To add insult to injury my home flooded on 01/08/25 from a leaking toilet. The insurance company did everything they needed to do including sending me my first payment to start my work on my home. SWE homes held on to my check for over 30days and wouldnt release the check to the contractor I chose telling me I needed to choose a cheaper contractor. As a mortgage company your main concern should be making sure that the contractors homeowners choose are insured contractors. Instead, they wanted to keep money from the insurance company to line their pockets. This is called DTPA and its against the law in texas. I had to hire a lawyer to get my money to fix my home. People need to start reporting them to the attorney general. Do better by people you do business with and stop taking advantage of low-income families.

But these pictures show the silt runoff from the clear cutting they do at their development sites. This silt runoff goes into our mountain streams then eventually end up in our lake. If Johnson Development really cared about the water quality of the lake they would not be doing this kind of damage to the lake. At a minimum, they would offer to dredge the coves where their development projects dump silt into the lake. Crystal Clear Water......not for long with Johnson Development building!
