The inside of the store smells disgusting from the food vendor. Cluttered and dirty inside and out.

Pump was defective. Employee was rude and thought I had a fake 5$ bill after he gave it to me 3 mins prior

CEFCO is definitely a brand I'm not familiar with named after the founder C.E Fikes who started out…read morein 1952 with one line Texaco Station in Cameron, Texas they now operate over 200 stores in (4) states (Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida) I'm guessing for now in western Florida only since as of this time there aren't any in my hometown on the east coast of Florida for now at least. I'm not really brand loyal but I do normally frequent newer C-Stores when it comes to pumping gas. Today 87 octane was $2.899 per gallon I pulled in to fuel the Subaru out of curiosity more than anything. I was surprised to find a number of the pumps displayed the famous yellow "out of order" bags over the pumps and the rest had customers either pumping fuel or inside the store so I had to circle the fuel islands several times to get a pump (not the best first experience). Well one finally freed up and I filled up, everything worked fine including the receipt dispenser and the place looked well maintained- I did visit the restroom and it was clean as they stated on their website so they seem to deliver on that promise so except for playing musical chairs at the gas pumps all appears to be okay...

Employee was nice. Food selection good. This is a BUSY Love's. That's saying something!…read more Very busy. Bathroom was "meh." I had to wait in line twice to use it. After the first time, I brushed my teeth because I was tired of waiting and I figured a stall would get open after I brushed my teeth. Nope. Stalls emptied and refilled! Had to wait a second time. This Love's doesn't seem as clean as other ones. Maybe it's getting older. And it's also super busy which doesn't help maintain a property's cleanliness. DOG PARK: Be sure to choose a side. Big dog or little dog and close your dog in the one side. I didn't and just closed the outer doors. I turned around to pick up my dog's leashes and they had opened the main gate and gotten out !!! Thankfully they came right back. But it scared me.

I wasn't sure where to go and I remembered that phrase people like to post in their houses in the wall as a reminder: "Live, Laugh, Love's" If you're saying to yourself "it's LOVE, not LOVES" you're not wrong, but it's fitting so here we are. So there I was; Lo and behold, I happen upon Love's Travel Shop. I stopped, slammed gas and got hopped up on Mountain Dew. Suddenly I can see clearly Now the grime was wiped. I purchased some stickers and kept it moving onto the next few hours of driving. I'm thankful for the staff and had a good experience here. I stepped into the adjacent McDonalds and ate a burger. I consumed caffeine and protein and kept in keeping on.
