We feel so lucky to have found Dr. Khouban!! The hardest part of having fur babies is having to let one go. Our golden retriever Riley was at the end of her life and we knew we wanted her last view to be of the home she grew up in and not some lab table at the vets office. Dr Khouban came to our home and was so so patient with us, giving us the time we needed to say goodbye. She also did a paw print keepsake of her paw so we can always have that with us. I really appreciated her kindness and professionalism. We recently added a new pup to our family and look forward to using her other care services for him and our golden Penny.

I just visited Dr Khouban when the cat I recently adopted got tapeworm. I'm a first time pet owner so I had a lot of questions and anxiety of not knowing what to do. Dr K was so patient with me answered all my questions and was very transparent about the steps and costs. She was honest about which options were more bang for the buck. You can tell she's in this business for the animals as her love and care shines through. Due to Covid I wasn't able to talk to her in person, but she was open and consistent with her communication so it was like I was there every step of the way. When I got my cat back, she was calm and relaxed in her carrier showing no signs of stress. Thank you Dr Khouban!

Dr. Galleet Khouban is the consummate professional - she is the vet that you want for your furry member of the family. Having a sick pet is one of the most worrisome and stressful positions that a person can be in. During this time, you desire someone who will give your pet their utmost attention, someone who displays the empathy, care, gentle touch, and honesty you would want in a physician that sees you, your friends, or family. These are the qualities that I immediately noticed in Dr. Khouban. I arrived at her vet clinic with 10/10 stress and emotions through the roof as my cat had been urinating blood over the previous week. Right off the bat, she soothed my cat by gently talking to him and softly patting his back, and then made me feel a million times more comfortable by calmly and confidently explaining her plan. After taking my cat, she provided me with updates and intermittent spurts of reassurance and ease. After giving my cat back to me, she went through all her diagnostics and findings in language that I can understand, and made sure that I understood everything and all my options prior to leaving. She offered me opportunities to ask questions and respectfully answered and provided detailed explanations. I felt...a sigh of relief, like I had someone in my corner who would make sure my cat was heading in the right direction. Once home, she even followed up with me and made sure that all my prescriptions were placed appropriately. She also followed up with my cat's progress throughout the next two weeks. It can sometimes be hard to sense whether a physician is "just doing their job" or if she/he is fulfilling their passion and truly caring for your loved one as if it was their own. With Dr. Khouban, the entire visit felt like the latter. I am truly grateful and will forever go to her for all my animal needs.

My beautiful dog, I will miss you forever

My baby Oreo the love of my life had neared her end of her beautiful long life and I cannot express the sheer amount of gratitude I have for finding Dr. Khouban. Everytime I would think about what I had to do I would cry. Dr. Khouban took charge and helped me through this difficult moment and was so compassionate and caring. It felt as if she also knew and loved my dog for as long as I did. The thought of taking her to the vet and doing it there, a place I know she hates, gave me anxiety because I wanted her last moments to be happy so the fact that Dr. Khouban came to my home is so invaluable. She made sure Oreo was comfortable and I was with her the whole time. It just looked like she went to sleep and that was that. Without her I wouldn't have been able to do this. You need someone who knows what they're doing, who can make you and your fur baby be comfortable and not scared, let's you take your time and do it at the right time. The last moments are so precious and you don't want to mess with that with the wrong doctor. I truly cannot suggest Dr. Khouban and her services more. I garuantee you're in good safe capable hands! Additionally, during these times with covid she was very clean and very safe and having that extra precautions being taken care of very well helped me put my mind at more ease.

I faced the difficult decision of euthanizing my beloved pet. During this time, this facility offered a compassionate environment, and the staff demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and support throughout the process. Their team ensured that my pet was able to pass with dignity and comfort. I am sincerely grateful to all of them, especially Ashley, who took the time to hand-sketch my dog on the condolence card they provided! She's an amazing artist btw! My pet was been seen at this office for many years, and I wish I had known about their care from the very beginning when I first adopted my dog. I also have cats who continue to be cared for here, which gives me additional confidence remaining with their services. Thank you all at Grand Park Animal Hospital. Your compassion, professionalism, and support during a difficult chapter in my life, meant a great deal to me. My gratitude is reflected by the kindness you extend to your clients and their furry loved ones!

I've been to other hospitals before where I sometimes felt overwhelmed by too many tests and recommendations, so I was worried at first. However, this hospital was completely different. They never pushed unnecessary treatments or exams, and they took the time to clearly explain why each treatment or recommendation was needed in a way that was easy for me to understand as a pet owner. That made me feel very comfortable and confident trusting them with my pet. Another surprising thing was how professional and detail-oriented the receptionists were. They carefully checked all the documents I needed multiple times to make sure everything was correct. Everyone here was honest, trustworthy, and genuinely caring!!!

Recently brought one of our dogs here for a serious issue. We never even saw the doctor, only spoke to them through a phone call even though we were at the office. After speaking to the doctor, the assistant presented the estimate very matter of factly. We declined one of the procedures. 3 hours later when it was time to pay they tried to charge us for the declined service even though it clearly was written on the estimate that it was declined. The absolute worse part is that after coming home, our other dog developed the same symptoms as our dog we had brought in. We called them back and asked to speak to the doctor for counsel. They had no idea who the doctor was. Finally we were told the doctor would call us back. We never received a call and our other dog passed away that night. Obviously we were gutted and when we took our deceased dog in for afterlife care the next day, the receptionist just shoves the brochure at us and gives us prices. Not even a simple sorry or modicum of concern. They dont care about your pets. I write this because I dont want someone else to potentially feel the pain we feel for waiting for these folks to call you back and having something horrible happen.

Finn is extremely shy and particular, and giving him fluids at home just isn't an option. We also made the intentional choice not to associate his one safe space, home, with anything painful. At the clinic, it sometimes takes three nurses to support him, one to gently hold him, one to feed him churro (his favorite distraction), and one to administer fluids. And they do it all with so much patience, compassion, and genuine care. Because of this team, Finn is not only stable, he's doing so well. Truly, I believe they've saved his life. If you're looking for a veterinary team that goes above and beyond, this is it. If you decide to join, feel free to use my referral code: REFER100-178N1. I was recently laid off, so referrals genuinely help me keep up with Finn's ongoing care. If you choose to join, using and sharing my code means more than you know.

My Dutchess and I felt very taken care of by them, and I felt that the tests they recommended were worth it. Unfortunately, about a week ago, after Dutchess suffered back to back seizures and a stroke, Dr. C was very upfront with me about recommending that I put my sweet girl to sleep, and that any further testing would just be a waste of money. I respect her honesty and care with which she delivered the news. I was hysterical, but I realized that she was right -- my baby would never be able to walk, run or jump as normal. It was up to me to give her a dignified goodbye. As I was crying in the exam room after I received the news, one of the techs, a smaller woman with black hair and a ponytail who was always so kind to my baby, came in and told me how good of a mom I was this whole time. Those words of kindness really touched my heart. They facilitated and accommodated me during this difficult time. I asked if they did at home euthanasia and Dr. C was kind enough to provide this service for me. She was empathetic and respectful of my feelings and even comforted me during and after the procedure. I even noticed the care with which she wrapped my baby's body after it. After she was carried out, Dr. C extended words of comfort and acknowledged the deep pain I was in. I will always remember her kindness. Thank you to the staff and vets at Little Tokyo Pet Clinic for the excellent care they have given Dutchess, and even myself. I recommend this clinic wholeheartedly.

Because I had to go to work/could not cancel, I opted to do the day after. The estimate at MASH is $6,000-8,000 but here it was around $4500. I dropped my cat off early on Wednesday for his check-up, test, and surgery. Ultimately, they disagreed with the vets at MASH and said my cat had no crystals either in x-ray or in his urinalysis but did have a UTI which contributed to a second blockage (bladder overflow). They kept him for 48-hours to unblock and recover. This cost around $2K. At MASH where he had done the same 2 days earlier, it was $6K When MASH returned my cat, he was rough. He reeked of pee, his face was completely crusted/sticky with dried medicine, his fur was full of shed, and he was lethargic and in pain despite all the medicines. When Affordable returned him, my cat was bright and energetic. They clearly took care of him (he smelled like a baby wipe). It has been about a week since I brought him home, but I knew immediately that he was feeling better the day I picked him up. Now, he has completely recovered. Back to flinging himself around and meowing at 4 am. I am incredibly grateful to this hospital for their responsiveness, flexibility, affordability, and the kindness they showed my cat. I was worried that I would end up losing my cat (I had paid nearly $7K at MASH and he wasn't better) if he blocked again, but Dr. Barrera said that I should "give my cat a chance." He said that it is what he would do if it were his cat. I'm grateful that I did because it saved him from unnecessary surgeries. My cat was seen by Dr. Forsythe and Dr. Barrera and they both were very kind and gentle with him. I do see what some reviews mean about their disorganization. They forgot to call me to update me that he wasn't getting the surgery but would need to be hospitalized. I had to call them, but it turned out that Dr. Forsythe had gotten very sick. He returned my call despite being audibly quite sick and given that my cat needed the hospitalization anyways (and he was fine), I can see how it slipped through the cracks. They seem to accommodate all kinds of emergencies as best as they can, so I think a little disorganization is totally ok. I do think Dr. Forsythe needs a new phone. It sounded like he was calling from a remote cabin or from a phone that fell off a cliff. I had to listen to the voicemail at max volume more than once. I will likely return again/switch my primary vet to this one because it is closer, cheaper, and I had a great experience. And apparently, my shy scaredy cat enjoyed the attention he received here. There are some more "affordable" vets but in terms of quality/expertise, this hospital is well worth the price. When I called around to vets in Los Angeles for cystotomy prices, Ambassador Dog & Cat Hospital were the only ones that actually do it (many don't update their sites) that are near me (don't have a car) and their estimated price was also the same $4500. They are also roughly the same prices of my long-time vet (Beverly Robertson, wonderful, estimated $4K for procedure) and especially after going to MASH, these prices might as well be pennies. CareCredit is accepted basically everywhere, but what's nice about this hospital is that they accept ScratchPay which is a god send for emergency vet loans. This hospital is in an old building, but is still very nice and clean. Maybe not as sparkling as a brand new facility, but on par with the vets I've gone to over my lifetime.
