Ordered 2 personal pizzas through the ap to pick up at 1255am. That was confirmed time. I am autistic and standing and waiting is not what I am good at. My order was #69. I hear pizza for #74 and its now 1:08am. Employee asks what I am waiting for. Said #69 it said to pick up at 1255. Dani another Employee who was just the worst says things are delayed. Like I should know cause mobile ap said my food ready at 1255am. I got my luke warm pizzas at 120am. 25 minutes after my time the ap said. They sucked. I coulda went and bought a frozen pizza and cooked it in less time than the time between my pick up and when I got those sad pizzas. Also Dani is a terrible employee. Don't yell or be condescending to people watching orders getting pizza after their number. You are trash. This is a trash location. So on my most recent trip I was disappointed once again with the customer service when getting some food. This is the second location I have experienced the same problem at. When I first started ordering food from Wawa I used the app and went inside and paid and waited for my number to be called. I had no issues for a long time. Now for the second time because I ordered in the app I was forgotten. I'm not sure when Wawa decided to stop calling numbers on mobile orders but it's now an issue for me. On this visit I placed my order, paid and was waiting with over a dozen other people well before my order should have been ready. Every order had their number called except one and that ended up being mine. Because of this I got my sandwich over 5 minutes late and it was sitting off to the side much longer. I was standing there when she set it out of the way and she went on to call the numbers of several other orders. Finally a gentleman came out to assist and asked if numbers had been called on a couple orders waiting for pickup. She said she called them. When he started calling them he grabbed mine and called it as well. I'm not happy with this new way of doing things Plus when I originally went to place my order it would not let me add something was unavailable on it. It gave me no clue what that might be so I ordered a different sandwich. I got their version of a Cuban sandwich. It comes with ham and shredded pork with mustard, pickles, tomato and lettuce. Not quite as clean as the Wawas I recall from my days as a Floridian, but good enough. It didn't smell in the bathroom. There were only 2 stalls though which seems crazy since there isn't a lot as far as spots for potty breaks on the road. There is plenty of food and drink selection, and a self checkout which made my life WAY easier. read more

This particular location of Wawa is just off of Interstate 4 in Davenport, Florida. I stopped in here primarily for a phone charger for my car, but while I was here I grabbed a few of their great diet Half & Half iced tea lemonades. Being from the Northeast, I've always been a big fan of Wawa. What is not to love? In addition to having a clean gas station with competitively-priced gas, they also have an inside that has pretty much anything you can ask for. We also cannot forget their subs. This is far superior to most gas station food. Their subs are truly good. I would also recommend looking out for their hoagiefest, which they have at least once a year when they offer their subs at a discounted rate. Service here was friendly, though it was pretty busy. This could be because traffic on Interstate 4 was at a crawl and people just wanted a diversion to try and wait out whatever calamity caused the slowdown. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular Wawa location. read more

I will never understand how this happened, parked at pump 2 & then pump 12, the first time I parked at 2, I walked to the cashier in the store front & paid 30$. It didn't work. No big deal. Went back and asked to move the amount to pump 12. Walked back to the pump NOT WORKING once again. This happened 2 times. Allowing other people to use those pumps is a waste of their time. There was no management on site. They told me I would then have to go 3 times the amount I wanted to pay. Leaving me 60$ charge to my card until my bank accepts the refund. They sold expired yogurt, looked over a few of their other dairy products. I'm assuming, they don't have enough workers to cover their basic job duties. Since I am a secret shopper, I will be looking forward to this location next November. As you walked in the floor had pieces of trash everywhere, then I went to the men's room to use the bathroom and it was filthy dirty, one sink had no running water, then there was no hand soap for any of the bathrooms. Then when I went to get our cups of coffee I noticed that there were six registers but only one of them was open and there were 11 people waiting in line. I definitely would if you're in the Haines City area looking for a gas station look to avoid this Wawa gas station unless this is the last resort or unless you just have to get gas. If you're going inside expect long waits and make sure you bring hand soap for the bathrooms. read more

We made a quick stop in to this Wawa to grab a couple of waters and refill on gas before heading on our way. They have lots of gas pumps so it's pretty easy to find one that was open. The parking lot had a decent number of parking spots if you just wanted to go inside and weren't gassing up. Inside it was extremely clean and well-kept. It was also well stocked with a lot of different items that would make anyone happy. We grabbed a couple of waters and the checkout was fast. As with most Wawa's the parking lot is a little bit chaotic with all the people coming in and going out. Be sure to be on guard so that you can see traffic coming from all angles. It would be pretty difficult to get into this Wawa if you're coming from the opposite direction from the interstate. Turning left out of here is also going to be pretty difficult. Gas here is relatively cheap, and its conveniently right off of the freeway. This Wawa has what you need. We ordered iced coffee for free coffee Tuesday so I can't complain since the coffee is free, but the service is slow. It took 10 minutes to make two iced coffees. There were a lot of people in there, so a good amount of foot traffic. The place was clean for the most part but there was some trash on the floor. read more

So much cleaner, nicer, friendlier and more welcoming than any other gas station/quickie mart place I've ever been! Seriously, the inside was spotless. There weren't any crackheads hanging around. There's food a person would actually want to eat. The cashier was super pleasant. Man! It never fails. When I make sure to check in when I come to a Wawa, (my fav, go to gas station) to show some Yelp love, I end up getting the worst of the worst in customer service. Thank goodness this type of behavior isn't tolerated or the norm in this gas station chain, because they were no longer have me as a customer.The employee, Kayla, that checked me out, she was EXTREMELY rude to say the least. I simply asked for a Wawa card (Small red card That is supposed to be located at the registers for savings) This employee, Kayla..... she wasn't even going to bother leaving an inch behind the register to go look for any, even though they are always at the front, always by the registers. They were not and she was not willing to do this without a push. She even went so far as to ask me if I still wanted to purchase the merchandise, since I couldn't get the savings aka stop looking at her like she should be doing her job and helping the customer with anything that resembled good customer service. She continued with this type of behavior, absolutely not acceptable, not only for just in general in public, but for somebody who's getting paid to quite literally service the customer. I'm super excited that this Wawa finally opened up! They began construction on it some time ago, but Hurricane Irma appeared to delay the opening. Prior to the opening of this Wawa there were 2 small gas stations on this side of the road and a large Race Trac. Race Trac was the only place to find clean restrooms and a decent variety of snacks and beverages. Now, enter Wawa to give us even greater options. I love that Wawa has fresh made to order sandwiches and milkshakes. I also love that Wawa has freestyle machines. I don't drink much in the way of carbonated beverages so the freestyle offers me a wide range of minute maid beverages such as strawberry lemonade and cherry limeade. During their opening weeks Wawa handed out free snacks, offered free coffees and 59 cent freestyles. It was too good to last (I think it was for the first 10 days of opening). Coffees and freestyles are now $1 which is still a bargain. There is ample parking both in front and back of the store and there is a ATM inside with no fees which is pretty cool. They have had some issues since opening, but hopefully these are kinks that can be worked out once the newness wears off. E.g. Both freestyles were down the other day, though to be fair the employee offered me any beverage from the cooler for $1 instead. There have been some crazy lines. Though again to be fair an employee gave me my freestyle for free for waiting. The bathroom was in rough shape the other day and they ran out of hot chocolate the other day when the temperature dropped outside. I can't really penalize them for that though because their customer service has been great and they have really gone above and beyond to correct any issues. read more

I love Wawa and was so thrilled to check out the newest location on 27!! Overall I was pleased with my experience (not surprising because Wawa is amazing!!) The interior was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered my sandwich, paid, and my sandwich was ready pretty much immediately. The sandwich bread was cut a little wonky which caused the toppings to fall out a bit, but it was still delicious. The only negative is the exit. It seems more like a design flaw and I'm not sure there is a whole lot they can do about it now, but getting out is so dangerous!! Between people exiting Chic-Fil-A and others flying in from 27, I foresee many accidents in this area. I'll definitely be back for more Wawa subs in the future!! read more

Wawa is simply the best! I don't know if it's because it's not local to me yet or if it really is that amazing but every time I have gone (yes it is usually this location) I am blown away. And this coming from a guy who grew up North with Sheetz and was enthralled by them. Trust me, while good, they do not hold a candle to Wawa. Hoagiefest is the best! $3, $4 and $5 Hoagies make for an nice lunch and at this location, FAST! I ordered 2 Hoagies and an Iced Chai that we're finished and ready within a minute or so of me paying. And this was just before Noon. I can't complain about that. I am a big fan of Wawa's Tuna. The Tuna Club is a favorite which comes with bacon but the Tuna in general is just good compared to other sandwich spots. Cough* Cough*...Subway... Classic. I'm from Maine, I always try to hit up the local Wawa when I come to Florida.

Wawa is completely killing their reputation by moving to the south. These Florida locations are complete trash compared to the northeast locations. The place was filthy. I ordered a hoagie and waited for about 15 minutes before seeing a box in the pickup window with my number on it. When I opened the box I found some type of panini that wasn't even close to my order. When I asked for them to fix it, the employee told me another customer must have taken my order...even though it was obvious that they had screwed up. By this point I am not surprised. This area of Florida is filled with below average food and incompetent management. After making me the correct sandwich, it was not great. Definitely not what you would get in the locations up north. Also witnessed another customer calling out the "barista" for completely short pouring his frozen drink. I watched the employee fill it barely halfway and then try to hide it with whipped cream. I think they need an active manager to make sure the workers are actually trying. Then as I finally get back to my car, a scary dude came out of nowhere and started following me back to my car...i think he was asking people for money, but it was even shadier than usual. There's cops all up and down that road. You should be worried about the safety of your customers and staff. Theres no excuse for allowing people like that to hang around, especially late at night. read more
