This year, they said they could make it in 15 minutes, so I waited. While it doesn't look just like the photo, it looks good. They spelled her name correctly, and he was very apologetic. All I can say is, if you order a cake from here, make sure you show up very early to pick it up because there's a good chance it won't be ready.

They did an amazing job with the renovation. But what really impressed me was the customer service. I stopped by early this morning, still half asleep, just to buy a box of Band-Aids -- honestly, it was almost an excuse to finally check out the renovated store. I used the self-checkout and didn't even realize that I had accidentally scanned the same box twice. The employee who was simply there watching the self-checkout area and helping customers noticed it on her own. I didn't complain or even realize there was a problem. She kindly approached me, explained that I had been charged twice, and immediately told me how I could get a refund. For convenience, I actually decided to just grab another box of Band-Aids instead of getting the refund. But what stayed with me was the fact that she noticed and cared enough to say something. I could have bought Band-Aids somewhere else more conveniently, but I came here because I wanted to see the renovated store -- and I'm glad I did. The store is beautiful, but the level of service made the experience even better. I honestly don't understand why this location doesn't have a higher rating. Based on my experience today, it absolutely deserves one. Highly recommend stopping by and checking out the newly renovated store!

I genuinely try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt because I understand that mistakes…read morehappen. But my experience at this Publix location on Saturday, September 12th, was disappointing enough that I feel it deserves to be addressed. A group of us stopped at Publix before a road trip. We were not shopping as a group--we made separate purchases, checked out separately, and left the store at different times within roughly a 30-minute window. Shortly after one of the young ladies in our group left, another came out visibly confused and explained that the self-checkout attendant had accused her of stealing an item/items. Let's pause there. She had PAID for her items. Rather than simply accepting the accusation, she went back inside with her receipt to address it. Someone in our group even offered to pay for the items that were supposedly stolen. Once she presented her receipt, however, it became clear that there was no theft. She then had to go to Customer Service to process a refund. That entire interaction was unnecessary and, quite frankly, humiliating. Mistakes happen. But there is a significant difference between asking a customer to clarify a transaction and making them feel as though they have been caught stealing. The young lady should not have had to walk back into the store and produce a receipt to prove her innocence after already paying for her merchandise. I immediately called the store while everything was taking place and spoke with Christina, who I believe was the bakery manager. She listened to my concerns and said she would pass the information along to another manager. I called back around 6 PM to follow up. The manager I spoke with said she had a note on her desk regarding the situation but had been busy and hadn't had an opportunity to address it. I was told I could expect a call within 24 hours from a store manager or someone above her to discuss what happened and provide some type of reconciliation. That call never came. Instead, during our conversation, I was told that the employee would receive "coaching." And that's where I was left thinking: Is that really the resolution? An employee allegedly makes an incorrect accusation against a customer. The customer is embarrassed enough to have to return to the store and prove she paid. Management is contacted twice. A follow-up is promised. And the resolution is essentially, "We'll coach the employee." Coaching the employee may be appropriate internally, but that is not customer resolution. What I expected was accountability, empathy, and a genuine acknowledgment of the impact of what happened--not simply an explanation of what would happen to the employee. Publix has built a reputation around customer service, which is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. If a customer is going to be accused of stealing, there needs to be a level of care and certainty before that accusation is made. Because when you're wrong, "I'm sorry" and "we'll coach them" are not necessarily the same thing as making the customer feel respected. I hope Publix leadership reviews this situation beyond simply coaching the employee. The bigger issue here is how customers are treated when an employee gets it wrong--and what happens afterward. Publix, you can do better.

He still has a hand car wash/detail that he is calling Prestige Vehicle Spa. There is no sign up right now, so it looks like it is closed or no longer in service! It is definitely in service. I had a road trip to Fort Myers and my vehicle was covered in love bugs. I took my car to an automatic car wash and it barely removed any of the bugs. I asked him if he thought he could remove the love bugs or if I would need to have someone pressure wash my vehicle. He said, no, he could do it. He did a fabulous job! I would highly recommend you visit him and use his services. He is personable, reasonable and they have great customer service!
