Matt is a knowledgeable, professional, caring PT. He knows his trade, knows the orthopedic doctors' reputations.

The service was quality, but the exercises were strenuous. They need to gear the exercises with age in mind. Also, didn't appreciate the go home and do the exercises with no table. Can't get up from the floor. The p.t. knew his stuff. Was cordial and respectful. They Just need to keep in mind the age and mobility or non mobility of the person. read more

Went for a first appointment and Matt seemed to go through the motions of bending my knee and told me it may hurt even more. He then talked about a torn meniscus which I think should be diagnosed by a doctor. Then all he had to offer was three pages of stretching exercises. Everyone else in the room seemed to be getting hands on care. They must have better insurance then me. Not happy. I mentioned that other reviews talked about deep tissue massage and he flat out denied doing any type of touch healing therapy. What a joke. Office building is right over the 5 freeway so maybe people there are breathing too many fumes. Don't go if you want comprehensive care or someone who cares at all. read more

The minute you walk in the door at Mobility Physical Therapy, you are treated like family. The entire staff really goes out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. They treated me several years ago while I suffered from severe back pain. Prior to him, I sought out other forms of treatment (chiropractic, acupuncture and another physical therapist). Between the onsite treatments (only 2-3 times) and prescribed exercises, my back was on its way to recovery. Recently, our family returned to Mobility PT for our daughter who is a travel softball player suffering from tendonitis of the pectoral scapula and rotator cuff. The first initial appointment was the evaluation where I brought in all of my MRIs and backup paperwork for their review of past injuries. I also reviewed verbally with the Therapist how some of the injuries occurred. The second visit was 1/2 hour and we just reviewed my list of injuries again. The same therapist forgot everything from the week prior and asked me for the MRI results and imaging, but I already gave that last week. No one took the time to review my medical records. We did NO exercises, no hot/cold therapy, no massage - just talked for 2 sessions. I live in constant pain, too bad no one at Mobility Physical Therapy cared. They also overcharge me my copayment and although it was their mistake, they only wanted to credit for future appointments. I was not impressed, but left dissatisfied and would rather find a caring therapist that is well informed. read more

I'm giving Mobility Physical Therapy five stars because I've been to numerous physical therapy locations in Orange County in the past for different areas of my body and the therapy I'M RECIEVING from Mobility tops any other location. the professionalism, the quality of care, and the knowledge of the human body are impressive. I was given my treatment by Grant, who listened to my concerns and addressed each area with strength and precision. After a concentrated workout, I was iced and excused, feeling actually much better. A friend referred me to Mobility Physical Therapy two months ago. I was seeing a chiropractor for excruciating lower back pain and it became worse, I got sciatica and could barely walk or drive. I made an appt with MPT and was able to get in right away! This was my first time seeing a physical therapist so I had no idea what to expect. The care I received was tremendous! Matt is patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. He explained every stretch before having me do them and sent me home with a packet of illustrated demonstrations of stretches to do on my own. Within a few days, the lower back pain and sciatica was gone. I continue to go once a week. My posture has improved too. The entire staff is professional and friendly. I have been going to the facility in Irvine for a month now. Coming in after my 3rd knee surgery and having used a handful of other therapist I have to say these guys are awesome. Dr. Terry is knowledgable yet personable. His hands on approach along with the electrotherapy, ultrasound and exercises have me thinking I'll come out of this surgery better then the last. I walked into Mobility Physical Therapy with no expectations as this was my first introduction to Physical Therapy. I have three points of serious pain and was introduced to Jasmine Diaz who took time to explain what she was doing each and every time and how each exercise would begin to strengthen my muscles and eventually help ease the pain. What a great experience it has been. I never felt uneasy and every visit she has been patient with me and always held a sense of professionalism as well as having a friendly attitude with exceptional bed side manner. My grandmother was recently referred to their office. There have been a couple of instances where my grandmother could not make her appointments (she is in her 70s and has diabetes). We were given a time to reschedule same day, and the only thing the young man said to me was "Please come in after 1, because we are at lunch from 12 to 1." Come 2 o'clock when we were heading out, he called back to say that they were discharging her and sending her referral back to her primary because he had said "at 1". There is an obvious difference between "at 1" and "after 1". Why would I miss a second appointment the same day- it was a huge pain getting that referral in general. Good to know that the staff there does not know the difference in telling time, nor do they have a decent manner of speaking. Thank you for canceling my grandmothers referral because she had to reschedule twice on account of being ill. I wasn't aware that working her knees out mattered more than her other ailments. read more

Matt is a godsend if you have an injury that won't go away. More specifically, he is a genius at finding the exact spot that hurts when I don't even know where it is. Then he goes to work on it pushing & squeezing that spot to death. After ultrasound, they ice it with this electric shocking therapy. You walk out numb not knowing but then, a day or 2 later it is obvious you forgot about the pain because it improved very noticeably. He also teach you how to keep it away. This is my 3rd go round with him. The first was carpal tunnel - I still use his exercise to keep it away since I am still on the computer all the time. The second time was my knee. I was seriously considering a surgery or stem cell treatment. Not any more after Matt worked on it. This time it was a mysterious foot injury that I couldn't put weight on. I thought for sure it had to be fractured or broken. Except the pain is not all the time. It hurt more when I play soccer. Well, one visit & I played the next day (today) and it feels great. I am so happy I had to get on Yelp & tell the world. If you play a sport & need attention on an injury, talk to Matt. He can't fix everything (I am guessing) but you will know in your first visit. read more

After my first session with Matt I noticed a difference in my range of motion in my elbow. This PT facility concentrates a lot on manual therapy to help you return to your normal routine. I first became aware of Mobility Physical therapy, Inc., as a result of a rotor cuff injury over two years ago. Matt, owner of this facility evaluated me for their PT services and developed an effective program that resulted in my full recovery without the dreaded "frozen shoulder" syndrome, a possible consequence of this problem. Over three weeks ago, I was advised by my nerve conduction MD to seek a PT for a treatment program. As I live in South Orange county, I researched other, closer facilities in order to "save" on gas. I realized after five interviews with other PT facilities that I was being, "penny wise, but pound foolish" For various reasons, I rejected all the other facilities from south county. One had two much drama in it, people running out of the office crying, one had a continuing dispute as to how my insurance would cover my treatment. It was obvious that this firm was more concerned with their payment than my treatment and care. Another PT firm had a sign pemanently etched in the name plate of their facility regarding the inability of the consumer to wear any perfume, aftershave etc. inside their offices. I didn't go in as I had used deoterant that day. The other facilities I interviewed, could not or would not give me a straight answer as to whether my insurance would cover my costs, whether I would have a co-pay due, whether I was entitled to home visits, or whether they could or would take my provider, Bristol Park/Memorial care referral. I looked at this consense, and I ran, actually drove within the speed limit back to Mobility Physical therapy, Inc. Matt, has again evaluated me and we will start my new treatment plan for my fascet syndrome this next monday. P.S. I will be wearing deoterant. Matt is the consumate professional and I plan to stay with his organization for any of my present or future PT needs. Nicole, is very nice in the office and has been with the company for many years. My daughter needed physical therapy after an accident and she was on the Meh/OK rating for her therapy. Me on the other hand would NEVER use them for therapy again. I was fine with the therapist, however, the billing department was and continues to be a nightmare to this day from an accident that happened over a year ago! I was told my insurance company had stated they wouldn't pay for further visits per the billing office of MPT and requested I call the insurance company to seek approval before we continued...which we did. Unfortunately, they did not remove our appointment and subsequently they charged us a missed appointment fee. Upon calling about the miss communication, they would not relent and happily added a late fee to my bill...mind you my bill was completely paid in full and we always showed up on time & regularly for all appointments. If I practiced this in my medical office I would eventually have patients leaving like flies, bad move MPT! Poor customer service and not a repeat customer or referrals for future business because of it. read more

We are a family of athletes with our share of injuries and surgeries. Over the years we have changed insurance forcing us to go elsewhere for service. Can't be compared. I recently had labrum rotator cuff surgery that literally froze due to insufficient PT at another provider. The pain was excruciating and miserable for months!! I actively changed my insurance provider from Monarch to Memorial Care just to be able to go back to the experts. Matt and crew are conscientious and eager to make you better. They take their time working on you and truly want you to get better. My shoulder improved in record time. I have visited Mobility on a few occasions before my back surgery and also after surgery over the past 5 years . My doctor recommended Mobility as it is a Hands on by all the therapists, not just go in and stretch yourself. I can do that at home. When I visit they care as to how they can help and ask me what and where it hurts. The doctors referral can give them an over view but only the patient can explain what is really happening with there body. I may be in pain while they are working on me, and sometimes I am, but I understand that when I walk out of the office I am closer to being in less pain. I mostly enjoy listening to all of the staff talking to each other in a respectful manner. They all kid around and laugh amongst themselves as well as the patients. In my eyes the most paramount thing to them I feel is patients care. I thank everyone for there kindness and helping me with my recovery. read more

I have been to numerous physical therapist during my adult life. Most just give you exercises, do ultra sound and electrical stimulation. Matt and Darren do deep tissue massages that help loosen up the muscles resulting in less pain. I have been there for three separate injuries and they have helped me all three times. Most recently I came in with a pinched nerve in my neck and my pain is half what it was when I started seeing them five weeks ago. I feel confident that it will go away entirely with a few more weeks of their highly specialized therapy. About five years ago, I saw them after a car accident in which I was rear-ended. After two months of intesive therapy, I was pain free. I highly recommend this team of professionals. Furthermore, they don't "nickle and dime you" like a lot of other places.
