Cold and snowy day... January 22, 2025…read more.. Southbound on the 91outside of White River Junction, VT... sensed a strong odor of antifreeze... pulled into a gas station... Yep... broken water pump and overheating... Mind you, this GMC 2018 Sierra (fully paid off)... has gotten me completely cross country back in October, 2024... with no issues, not even a scratch... Vehicle is towed to Bob's Service Center at 10 am that day... Not Bob, but Josh... "Let's see, water pump, coolant and belt tensioner assembly need replacing... it'll be ready by two..." Josh was right on schedule... Professional, thorough, and kind... Picked up the vehicle... warranted work for 2 years/24,000 miles... back on the freeway I went... only a few hours delay... but no matter... the vehicle must be reliable... It was... Coldest day in White River Junction... This driver and owner will seek these gentlemen out for future auto repairs... they are simply the best... And kind... They explained everything... I do appreciate the thoughtful and thorough approach... A cold day driving with a vehicle failure... could have been made much more difficult... but it was not... it was a beautiful day... The wash is especially good when the attendant does the pre-wash procedure with spraying and hand brush. So much so that I only go during business hours even though they are open 24 hours. I tip the attendant and I'm very pleased with the service. But more and more the attendant isn't present during business hours. Yet the cost of the wash is the same and the results are (slightly) inferior. I'm guessing that this is partly due to staffing issues but overall I tend not to wash the car when no attendant is present. I'm glad the company pays attention and responds to the Yelp reviews and would appreciate a response.

Driving home I noticed my hand was stained blue. Washing with soap and dish detergent did nothing. I called the place and the owner said to use certain kinds of cleaner. Of course we didn't have any so I had to go out and find it. The first place had only contractor sized containers, so I drove on to Aubuchon who did have a regular size bottle of the orange cleaner. After several scrubbings its mostly off. The owner apologized but offered no refund or free future clean for my troubles. Not a pleasant car cleaning experience. Next time I'll go to Extreme Clean.
