So far my son has only had one teacher, Mathew, and my son loves him! He's learned a lot and has even taught me a few things I didn't know, and I've been driving for 37 years! Customer Service is excellent! I spoke with quite a few, but Ashley went above and beyond and I appreciate their kindness and efficiency. After we *both* learned a few things from Matthew I'd say that if you've been driving for a long time, it's a good idea to pick up a California Driving Handbook. Not only were professional driving schools not required back in the 80's and early 90's, but a few laws have changed since then and it's a good idea to freshen up your knowledge of the California road rules, regulations and safety etc. Lessons are expensive no matter what, and they're all about the same price. Coastline tends to be available within a few days, so if you're looking to book a lesson ASAP, they're the ones to call. I'm definitely going to have my daughter use Coastline, and I definitely recommend them to anyone!

Their website says they offer adult learning sessions, and specifically mentions adults with fear. When I called, the woman who answered was very snippy. She immediately asked for my age, and when I told her, she said that through the end of the year they were only teaching kids "since they're the only ones who really need it". I understand being busy, but the rudeness was unnecessary. I don't know how the actual driving instruction is, but based on my one interaction with the woman on the phone, I will not be calling them again.
