wait a little because JJ was on lunch but within 10 minutes. He came out to the car and told us that he is ready for us. He didn't have to stop his break for us but he did! I admire the customer service from him and it was a Quick service! JJ was very professional, friendly, adjusted the footstep for my tiny 4 foot 9 grandmother. He answered all of my questions regarding how the wheelchair worked and mechanism of it. He did not rush us at all which I love. Overall the staff I encounter that day was super nice! Very spacious building they have. They have a bathroom and a small waiting area. Plenty of parking spots around. I highly recommend this business to anyone that needs a wheelchair. They have soooo much to choose from and can custom make it for you. read more

Before I came in , I was having issues with my personal scooter, I did took my scooter to another location different company, the issue was full battery but I kept getting the warning lights about low charge , I called to set an appointment everyone was very friendly n helpful, they found the electric issue fast they explained the problem n fixed, one of connections was lose , I'm happy the issue was solved, I will definitely set an appointment if I have any other issues, I do relive on my scooter because I can't walk on my own, Thank you read more

They did me WRONG!!! I have 2 un curable health problems and 6 serious health issues and my Dr. Put a referral for a mobility scooter, I live downtown S.D and less than 30 days Mel called me on July 13th . 2024 and on July 15th they delivered it. . When I saw it I told J.J. that it was not a suitable scooter for my disability's , He said I had no choice. Well I soon learned that the scooter is indoors only, and when I cross the train tracks the wheels get stuck. I weigh140 and it's been 4 months and my entire body is in extrem pain that I can not go out as I want. Don't even go t,they have bad service Ted told me they have a selection of strollers is a lie they have only one for show and he showed me the other picture of another company . He took only 5 min with me he was rush . The manager don't care either . They have other car seat only showed me one until I saw one on Facebook and they they do carry that brand . One more thing the said the convivid stoller does not have any accessories that I have to buy them separate ,I had another friend got a stroller from special care it includes all accessories she had a good experience . My brother been with mobility solutions for quite some time, and we have to say that they are one of the best mobility companies to work with. Everyone here is very nice and helpful whenever you need help with a service set-up or getting approval for parts for repairs. Jose Hererra, one of their experts/technicians is a master at his craft! Always carefully completing the repair with an eye for details and aesthetics. We have been waiting for a company to help us with a threshold ramp for over two years now, and Mobility Solutions and Jose specifically was the only one that made it happen. Our insurance provider assigned us to this place to fulfill our authorization for a medical bed for our son. Let me explain that with our insurance provider (Tricare) they do NOT authorize something they won't pay for. It's just not how our insurance works. As a military family we needed this order to go through quickly as we are in the stages of moving and who knows how long it could take to get a bed once we move. Yet, when we called today to order the bed I was told by some woman that Tricare doesn't cover beds. Ma'am no offense but I think I know my insurance pretty dang well after having a special needs son for so many years. I explained to her that Tricare along with our extension of benefits with Echo would indeed cover the bed and the authorization is proof of that. She refused to believe me at all and stated that this company is denying all Tricare patients, which is funny since they are one of only 2 companies in this area to provide the bed and both companies accept Tricare. So I called Tricare to find out if what she said had any merit and guess what? It doesn't Tricare does indeed cover beds and this company either just doesn't want to deal with tricare or doesn't have any desire to help patients. Either way this company has wasted our time and directly lied to us versus tell us why they really won't accept Tricare and military families. read more

I agree that things go slow but all of the delays have been my Doctor's office and the insurance company. Mel and Julie have been fantastic and have always called to give me updates. I'm changing insurance companies and won't be able to work with Mobility Solutions which bums me out. I've been coming to Mobility Solutions for almost 25 years and got my last 5 wheelchairs from them. The last two chair I got were a Quickie 5R and Quickie P222 SE, which I needed some special adaptations put on it and Rink and Rick made sure that everything I ordered was on the chair when I received it. When it comes to letters of justification for certain things needed on a wheelchair, these guys are off the charts the best! When I have questions about things like insurance coverage for my wheelchairs, Mel is the one I usually get the best answers from and when I need to schedule repairs, Carmen is always courteous on the phone and gets me hooked up as soon as possible and is willing to work around my schedule. When I need my wheelchairs repaired, Jaime, Kevin and Rink know their way around my chairs and get me back in the game very quickly. I was looking forward for a nice 3 day stay ay the Manchester Grand Hyatt because of the invitation I received from Auto Club. But in my haste I had forgotten my walker due to a knee operation. When I arrived at the hotel I mentioned that I truly needed a walker or a scooter to get around the hotel for my meeting. Nick at the bell hop station highly suggested Mobility and gave me their number and to talk to Geno. I called twice and left a message of contact but to NO avail there was NEVER a response. My PAIN was so unbearable that night I had to cut SHORT my stay at the hotel. Afterwards when checking out the following morning due to PAIN , walking around the hotel with NO support, I advised the hotel why I was leaving so SOON due to no response from Mobility. Within 15 to 30 minutes AFTER checking out Mobility calls me for their services. Geno literally stole our money. We pre-paid for a chair rental and had to cancel 2 days prior to our trip to San Diego. He said he'd refund our money immediately. Five weeks and several promises later from him, NO refund. He also had the audacity to yell at me, and told me I was being impatient. This man lies through his teeth and is horribly mean. The next day I was getting ready to order the part, she tells me that she was mistaken with the price and that the real price is $138 coz' it didn't include S&H. That's $50 just to ship. Overall not the happiest with the service we received. 1. Everything moves really SLOW. 2. We told our rep that we would be purchasing the e-motion wheels regardless of insurance approval and when I finally got frustrated with how long it was taking they offered to courtesy bill until approved by insurance to get the ordered placed sooner. 3. When they ordered my husbands e-motion power assist wheels they failed to ask us if we wanted any of the options that were available. I think that when you order something so expensive that they would ask especially after my husband ordered such specific features on the wheels that came with his chair like ergonomic grips and blue tires etc. read more

Regrettably, I have to revise my review :-(. Needed some supplies (seat covers, break handle covers) and emailed to get pricing. After several additional emails, 2 MONTHS later... nothing. Not even a "try Amazon, we focus on the big stuff." I see a HUGE opportunity for a small business person, because all these medical supply places apparently are horrible. Is it the paperwork? Worst customer service ever. If you want to be treated like a number, then this is the company you want to call. We received the Pronto scooter 2 years ago and the thing keeps falling apart. I would never recommend buying that brand. Jazzy is much better. It's been over two weeks since our service call, and we are still waiting for them to get the parts to fix.
