Scheduled David to come maintenance my Arien snowblower that I just bought a year ago cause after our 1st snowfall in Dec 2022 the snowblower wouldn't start. David gave me a maint window to be to my house between 1 - 3 pm. He showed up after 4:30. Took him literally about 8 minutes to flush the carburetor and fix the shute. He informed me its best to store snowblower over the offseason with little to no gas. Two weeks later in Jan, we have a huge snowstorm and I go out to start the snowblower and it won't start. Texted and called David multiple times to ask if I could facetime him or talk with him over the phone to trouble shoot why it won't start and got no response - crickets.. Come to find out he has a horrible rating with BBB, etc. Got burned on this one. Spent $195 for 8 minutes of work with no response to follow up inquiries for help/assistance. read more

I recently moved from an apartment to a home and was so excited to mow my lawn for the first time in two years. Of course on this beautiful Sunday my lawnmower wouldn't start. I am fairly new to the area and not knowing where to take it, I contacted Home Depot where they told me it was a two week window before they could even look on it. That wasn't going to work so based on the great reviews (thanks everybody!) I contacted David. Trust is a big word when it comes to repairs. On Tuesday David came to my house, tuned up my lawn mower at a very fair price and it is in tip-top shape once again. I will absolutely use him again when I need a repair. It was such a pleasure to receive his good old fashioned small business customer service in this big-box world. Plus not only does he know what he's doing, he is very personable and a super nice guy! read more

We needed some help with a snowblower that hadn't run in years. I called Dave and hoped he could get it going. The estimate (low estimate, it could be more) he gave seemed very reasonable so I said come on over. He showed up on time (major points), got it running in about 3 minutes (more points), then changed the oil (ok, that needed to be done, we did not have the drip pan, more points), and replaced the fuel line. Runs good, not great, so he worked on it for another hour ... oh boy, there goes the estimate! Now it runs great, and he (apologetically) charged a few dollars more. Now I call him "one pull Dave". Great job, great price, couldn't ask for more. read more

I left a voice message for David, and he responded right away via text, which is more convenient for me. He told me when he was going to be in the area where I live, and I made an appointment with him. He came as scheduled and fixed my lawnmower very quickly after it was leaking gasoline. My lawnmower was working even better than after I took it to the shop to have it tuned last year. David is very professional and polite and good at what he does. I will certainly contact him again if I have any issues with my lawnmower or to get it tuned. It's actually very convenient not to have to take the machine to a shop. Thank you, David! read more

I called David after finding his yelp reviews. I live in SE Aurora so I'm not close or convenient for a lot of home repair calls. Unexpectedly, David said he could come over in a couple of hours, surprise! He was on time, very friendly and his services are reasonably priced. He fixed my snow blower, and I was so impressed I asked him to tune and winterize my mower while he was here. I wasn't planning on that originally. It's so nice to find this kind of friendly and professional service.I recommend David strongly! He's definitely someone I will be calling again. read more

David was great. Showed up when he said he would, tuned-up my mower and was able to fix a carburetor issue as well. Was super convenient and very handy not having my mower tied up in the shop for a week+ ... which has often been the case in the past when I've had my annual tune-ups done. Bonus was David was a super nice dude too. I always worry when I have a transaction with total strangers at my home (never know when some strange Slingblade is going to show up) but David was a great guy. Will most definitely use again next year at this time! read more

Dave was awesome. He scheduled an appointment with us and was here at that time. Also he fixed both my lawnmowers at a very reasonable price. He also let us know when he was almost here so we could get our lawnmowers out on the driveway being careful with the current situation to have as little face to face contact as possible. I will most definitely hire Dave and Mobile small engine repair again without a doubt. He showed up and fixed our lawnmowers right at the house which is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much Dave. read more

Great value and service! Similar experience to the other reviews here...called David in the morning and he was at my house same day just after lunch. David was very professional and had no problem giving my lawn mower a full tune up and carb cleanout with pricing better than what I was quoted at local repair shops where in addition I would have to transport/drop off, leave my mower there for 2 weeks, then go pick it up again. I would definitely call David again and/or recommend him to anyone needing basic lawn mower service! read more

Walk-behind mover started rough and immediately began coughing up smoke. Called Dave, and he tuned it up, sharpened the blade, and it works like a charm now. Really impressed with his professionalism - he thought he could come by Saturday (when my mower broke), and texted later that he would not be able to make it. He was very responsive and reasonably priced - especially for a house call. The best part was NOT having to load up the mower and take it somewhere. Great deal, and I'll be calling again for tune-up next year. read more

I had been sitting on repairs needed on my mower for some time and was shocked when i called David, he answered and said "oh yeah I'll be there within two hours." What? After having people not show up to appointments and not call back I was more than pleased. What a great experience. David is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very thorough with the repairs. His fees are competitive and reasonable. My mower runs like new and I'll be calling David for small engine repair needs until he decides to retire! read more

I requested a quote yesterday, he replied within 15 minute. He arrived today as agreed and fixed my snowblower in 20 minute. He knew exactly the problem, fixed it and even had fresh gas to put in the snowblower. You can't beat the service he provides. I was facing having to rent a trailer to take it to the store, they were going to "send it out" for repair and then I'd have to pick it up. They estimated 14 days for repair. Painless, reasonable pricing, fast and efficient. Definitely use him again. read more

I called David because of the great reviews he had on Yelp and was not disappointed. I called him in the morning and although he was on another job in the area, he graciously agreed to work around my schedule and come back that evening. He had our mower working within 15-20 minutes of arrival at our home and guarantees his work. Excellent service from a really nice guy who I would not hesitate to highly recommend to others or to call upon again if I ever need small engine repair. read more

What a great service! David showed up less than 2 hours after I called and fixed my mower in 20 minutes! Later when I tried to start the mower it failed, so I called him and he came over the first thing the next morning and discovered my husband was using the wrong fuel! He flushed the mower and got it running perfect without any additional cost! David is professional, fast and appropriately priced, not to mention I saved the interior of my car! I will definitely use him again! read more

I'm glad I took the time to read these reviews. Nobody gets all 5 and 1 stars with nothing in between, and there are plenty of 1 stars. And I just read his retort to a bad review, saying, "aren't you the one who wouldn't wear a mask?" This guy apparently believes that masks protect against covid, even though real scientists will tell you it's like putting up a chain link fence to block a dust storm. I'll keep looking until I find someone with a higher IQ to service my mower. read more

David showed up promptly and had my 3yo snow blower's carburetor cleaned out in under 15 minutes. (I should *not* have left gas in the tank over the summer.) He gave it a quick check out and everything else was still in working order. I was quoted a reasonable price range and my bill ended up being at the bottom of that range. Bottom line: David was prompt, polite, fast, and thorough. I will definitely call him for future jobs that exceed my mechanical skill level. read more

David was great to work with. He responded right away, set an appointment, texted me prior to heading to my house and sent a follow up text when he had completed the work. His pricing was very reasonable. He returned to my house a couple weeks later to check on a fuel leak without complaint or issue. It turned out that there were no leaks from my machine and he did not charge me at all for his time. I will definitely use him again in the future! read more

I have used Dave twice now to do a full tune-up on my Honda lawnmower. That includes changing the oil & spark plug, plus sharpening the blades. Dave is thorough and efficient, completing the tune up in about 20 minutes. After each tuneup, I can feel and hear the difference in engine performance! And it is so, so convenient that he comes to my house to do the tune-up, saving me the time and labor to transport the lawnmower. Highly recommend. read more

David just worked on my mower. He was very responsive, and communicative on his travel times, which helped me, and he's professional and very friendly. He guarantees his work, and his work looks good. He was nice enough to field a few side questions I had about a snowblower that I have, which might need some work in the future. I'll update here if I run into any issues with the mower's performance, but everything has gone great so far. read more

My lawn mower needed a tune up badly, and I just did not have the time to do it myself or track down a repair shop. Thankfully I found David. He is very friendly and professional. He was able to come to my home the same day (way out in Parker), and had my mower running like new in a matter of minutes: new filter, oil change, carb tune up, and sharpened my blade. And he guaranteed his work. WOW! read more
