Yes, you read that right. Pull up here and someone will come out and help pump gas into your car. There is no minimum and no obligation, just simply a credit card and a smile. At first I thought it was a shady ploy at a cash grab and go, but I got over it quickly and felt like I was no longer in NYC. Gas prices are already incredibly pricey throughout the tri-state and so this isn't exactly a deal friendly spot. However, it is pretty nice not having to exit the car when the weather isn't so ideal. It's rarely so busy that I can't get a pump or someone to help but I've been quite fortunate to enjoy quality service every time. And of course, if you feel like it, drop a dollar to the attendant. It might not fly out west, but it's always appreciated in NY.

The answer: None. They have enough space to afford several cards to line up without issue. It's not the best wash I've seen, but it definitely does the job. * The deals - Nothing in NY is considered cheap, but there are some days where they've even surprised me over the full service gas station that is just down the street. Pay in cash and it will always be the lowest price. * Availability - I've seen other gas station slammed with people, but they always seem to have pumps open. Whenever one needs to get gas and in a hurry, this has actually been more of a clutch than it. The onsite convenience store is a pretty subpar alternative to the many bodegas around the neighborhood. The only advantage is that this place is open 24/7, which can never be seen as a bad thing.

I paid $5 for 8 minutes (you can add more $1 per minute) but since this was my first time I put $7 since I wasn't sure how much time I was going to need. There is a knob where you put what you want soap, water, wax. I'm no car wash expert so I inly use the soap and water functions. I have to say that the 8 minutes they give you it's plenty of time to wash your car. I will be coming back since there is something I really like about washing my own car and you can't beat $5. I also got to use the vacuum machine for $1.50 It was pretty much a regular vacuum, nothing special. I feel that the vacuum cleaners at Mobil stations are stronger than other gas stations.

John is in charge, but all three guys have been willing to discuss options for repairs, have been up front about costs, and have been willing to explain any question I've had. Every time I get a repair done here I usually check around with coworkers to see what they've paid for similar services and I've been surprised to find that this place has consistently charged me less than what most people expect. I'm going to say that they're an straightforward business, at least as far as car mechanics go. I will say however that I've seen other customers act rudely and I've gotten the definite impression that acting rudely will get you a bigger bill and a disappointing experience. I'm not a car person, but this place is not super pushy, will get your car repaired in a timely manner, and will call you to get you updates on progress. I like it. It's also close to the 7 train, so pickup and drop off are pretty easy. I usually come for service, not for gas so I can't speak to pricing. All that said, cars are expensive and repairs are worse. You're never going to walk out of a repair shop happy.

The cashier gave me the wrong change so I said can I have the right amount back. This tall white guy says to me, "sweetie get on the back of the line!" I wasn't upset at the fact he said go to the back of the line when it wasn't my fault, but he called me sweetie. I said to him, "I'm not a sweetie and NO, I want my money back." He said "get to the back." The cashier probably didn't want to deal with it so he gave me my money and I left. I really wanted to go to the dude and give him a piece of my mind.
