She graduated from The Studio years ago but she remains in contact and visits with Brandon often when she's home. Glenn was my DJ. He usually only books entertainment l, however, I made the mistake of asking him…read moreto do it. I gave him a break down of all the kinds of music and even specific songs I wanted played. 2 pages detailing the entire day! I asked him to also DJ my ceremony which would require him to be there for the rehearsal which he agreed was no problem. I even offered to feed him! So the day of the rehearsal comes. I have been going all day setting up and decorating. I told him to be there at 5 as this was when the ceremony was going to be the next day. He shows up at 4(the one hour I had given myself to shower and get ready for MY rehearsal dinner) and requests that I go through everything with him right then. So of course, I walk him through everything because I really had no choice. Suddenly, this is all very overwhelming and "a lot to handle". (Again, I had explained all details AND wrote them down for him to follow..including an exact time line and the songs to go with it.) After our walk through, he left. I had to do my rehearsal to silence. On the day of, Glenn shows up on time and sets up as requested. However, once things got started, they only got worse. First off, he played a break up song. The ceremony music kept shutting off while we were all walking down the aisle because he was running some app on his phone hooked up to an amp. He kept having to hit play over and over. We were never "announced" and he never told everyone that dinner was served so everyone just sat and watched us taking our pictures. How very boring for them! The rest of the night, he played old 70s music and more sad songs. He even played country even though I specifically asked him not to. Come to find out, Glenn hasn't DJ'ed for several years and it showed. I had to eventually hook my phone up to his computer to play anything remotely new or at least wedding-related. I'm a huge music person and he completely ruined the atmosphere. I laugh about it now but it was not funny then. No one was dancing most of the night and he looked so confused the whole time. I would not suggest him or his services. If this is any indication of what kind of entertainment he hires and contracts out, I would not suggest Grand Band Entertain ment.
