I picked this location due to its proximity to I-15. This was a great motorcycle meetup for us to continue our early journey to Joshua Tree. Gas prices are what you'd expect for San Diego nowadays. And not sure if bathrooms were available- thank goodness for Mc Donald's & Starbucks next door- just in case. Anyhow- we arrived by 6:40am and hubby reminded me with- "You're paying with cash right?" Oh yeah! I was! (That part!!) I walk in and say my " Good Morning!" tot he female employee cashier. She was super friendly and told me she's a brand new employee. We discussed the reviews I've read on Google, in regards to the car wash services. She advises customers come inside to pay for that instead of at the pump. That way she can explain more in depth the do's and don'ts of your car wash cycle. Since I didn't use this service- I won't review that. She was kind enough to let me use their clean bathroom (cashier has the key). Thank you!! And we got our change back from pumping our gas. It always seems to me like they don't really look at it (exp. date) because I've held mine up from a distance and they just give me the ok to pump away. Because of the rona, there was a sign on the window tonight when I went saying you can pump 24/7 but they are only checking I.D.s from 0900-1700. I must say I was a little hesitant about getting it done here because it looks a bit sketch but I was just looking for a basic wash to get rid of the road debris and dust buildup from the past couple quarantine weeks, so expectations weren't high. I pulled up and selected my wash from options ranging from $8-$10, plugged my card in and it shot out a receipt. The lights then instruct you to pull forward and stop and the wash moves around your car. The dry wasn't too bad although the side view mirrors don't get much love and still ended up with water spots but that's what you expect when there isn't a hand dry present anyway. Not a bad option if you want a basic, no frills exterior wash.
