I'm so glad I had this training. I've had CPR training and first aid before, but Mary's class was…read moredifferent. Her real life experience as Chico Fire Fighter, school health aid and mother of very competitive athletes made it possible for her to teach us how to handle real life's extraordinary circumstances. I felt like she taught us how to know when and how to help, and how to communicate with injured people and other people who are involved or also trying to help. Recently I came upon a situation. A man was unconscious lying in a pool of water. He'd been assaulted and had hit his head and injured his back and ribs. There was a crowd of people around him, some of whom were trying to move him out of the puddle. I thought everyone knew not to move an injured person unless they were in danger. Anyway, I was so glad to have the knowledge and confidence to know how to help and how to communicate and work with other people who were trying to help. I asked if anyone else had CPR or first aid training. I was surprised that no one said yes. I asked someone to call 911 (which thankfully had already been done). I was then able to clear a few people away, assess the situation and do what I could for the man until the EMT's arrived. I was glad that I knew what to say to him when he came to, and how to encourage him to stay still and reassure him that help was coming. I hardly did anything, but I was able to stay calm and help keep others calm. I'm certain if I hadn't had Mary's class I would have just been a by-stander wishing I could find away to help the man. After the event had passed I remembered that Mary had given us her number and said that we could call her anytime. I was so glad to be able to call her the next day and just talk about what had happened. It's nice that BEST CPR training doesn't just end when you get your certificate. I fully recommend this company. Everyone should have BEST CPR training!

The certification is of course required and Mary made sure it was not a barrier to caring for children in our community. Her experience made the course come alive and even though we have been certified many times, her real life examples helped these lessons feel far more relevant. I highly recommend Mary's courses!

Ummmmm.... This place is AWESOME! I was in and out in 9 minutes. You do all the coursework online,…read morego to the machines inside, save plastic lives, BAM! Done. I did an ACLS recert and it was literally perfect. You type in a door code to access the room, the machines are on and waiting, cameras are live for safety. It's rad. I didn't have to sit through long, laborious classes, wait for other people's questions answered, or feel like someone was lording over my practice/testing the whole time. The room does have cameras for safety but you go in alone and it's glorious. I don't think I'd want to go into a room without some sort of supervision. It was super clean, beyond efficient, and they even have cute little goodies to snag! The course work was easy to access and standard for hospital AHA folks. You get the same AHA card that's approved with institutions everywhere. And it's IMMEDIATE! It's also a local family business, which I love. I will never recert anywhere else. My PALS comes up in July and I'm stoked to rebook with Emergitek. Thanks, guys (whomever you are! :P)

Danielle is an incredible instructor! I have been through a handful of CPR/First Aid classes over…read morethe years and this one by far is one of the most comprehensive and enjoyable classes I've had the pleasure of being a part of. She was very direct in her instructions and assessments of each of us in her class. We had 4 students in our course and she was able to answer each question and concern as well as giving us one on one adjustments and recommendations for our performance of the CPR and First Aid demonstrations. All of the equipment was newer technology which was very interesting to use! It gave you real time information on how you were doing the compressions and air volume for the breaths. Their space was a little small but very clean and comfortable! I highly recommend going to one of her classes if you're in need of an update on your certification or are first starting out! They also travel and do larger classes off site as well which is super helpful if you have a large team that needs to be certified. Thank you again Danielle!
