What happened after that is why I would never recommend this company. It took FIVE DAYS for Impress to get back to me. By then, my teeth had already started shifting and my crossbite was beginning to return. Their solution? Charge me $750 to replace a few plastic trays. So I asked for a retainer just to preserve the progress I had already paid thousands of dollars for. They told me it could take about a MONTH. When I became upset, they offered to "expedite" it for another fee. Then they explained that "expedited" still meant waiting roughly 2-4 weeks for it to arrive at their office. In other words, their emergency solution is essentially no emergency solution at all. I asked if they could at least mail it to me. One employee said no. Another said yes, for another fee. That pretty much sums up Impress: delays, confusion, poor communication, and another fee at every turn. They were incredibly responsive while selling me the treatment. Once they had my money, the service dropped dramatically. You deal with bots, call-center staff, inconsistent answers, and an office that takes days to respond while your teeth are actively moving. Their weekly photo system is also tedious and poorly designed. They demand difficult mouth photos, reject them if they are not positioned correctly, yet do not even provide the simple mirror that would make taking them easier. Most frustrating of all, Impress charges prices comparable to a traditional orthodontic office but apparently cannot simply make an urgent replacement tray or temporary retainer in the office. Yes, I lost my aligners. But after paying $3,000, I expected competent support when something went wrong, not a $750 replacement charge, weeks of waiting, and extra fees to "expedite" or even mail a retainer. My teeth looked great five days ago. Now I can already feel my crossbite returning.

Each procedure was explained and front desk helped with scheduling and often notifying for upcoming appointments. So the reason why I stopped going... I had a filling redone due to it coming off. However, I had pain around the same tooth for months. I couldn't eat on that side at all. I went back in for checkups to see if they can figure out what's going on. The head dentist told me to consider getting a crown since there seems to be a cracking on the tooth. They offered to cover the costs however I thought it was a bit extreme to get a crown from a routine filling. Over the next couple months, I would go back multiple times since the pain didn't go away. This included shaving part of the filling, redoing the filling, and trying to figure out my bite. And the final time I went there for a checkup, I was just told it could just be a neurological thing and almost made it sound like it was my fault and they can't do anything about it. The only reason why I kept going back was to give them the opportunity to fix what they had messed up. I ended up looking for another dentist and I told them my issue. They were able to figure what was wrong, and redid my filling. Now I have no pain.
