I asked for them to replace the cracked digitiser (glass) on my iPad mini when visiting the shop (£55). To cut a long story short, after 4 visits over 8 working days find the iPad mini is actually in worse condition than when I gave it to them - a crack on the corner screen probably caused by a trapped cable or something pushing one side of the home button and not making all of the glass flush.
This was not noticed as the crack was in the corner of the device and this was their second attempt on the repair as the iPad was misbehaving due to a loose connector when they replaced the glass the first time (my focus was on the screen working and reacting as it should).
When contacting the technician he gave replies which seemed to relate to a different customers device and compounded the problem of the technician only coming into store only on a Tuesday of each week and the breakdowns in communication between the shop staff and himself made clear.
The Customer service and actual repair was really poor and had a very bad experience with this so I'd give it a wide berth unless you only need to buy a phone, accessory or have a very basic phone tablet query. read more
