They came out, looked at the vehicle, and told me they wouldn't replace the windshield because of rust on the metal under the top seal. I did not want to write a bad review , but people need to know not to waste they're time ! There's better people who do a honest job ! I asked for a small chip repair , IT LOOKS WORSE THAN IT WAS ! Some technicians have enough experience and the right equipment to do an amazing job as far as the way it ends up looking. Newer and less experienced technicians are only hoping to keep it from cracking out. Much of that will have to do with the kind of resin and Equipment they use to do the repair. From what I can see, he did not extract the air that was trapped in the glass before attempting to force resin into the damage. He just does not have the correct training and probably does not even realize it. Has not returned my messages !! Would love my money back , tried to message him privately but got ignored !!! We hired Mobile Auto Glass to install a cracked windshield on a 2018 Porsche Macan. We were quoted $700 for install and recalibration of all safety features. The installer assured us all of the safety features were indeed calibrated and they were not. All of the alarms on the car are activated and irritating. The rear view mirror fell off on my hand as well. All of my transponders were replaced and no longer work. We now have are looking at $1400 at the dealership in addition to the $700 installed windshield. Saved $50+ compared to the next lowest offer for a windshield replacement, and thoroughly explained what I should and shouldn't do after the replacement. Including indicating the adhesive would take about 24 hours to cure, don't drive fast, don't wash the car, don't leave the tape on for too long or else it might leave a sticky residue on your car, etc. At first, the repairman was going to come to me, but the drive was really far for them so I ended up going to the shop.
