Employee locked doors and then sat on his phone, we saw him in the back and he told us to leave.

This is my spot because it's right off the 15, the quality of gas is much better than Am Pm across the street, and they have a discount card. I haven't had any issues with the employees or people asking for money. Oh, I also always go inside to pay because I'm not trying to get scammed by the credit card machine at the pump. read more

Shorter lines due to their gas prices but very convenient. If I can't make it to Costco or Arco, this is usually my go to if coming from NFCU. Sometimes their machines don't accept card, which is a pain when you're in a hurry. I do notice that their gas does seem to last a bit longer in my car though. read more

Needed a fill up on the way home and this station was conveniently located in the same shopping center as Navy Fed and Pho Ca Dao. Mobile was only several cents more expensive then Arco across the street, which I didn't mind paying. This is where I usually come get my gas... but this time around my credit card got stuck in the machine. I asked the older white lady working inside to help me out and she said she released it from her machine. (I tried having a conversation with her but she was NOT in a good mood) I still couldn't pull my card out so I went back to inside to grab her to help me out. She came outside to help me out but my card got stuck once again. She told me to use the scanner instead with such attitude and just walked away. Super overpriced, but they snag people like me. You know those people, the people who constantly run low on gas thinking they can get to their usual station before running out of gas completely. Once you realize you can't, you're at the mercy of the closest gas station. AM-PM is across the street and cheaper, but it's cash or debit only. They never have change. This is my go to since AmPM has trash gas. I am tired of the 90% the time I come and Can't use cash. Plus every time I come I hate pan handlers sitting outside their door asking me for money all the time. Very unprofessional. Convenient enough gas station if traveling West on RB Road or South on Bernardo Ctr. Drive. Other than that, it would be kind of a pain in the butt to get to as the intersection is a little busy. Small convenience store inside but the service was a little slow (and I was the only one in there). The gas was $0.15 less than the place down the street. I won't name names, but it rhymes with Hevron. Other than that, a typical gas station. Definitely no WOW factor......go figure. read more

With this gas station I always have some sort of issues for some strange reason. I like that is very convenient for me, and is just one step away from my favorite library in San Diego and my Baron's grocery shopping...but many times (like today) I got 2 pumps not working and also I got error message from the machine not accepting my credit card when there was nothing wrong with it and they accept American Express. I tried again in another available pump and worked fine. It gets too crowded and you have to watch out when exiting as people tend to go too fast to go to get the 15 freeway. read more

I've only used this place for gas....never gone inside. But I can say that the prices are always awesome. I live in the area and can get gas for $.30+ less than in Carmel Valley. I'm most certainly a fan of this joint, even if the entrance is kind of a nightmare! read more

There is only so much you can write about a gas station, particularly if you never go inside because you just use your card. A couple things to note: 1) If you use your card, they don't ask for a pin number they ask for your zip code 2) The cost always looks slightly more expensive than the bustling AM/PM across the street, however, they charge a fee for using your card. This one doesn't, so it is actually just as cheap. 3) Getting in and out of the place when it is busy can be tricky... if you need to go left on either Rancho Bernardo or Bernardo Center, you're going to have to go down a couple of stop lights in order to make a U-turn. Nothing annoys me more then when they know people need to make U-turns, but they make you drive a few miles out of your way before you can legally make one. However, it is convenient if you are filling up before hopping on I-15. read more

I have only ONE time, seen anyone out there working. the only people who are Paying, are the taxpayers. WE are paying for our own inconvenience and lack of safety and your continued income. Conveniently located Mobil station near I-15 on Rancho Bernardo Road. Great prices on gas, typically $0.10 cheaper per gallon that other gas stations in the area. Small convenience store but really no need to buy anything here because Vons and CVS are nearby. Has at least 10 gas pumps so quite easy to get gas pronto. read more

The gas is cheaper at Costco and there are more snacks, drinks and better customer service across the street at ARCO. There's a middle aged white (sorry for my lack of neutral attributes) cashier who's a kind of bitter, always...he's try's to guilt you into stuffing change into the charity pot/personal tip jar. Went in to get gas one day and noticed the station had changed to Circle K/Mobil since I'd last been in. To my dismay, I was treated with absolute disrespect. I went inside to pay for gas and grab a soda. After I got my soda, I went to pay for gas but forgot my pump number. I showed the guy where my car was but he couldn't figure out the pump number. He got PO'd and proceeds to blurt out "I can't believe these customers come in here and don't know their pump number." This while there are a few people in line behind me. After he figured out the number, he said "go get your gas before I change my mind." I was thinking, is this guy related to the soup nazi from Seinfeld? Was this the "Gas Nazi?" Anyhoo, after I got my gas, I went back in to get my change and he had more to say. He gave me my change and said "you need to know your pump number when you come in because the new guys who work here don't know the pumps." Was that an apology? Anyhoo, soda there is currently .89 cents for any size cup and that's just about the only thing that keeps me going back. I don't know if the guy was the owner or manager but he needs to know that in that neighborhood, if he doesn't treat the customers well, they won't come back. Many retirees and families live there and won't put up with being treated like crap. The customer service skills need to be improved greatly. read more
