Clayton Homes - Wall behind my bedroom door

If you are looking for a MFG home, shop around and then tell them what you found. They will treat…read moreyou right. We had been looking at homes for several years and we actually found the MFG home we wanted at another site but no one would return our calls after they had already given us a quote which we were happy with. After about three tries, we decided to try this location which was closer to us but did not have the model we wanted on site. Once we walked into the door they were very happy to see us and asked us what we were looking for. We told them we had a quote from another location and had been to this location about a year ago. They asked to see the quote, the sales person was new and had to get the manager which came out to talk with us about the sale. We had just sold our house and needed another place to live. The lead time on the house we wanted was about 3 months, which we were OK with because we had a camper to stay in for the meantime. Both manager and sales rep. were great in helping us out. There were some changes that we wanted to make to the home which they told us the pro's and con's. The changes that we did go through with actually lowered the Quote. The whole 3 month they kept us up to date as to the status of the home. It actually came in a 1-2 weeks early and took about another 2 weeks before we could move in. With all the permits and contractors having to coordinate the installation of each section. I hired my own contractors which I'm not sure if that was a good thing or not but we got through it. As normal there were things that had to be fixed after we moved in. They responded to everything in a very timely manner and worked around our schedules if we needed to be there for the repair or touch up. Everything that we requested was taken care of, except for 2 items which I kind of expected but thought it was worth a try to get fixed. One of them I thought they should take care of but kept getting, its someone else job. (Painting) Every time I tried they would send the same person, so I'm going to see about doing it myself since it has been over a year now. We purchased the appliances along with the warranty. I normally don't purchase warranties for this reason but I did. The ice maker kept getting ice stuck and I requested a claim when my expectations came to life. They wanted me to get 2 estimates and send the quotes to them before repairing the ice maker. I called several places and they said we lived to far out. I finally looked up to see what it would cost for a new ice maker and it was cheaper than my deductible of $100. I had the unit installed within 2 days and that included the shipping. Our experience was very pleasant and will go back if we need another, god forbid anything should happen like Harvey again. We had only been in the home for 3 months when it hit. Hopefully your experience will be the same. Happy house hunting

Sad to say we were kinda desperate after hurricane Harvey when our house was flooded. The house we…read moreoriginally lived in was flooded and needed to many repairs to live in while fixing them. We decided to look for a mobile home to place on our property for the safety of our health since we found one that could be delivered as soon as we fixed up a pad site. Since having the home less than a year there's been so many things that have already been falling apart or needing to be fixed. Omg my doorknobs in my bedroom and bathroom has fallen off like 4 times each. The roof has leaked 2 times ( leaking coming thru the light fixture in the laundry room. There's numerous trims coming loose, wallpaper ripping ( they won't fix). My daughter's ac vent won't even open/close, there's kitchen drawers that needs tracking system replaced( still not done) and heck one drawer didn't even have the railing thing on it at all. Also the bathroom sink has the sealer falling off underneath. I have no idea why it's so hard for the company to keep in touch with me or even to actually fix all the crap that's been falling apart . Geez if you do t have to buy one I suggest you don't. I could go on and on with my dissatisfaction and disappointment

Then we found mobile homes for less we bought from Stan Jr. They were not only the cheapest and more house for your money but they are So nice! They don't pressure you to buy. And they are So helpful!!! Nicest homegrown people you'll ever meet. They are just great people. We have had the mobile home for almost a year now and Stan Still checks up on us to make sure everything's going good! And we couldn't be happier! Great quality homes and great prices!

We bought our new home from Mobile Homes for Less. It was probably the largest purchase we have…read moremade but was also the easiest purchase we made. Everything was delivered and set up on the dates that was promised, any issues we had after moving in were promptly addressed and my favorite part is I never called the main office. If I needed anything or had questions I had Stans direct cell phone number. I called or texted him directly and he promptly answered me back. They packed up and moved out old house and had the new one in on the same day. This is a great company to deal with even after we completed the sale. Stan has called me twice now in a 3 month period just to make sure we are doing ok, making sure we were enjoying our new home and if we needed anything from him. I will always refer Stan and mobile homes for less to anyone looking for a new home.
