I remember that this particular location was always great in customer service the people that worked here before a couple of years ago were great in communication and always were helpful in any questions I had including service to my needs (gas etc.). I always left this location with a smile on my face and since they have turned over in employing other individuals this place has gone down the tubes in service. This should be a standard that all retail establishments hold themselves accountable in good customer relations. This is evident in having a good customer experience that keep them loyal to your brand. But this company has a glaring lack of care of what I'm speaking to of consumers perception in positive feedback ultimately this will hurt their bottom line in the long run and I hope good customer service people that have proper etiquette in retail do not consider employment with this company. With inclement weather, I didn't get all the snow off of my rear window. I quickly hop out my car, to get it off and the older gentleman with glasses said "You couldn't fucking do that in your driveway". Taken back I didn't know how to respond, so I say have a nice day. I figure that I'll be an adult, and talk to the owner. I go and talk to the owner Bill and he quickly sides with his employee. After being a business owner for years, you would think he could listen before asking "Well why didn't you do it in your driveway". The point is, you talk to people with respect if they give you respect. With that said, I will not be giving them any more of my business. There's a ton of gas stations, I can go to for fuel and minor auto service. I'm sure if, I'm spoke to like this then there can be others. Every other employee, that I've encountered is pleasant but I guess there always one not so nice person in a work place.

Service is okay but sometimes the people aren't at the desk. The bathroom is a little gross but at least they have one. The water is pretty decent and I come here for cheap gas in the middle of the night whenever I drive through Albany pretty much.

Okay, so I had a nail in my tire overnight on Saturday and Sunday morning I found out about it. Not to mention it was raining. I walked over the the gas station on the corner of lark and Madison and talked to a very helpful clerk. She told me to have my car either towed right over or if I can drive very slowly. I drove very slowly and met a guy with blonde hair who was extremely helpful and fixed my tired in 5minutes. His charge for it was the best I ever had and I would extremely recommend his small shop to everyone who hates dealing with the hassle of big companies fucking you over. So I became a customer, if not buying gas, buying cigarettes and coffee early in the morning on the way to work. Sometimes minor repairs would be done by women working in the station. Rox took her car here all the time, for major and minor work, and loved them. Dunbrook Mobil does not have a staff, it's more like a cast. Through repeated visits, you get to know them, and the pleasant quirkiness of the business ameliorates the cost of gasoline a bit.
