The place is family owned. They always nice n do as much as they can to help. One time about 9-10 years ago, i was having a really bad day. Like when i realized that the computers were down n all they had was cash only I literally just started crying cuz i was gonna loose my job if I didn't make it to work that day. Car on empty n I hadn't eaten in days. The gentleman gave me an iou n told me to fill the tank completely n gave coffee n a sandwich. I was blessed! Like holy crap! My first 4 years after i moved out of Puerto Rico were hell. Nobody cared about me, nobody would help me. The government assisted living money n my crappy paycheck weren't enough for groceries n paying my bills. He just took a chance with me. I came right back after work, with my crumbled paper slip hand written in his handwriting. I had to beg him to take the money back. He wouldn't. It was so heartfelt n i always do business there even if they don't recognize me sense im Woman now. I get those fun "u look familiar" looks but i never say anything. Nostalgia filter taken off; I still go here n will always be a loyal costumer to them when im in the area. I do miss the calendars he used to gift me at the end of the year. I loved them n still have one in one of my storage boxes. The place looks just like it did back then. It's a 7 eleven just like the majority. has hard working folks in it. U got your strong coffee n snack heaven options. Like they are the only ones that sell those freaking delicious croissants stuffed with cream! U gotta hunt them down in one of the isles. The cream will run down your face all the waaaay down your pants to your shoes lol I can tell the bad reviews are cuz people have gotten used to the drones in the fancier gas stations with lattes n water down coffee's. Their sandwiches are good not great, their prices are hit n miss but so are every other gas stations. I never had any issues with them in the past nor in my new future. I go in, get snacks n get out. It was 9am on a Sunday morning so I decided to go inside to pickup a few items After my gasoline purchase. Place was littered and cluttered. But my real dissatisfaction was with two cashiers. One kept speaking Spanish to me and clearly did not understand American English Very well,,,,kept telling me to enter my phone number but could not tell me why it was needed for a purchase. The second employee same thing. They kept telling be to enter my phone number and then my pin. It's a credit card . I do not have to give a phone number or a PIN number when it's a credit card,,,, all a mess because one employee does not speak or know English very well and the other could not be bothered to explain any of my questions. Making this long story short. Very frustrating and I will never go to this circle K EVER AGAIN!! Employees are very unprofessional and lack of customer service skills and very very poor at communicating. But they sure understood the English slang in English!!!
