This store has a good variety of durable medical supplies, orthopedic and diabetic shoes, braces, walkers, wheelchairs, scooters and more! The owner was on site when we went in to check things out and we loved how attentive and genuine he was in helping us learn about the store and their services. Parking is available in the front lot, or around back of the store. There are two wheelchair accessible spots out front. The store is open, bright and very clean, with room to easily maneuver a wheelchair. Items are clearly marked and the staff are kind, patient and willing to assist. They make the process of selecting diabetic shoes so much easier because they take care of all the paperwork with your doctor and your insurance company, and they are the only store of its kind who travel to clients anywhere in South Carolina! You also have the option to go in and buy items out of pocket if you choose, at reasonable rates. This location is conveniently situated accross from the hospital and next to a medical clinic.

I had already put a lift in my car, but didn't have a bracket for the lift to hook onto the scooter. He said he was going to order me one. Two weeks later I call to inquire about the bracket. He said he hadn't had time yet to talk to his boss. Another week goes by and he says they have no brackets. There aren't any even available to order. So, I send away for a bracket. Hey, there ARE BRACKETS OUT THERE TO ORDER!!! The bracket gets here and he's going to come out to put it on, but he never shows up. He FINALLY calls me back, after I've sent many texts and tried calling him. He says he hadn't had time more important things to do(baby mama was taken to the ER) and wasn't able to call me back. He FINALLY shows up to put on the bracket and finds a small bolt is missing. Says he can't put it on. I ask if he's got these parts in his truck, or can get them, he says no, and leaves. I go to Home Depot and have one of the men help me find the right size screw, and I end up ordering it. I put it in the bracket and call him to see if he can now come and put the bracket on the scooter and then help me relearn how to get it in the car. He shows up, puts the bracket on, but I can tell he's in a hurry and impatient. We get the lift hooked up to the scooter, but something is wrong as the scooter is dangling with the front end down and will not fit into the back of the car. I'm trying to see what's wrong, asking him questions, and he tells me he's got to go he has other customers. I say, "IM YOUR CUSTOMER,". He answers, "Other PAYING customers!" I say, "I AM a paying customer. I purchased this scooter from you, and you told my husband and I that you would come to service it(put the bracket on) any time. NO CHARGE!" He literally walked away, got in his van and pulled off while my scooter is hanging out of the back of my car. A neighbor(we live at Album Huntersville 55+ community) heard this exchange and was coming to cuss him out. We were looking at the scooter(she was wanting to get one) and I realized he had put the bracket on BACKWARDS, and that's why it wasn't lifting up straight. Bottom line, DO NOT BUY FROM OR WORK WITH ZAY! He lies, he doesn't return phone calls or call you back, and he apparently has no idea what he's doing. As I found out, he will leave you stranded, no qualms about it!!
