The store itself is a nice size and there is a market area with food and then another shop part where you can get other baked goods and take home meals (including Mac and cheese and pasta)! The staff are friendly and willing to answer questions despite being so busy, but I do recommend studying the menu and options so you don't hold up the line. Regarding the food- come hungry! There are so many good options you definitely want to be try many things. I had the Mac and cheese, maple bbq pulled pork, the chili and a sandwich. I recommend the chili and the traffic jam sandwich! You really can't go wrong. There are a lot of good options and everything tastes really good and homemade.

The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

This was an ideal stop on the way home from Vermont to Maine! My wife and I love to check out…read morecoffee spots when we are traveling and seeing small bits about this place made me know it was a must stop. Just imagine a book store meets a coffee shop that also has delicious looking sweet treats (chai donuts was what caught my eye). Telling my wife those little bits about it made her eyes light up with excitement! We showed up and thankfully the major rush already passed and snagged a parking spot. Be mindful it is a small place with minimal parking. We walked inside and looked all around, my wife jumped to the books to browse (pictures of those can be seen on the Antidote Books listing). She did have lots of time to browse, because they only had one barista taking orders then also making them. This would be the only negative I would have to say of this place, I felt bad that it seemed the worker had too much to do. It resulted in quite a wait and I could see them losing some business during rushes from this. I know the space is small but having someone take orders and one making drinks could help. Despite this I still feel they deserve five stars! I got their Golden Sun Milk Iced Latte and my wife got their Iced Matcha Latte. Both were very tasty, expertly made for sure. Also we were lucky enough to get the very last chai donut, and it had a rose frosting. It tasted like gingerbread because the chai spices, wish we could have had more than one. A spot we would definitely return to and try more drinks and bites! No books that we wanted to buy but glad to have found a combo coffee shop/book store. Stop here and give it a try!
