We had a great time hanging at Bay Oxygen Bar. The guy that works there (Charles) is awesome and…read moreshares the most amazing stories about health and history. I'll be returning for sure.

I went out with my friend to the catina. After we finished she wanted to try the oxygen bar I didn'…read moret want to, but she kept saying let's try it. I already got a negative vibe from him. Not long after we sat down he began his speech on the White Man. How they're are basically cave men. He said white doctors don't have cures they have treatments. I agreed with him on that, but I only suggested they may have cures but doesn't want to give it to most people because they will be out of buisness. I had to tell him that three times before he got what I was saying. That's when I knew he's only into what he's so called preaching and not listening. The white man speech kept going on until I was sick and tired of it. I was only here for oxygen not a damn speech against white people, and I grew up hearing that, and I no longer believe it. It's bullshit! I told Charles (that's his name) everything isn't about white or black all races are slaves to some point, and we all have the same issues. Then he began telling me and my friend that whites have neanderthal blood(hope I spelled it right) and something else in their blood. By this time I was so tired of hearing him...he even at one point said these damn white people. I told him look you're making most of your money off of white people. He got very angry because I said it out loud around a lot of white people. He began looking around because he didn't want his money(white people) to hear what I was saying. If he think they are so horrible why is he smiling in their faces, taking pictures with them, He's performing a show in front of them, and the white people don't know that he secreatly hates them. He is disgusting, and I told him to his face that he's a racist and a old fool. He thinks he's sooo smart...he gets most of his information from google, but he thinks he's a professor. As soon as I disagreed with him on a few things he told me I'm used to getting my information from the white man that's why I'm not listening to him. First I learned years ago if someone isn't asking you for your opinion on something its best not to say anything because its unwanted information, and all you do is annoy the person. That's what he did to me and my friend. He was very unprofessional by arguing with me for not agreeing with his hate speech while I'm trying to relax. Why couldn't he just shut up! He felt comfortable talking about whites with black people, but when I told him he was wrong he lost it. This guy Charles is a very disgusting person...because I shined a light on what he was saying was wrong...both me and my friend seen his true dark side come out.

Pros: The therapy seemed to help with healing and recovery. Technicians Bobby and Maddie were friendly and attentive. The chambers have overhead TVs for entertainment, since phones and other electronics are not allowed inside the chamber. Cons: The facility feels very bare-bones and looks like a converted storage space. There is no proper waiting room, changing area, or lockers for personal belongings, only a very small file cabinet. Patients wait directly in front of the chambers, and personal items like shoes and jackets are left on chairs or the floor. There's no privacy when entering or exiting the chamber, so surgery-related swelling, bruising, and inflammation will be seen by other patients waiting for their turn. The price felt high based on the very basic setup and overall experience. I would recommend HBOT therapy for recovery and healing, but this location may not meet expectations for patients looking for a more private, comfortable and upscale experience.

I started first at another facility in Santa Monica. Did three sessions there, before coming to this one...because this place was open Sunday. I'm glad I did. Brad was my tech. It was because of his knowledge and expertise, I decided to switch over to this place. Brad explained everything and helped me understand what the hyperbaric oxygen therapy does. Additionally, he was attentive, ensuring I was comfortable. The place was clean, with free parking.
