My total bill was +$50 and receipt showed $35...so obviously incorrect. I have heard similar complaints but just thought a customer had one bad experience. I'm a regular customer and had other lesser issues in the past and now know this place will cheat you at any opportunity. Will not return.

You cannot be in a rush. For some reason the pay at the pump experience is absolutely AWFUL! It's the slowest payment processing system I've ever seen. And it wasn't just once or twice...it's all the time. I live close by so I go there out of convenience. However, if I'm able, I go elsewhere because it takes much too long to process a debit or credit card at these pumps. It's downright frustrating.

Our insurance company suggested the car be towed to Pep Boys in Elgin and I was SO skeptical, but also it was a Saturday night at 10pm and I saw Pep Boys were open on Sunday with a 9am open appointment (which we took) These mechanics were amazing!! Two new tires, ball joints, sway bars, suspension, and alignment DONE in 5 hours on a SUNDAY for $890!! The price was fair, the service was awesome and Tony literally called 6 times in 5 hours to check in and make sure everything was approved and took the time to explain in laymen's terms what was happening!
