I called to schedule a visit for my two dogs after clearly seeing I was in their coverage zone via the website. When called back this morning, I was told they don't go this far south and that they would have to have the web designer fix the graphic. That qualifies as ridiculously poor service in my book and quite frustrating that they would conduct business in this manner.

Champ was adopted about nine months ago and we've helped him overcome most of his fearful issues. But he is still unwilling to get into our car and also had a bad experience during his last visit with our family vet. So we decided to make a appointment with Dr. Cauble to help with Champ's incontinence and fearful issues. Amanda was great to work with in setting up Champ's appointment and establishing his new profile. She always followed up with any questions we had. On the day of the visit, Dr. Cauble and Claudia arrived on time and explained to us the process of Champ's examination, diagnosis and recommended treatment. It was clear they both knew what they were doing and made the best of the situation for Champ which truly put our minds at ease. We're grateful for Dr. Cauble and his staff for seeing Champ and look forward to their next visit.

I bought a puppy last year, a sweet 3 months old Biewer Yorkshire Terrier. When I took my puppy for the third DA2PP at three months old, a replacement vet. Insisted that I will need to have total four DA2PP for my dog. December 9th for the third vaccine and December 26 for the forth vaccine. When I took my puppy there on December 26, they gave my dog DAPP vaccine, Rabbits vaccine, and oral Bordetella. There was no advanced notice or approval on both Rabbits vaccine and oral Bordetella/ there is one treatment on December 9th already. My puppy was 11 weeks old and 3.6 lb on Decamber 26. I was very stressed on more than one vaccine in one visit on a such young puppy under 4 lb and there was no owner approval. When I checked out my dog, I raised my concern and disappointed. All I got was " our tech has right to decide what your dog needs." My puppy came home can't move nor eat/drink for hours. I hold her the whole night and had a very hard time worrying if she would had bad outcomes. She was trained properly after two weeks in my house, but started bad behavior issues after December 26 vaccine trauma for three months until now. I don't think that I will bring her back to Best Care Pet hospital any more. It is sad, I worked with Dr. Tang for over 30 years and in the same location with same staffs since Dr. Tang moved to this location. I can't trust this clinic for my dogs any more.

I moved back to LA around 3 ish years ago and have since been looking for a vet where I feel comfortable, nothing is rushed and prices are VERY reasonable compared to other places I've been to. I even was able to get somewhat of a last minute appointment with them and they were so great about calling to get me an even earlier time. I've had my fair share of visits with the vet because anytime somethings wrong with my dog, I try and get it checked out right away. The people here are very kind, thorough, they make sure to ask all the questions and also answer all the ones I have. Again, prices are super reasonable too especially with some others in the area I've tried out. If you're in the La Crescenta/ La Canada area, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Parking is also very convenient!

Telling us we are difficult, no we are not, we just don't appreciate liars. Pure and simple. Few appointments ago we noticed Dr Youn (owner as well), was giving us the run around and when we told him, please stop trying to upsell us, and let's just treat the problem we originally came for. He didn't like that. I call it how I see it. As for the staff, all dull and not friendly at all at least to us. I guess you have to be in their "La crescenta white" group, to be treated fairly. Very unethical place, and they treat dogs? Twisted. If you love your four legged friend, don't take your dog there. Again please approach with caution.

My dog has formed a small lump in between one of his paws & it was leaking puss. I went ahead & called Hillcrest & the receptionist was able to get me an appointment for the next day instead of having me come in as urgent. Once I was with the vet, they looked at his paw & concluded that this might have been caused by a fox tail. I tried to explain that I didn't believe that was the case since I had not walked my dog around the neighborhood yet nor were there any foxtails by my home. They were pretty convinced this was still the case despite me mentioning maybe an ingrown hair or some other cause. The vet didn't really listen to my opinion & instead recommended my dog either be given medication or go under the knife. Personally, recommending surgery was a ridiculous suggestion in my opinion. It felt scummy. I went with medication, bandaging & cleaning his wound. It totaled to about $403. In the end, the bandaging they did on my dog gave him a new wound that required me to take him to a different vet 2 weeks later. Turns out, the initial lump was just a symptom of my dog having allergies! Condensed Version: -Staff: Super friendly & accommodating. -Veterinarian: They could do better in listening to the owner, especially before jumping to surgery. -Location: Parking in the area was terrible. -Price: Expensive, $403, they kept insisting I buy certain things despite me saying I already had something similar. -Overall Impression: I appreciate the staff willing to accommodate us at the last minute. However, my dog developed a NEW wound due to their bandaging so I had to take him to a different vet. Recommending surgery was a big red flag to me, turns out, it was just allergies! I would have a hard time returning back in the future.

From that very first visit, they've walked alongside us through every season of her life. They've celebrated her milestones, comforted us through the scary moments, and treated our girls: Bay and Ava, with such tenderness. Everyone there, from the front desk (Auntie Lynn!) to the vet techs to the doctors (Dr. Schnabel!), has shown us a level of care that goes far beyond professionalism. It feels like love. It feels like family. We drive from the Valley to Glendale without hesitation because there is simply no one else we trust with our fur babies. Visit after visit, they've cared for our girls, but they've also cared for us. We recommend them with full hearts. Dr. Krista Schnabel checked my dogs ears teeth and refilled her meds and gave her anti nausea meds and sent her on her way after Her blood was drawn.. the results came back 4.. FOUR DAYS LATER. My dog was urgent and she left there still suffering and in pain.. They treated her like a checkup. I had to go to 2 urgent cares after them and Pay for new bloodwork.. new exam fees.. u know how expensive emergency vets are.. VCA Arden said they will refund my money for the bloodwork but.. we will see if the check they are sending will actually arrive. I told a friend of mine how careless they were she said they unalived her dog.. before all this.. after the initial agreement to refund the bloodwork I thought I would let them redeem themselves and check on my dogs breathing but BETHANY the "manager" said we to not come back. I mean.. I paid for an exam fee, after all, for the doc to check her ears? Refund the exam fee too then! she said I wasn't happy with their office and I shouldn't come back. Even if I was to request a different vet... I guess calling them out for failing miserably for putting my dogs life at risk is inconvenience instead of a learning experience to do better. No bloodwork should take that long. None. Ever since Patty retired this office has gone downhill fast. I don't see them staying open much longer and for good reason.. well Bethany.. you're no patty. You're just someone who will keep chasing clients off. Good luck.
