I contacted Dr Nunez to come help my mom's 18 year old kitty cross the rainbow bridge. He had been declining over the past couple weeks and it was time to let him go peacefully. I was nervous because my mom was very distraught about having to make the decision and loves her baby so much. I just wanted it to go smoothly. I'm SO glad that I contacted Dr Nunez. Needed an emergency visit from a Mobile Vet... Found Dr. Nunez and it turned out to be the best decision ever! My 6 year old Sharpei was in extreme pain. She couldn't walk or even stand to drink water. We live on the 2nd level of a condo and could not get the pup down the stairs for fear of worsening the problem. Found Dr. Nunez on YELP and immediately gave in. Called her and she was able to schedule SAME DAY! This was very important as we didn't want the dog to experience pain for too much longer. Dr. Nunez was prompt, professional, caring and knowledgeable! She immediately knew what to do and what she needed in order to make my baby better. Dr. Nunez left us with some medication that our dog is currently still taking. All in all my pup seems to be recovering well. Pricing was extremely fair and more than a good value for us. She was so personable and kind when she did my nervous dog's routine physical and shots. I learned more from her during that hour visit than I have from other veterinarians in the last 10 years combined. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She is an amazing professional. She helped my sister in law's dog passed and when my vet said " sorry I can't do anything else for your pet, it's time to let her go" I called Dr. N. She came on Christmas Eve. She examined my dog and said " there is life left on this dog " she offered me hospice care and my dog is here with me still . I know here time is close because congestive heart failure has no cure, but for the time being hospice care is the right choice for us. I had come to the very difficult decision of putting down my beloved Boxer. I did not want to put more stress on my dog by taking her to a veterinarian's office and I wanted her to be surrounded by family when the time came. I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Dr. Nunez is actually a life saver. When my dog went down due to an IVDD episode late last year (and during peak COVID btw), we were met with multiple doctors telling us to pay up or put him down. Dr. Nunez was the only vet who really understood what was going on and was able to help my fur baby make a full recovery. It was a long, slow road, but we followed her plan and he made it through! Dr. Nunez is incredibly smart and informed, incredibly passionate, and so generous with her time. She really does care. She even took care or my pups nails because she saw that they were a little long due to the fact that grooming has been closed down due to COVID-19 for 2 months. My experience today was great! When your dog is sick you can either a. take her to the vet b. Look for a vet to come to you. If your dog is neurotic like ours; going to the vet is a highly stressful experience when she is healthy. My dog has cancer and is miserable so going to the vet isn't an option... In comes Dr. Nunez who offers a wonderful option B. She came to us on short notice recognizing that our Iggy wasn't doing well. She provided us with something anyone who has a pet with cancer is in desperate need of; peace of mind. There is not enough praise about the compassion and care through my darkest of moments regarding the care and concern of my big boy Eddie. Dr. Nunez gave not only him, but me, the utmost of what was needed to walk through his final weeks of life. Eddie was scheduled on a Monday AM to "see the rainbow bridge" but didn't make it through the night. I was grateful to hold him and let him continue on his journey at such a late time of night. She has excellent communication skills and teaches you what you need to do to most effectively care for your pet AFTER she has treated your pet. She was SO WONDERFUL with my stray cat Creamy. She vaccinated him, gave him a flea treatment, made sure he was fixed, and bathed. She gave him some much needed antibiotic for his respiratory infection and even pulled some infected teeth and gave him a short acting steroid shot to help with his severe oral inflammation. Dr Brandy Nunez just left my home and i wanted to jump online quickly before I forgot and leave her a review. This was my best veterinary experience ever! I've been going to a traditional vet with all of my pets for many years and always hated the stress it brought on for some of my more sensitive pets. This was my first experience with a home visit and it was awesome. She sat on the floor with my scaredy cat until she got to know her, and was very gentle and sweet. Losing a pet is losing a member of the family. Duke was my first child and I was so lucky to have had him in our lives for almost 15 years. Dr. Nunez and Maria made the whole process easier. I can't recommend them enough - I have a senior Boxer dog that has degenerative myelopathy and unfortunately his disease has progressed to the point where I knew it was time to switch from his regular veterinarian to a mobile veterinarian so I did a lot of research for local mobile veterinary services and came across this one, and after reading through several 5 star reviews I decided to text them. This is my first dog and my first time using a mobile vet, and while I'm still navigating some of the procedure changes, they have made it so extremely easy for me and my boy. After a telemedicine appointment, all of my dog's prescriptions were called in to my local pharmacy for me to pick up, and she even went above and beyond sending me numerous text messages about products she recommends for some of the challenges we're facing with my boy right now... & Has since continued to be in good contact with me in regards to following up on some of those challenges. One of the best things I did was pick up the phone and call Dr. Brandy Nunez. We had a young dog who was suffering from a lot of pain and after several office visits with 3 different vets we could not get a solid diagnosis. That's when I decided that we needed a mobile vet to see him in his own environment. I called her on a Saturday morning and we arranged for her to come out and see my dog on Monday morning. She explained that he had so much fear of the vet that adrenaline of his fear canceled out his pain. Before she even came out she was answering my texts about medication and soothing my nerves. When she arrived at our house, she sat on the floor and won over both of my dogs which is a difficult task. They don't immediately trust anyone, but they took to her without a bark. We arranged for her to sedate him the following week to perform a thorough exam. Unfortunately nothing obvious showed up in the exam so she recommended that we get an MRI. I scheduled an MRI for the following week. Several days later my dog made a drastic turn for the worse, so I texted Dr. Nunez about his needing immediate hospital care. She recommended a specialty hospital in Irvine and called over there for me so they were prepared for our arrival. The MRI was done immediately and we found out that he had an inoperable brain tumor. The neurologist told me that Dr. Nunez saved my dog's life that day by acting as fast as she did. We were all devastated by the news because he was only 4 years old. After the diagnosis, she texted me often to check on him. I texted her when I was emotionally breaking down at times and she always answered with understanding & compassion. We lost our little guy two days after bringing him home from the hospital. I only regret that she couldn't be here to help him when he needed to cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Nunez is by far the most compassionate veterinarian that I have ever met. I love how personable she is and the non-clinical feel of getting care for my pets.
