I was previously at UCI PT and had been recommended by one of my doctors to start going here to help with my hypermobility . I also have POTS and mild ME/CFS. Rachel is my physical therapist and from the beginning very thoughtful in her care, I mentioned some of the challenges I have with my ME/CFS & right away she let me know if my light sensitivity was acting up I could do my exercises in one of their rooms with the light turned off & if my fatigue acted up she could show me modifications. I luckily have been doing pretty good so far so I've been able to keep to the exercise plans. I used to get a lot of neck pain from being hyper mobile but after about 2 months my neck pain pretty much is gone it doesn't really act up where previously I was having lots of issues. I also feel like I'm improving more & faster than I did at my last PT place. I'd definitely recommended going here if you need PT.

I had a recommendation for therapist Matthew Tjandra PT, DPT with Mobile Therapy Specialists, a company that provides in home physical therapy which is extremely convenient. Matt was professional, personable and very knowledgeable about back issues and muscle systems. He answered all my questions related to back issues, and developed a series of exercises for me to directly treat the affected muscle groups. Most importantly, Matt guided me on how to do the exercises the right way. This one-on-one treatment with a licensed professional for the entire session was very helpful and created a continuity of treatment over multiple sessions. I will continue the exercises post therapy, and have already experienced significant back pain relief. Imagine this- you walk into their newly remodeled clinic and you're greeted warmly by Hannah. You have a great conversation with her before your session begins and you feel genuinely welcomed to their facility. Next, your physical therapist takes you to the treatment area and you dive right in to all the aches and pains. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alexia. She's smart and inquisitive, and she got right down to the root of the issue I was experiencing. I felt as though she was incredibly thorough, ensuring that I walked out of the session feeling better than I did when I walked in. If you're someone like me who has more of a nagging injury, (less of an injury that requires surgery), you'll likely feel 1000% better once you get off that treatment table. Unlike other clinics I've visited, the session isn't a rushed 30 minutes, it's generally a full hour for the manual therapy techniques and corrective exercises. Once you graduate from the clinic to the gym, you'll likely work with Kyle who is an incredibly kind and talented strength coach, and clinic manager. I asked to change the pillows cases , before they start my treatment . Maxine, my therapist, got upset with me. No personality. I had a felling that she doesn't care. I ask Holly, how often they change the pillow cases. Her answer was " every 3 days " I am not comfortable with that, and after calling my insurance, there answer was "That is unacceptable, with the COVID and flu season again ". Victor is the owner, Arlene is the manager I hope they will take in consideration my concerns and will protect ALL the patients in the future. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
