After my terrible experience at the Mobil across the street, I thought I'd stop at Plaza Shell this time, as I didn't feel like traveling further into the center of Milford, and this gas station had pretty good prices (alright, it's a little more than the Mobil) and accepts Stop&Shop Gas Points. Plus, it's full serve, and you don't get the stink eye, like at the Mobil station across the street. While there is not an official store, like the Mobil, I'd prefer making an extra stop just so I don't need to deal with those clowns. Plus they do have a small store inside with drinks, cigarettes, and even some candy. Friendly employees, and this station is always less busy than the other too! They should never force you into giving them any bank card information like PIN number or zip code. This is the second gas station run this way I've encountered in Milford this month. I've spoken with my bank as well as other gas stations in the area, this is NOT normal and should be considered a red flag for fraud. I drove to the Sunoco next to them and had no issue.

The store is new and has been in business for about 3 months now. The store manager was kind enough to inform me how to place orders on their standing kiosk. (They do not take orders at the counter and want customers to place orders on the standing kiosk system that is standing to the right side of the counter.) Lots of swiping and up selling when placing the order. I just wanted a chicken parm and a Italian sausage sub. After placing the order the kiosk prompted if I would like to make it a combo meal? "No Thank you" Then I was prompted with another pop up asking if I would like to add a soda to the order "No Thank you" Then I was prompted if I would like to add Chips to the order "Thank you all set" I would have thought that after these up sell prompts would be enough....but no...one more prompt of snacks that I would buy along with the sandwiches. "NO THANK YOU...." Holy Crap.... I was the only one in the store so I would have thought this would be quick and fast....Somehow it still took 18 minutes to get my 2 sandwiches.....I guess even though there were a total of three people on staff along with the manager, the in depth conversation of how their night went. Upon finally getting my order I have another question...Where is the sandwich?!?!?! It was mostly bread and for $20.00 this was totally not worth the wait or the money. My recommendation. This was all because I asked for a coffee past 3pm and asked why he can't just give a mocha freeze because it is ready in the machine. I even asked politely. He then made me leave the property when I was drinking my bottled tea outside the building. I asked for his name and he refused and threatened to call the cops. I don't think I am ever going to go to a Cumberlands again. I think it is all because I am trans, which made me deeply offended. I still can't believe this happened, it doesn't seem real.
