It's because everybody in the shop was not wearing face masks. Not a care in the world wether they spread their lung droplets all over the enclosed area. This place is disgusting. No care for the people who are at high risk for Covid. No thank you. Will probably never return. Hopefully I didn't get infected by someone who's Asymptomatic. The station is well lit and the clerk working this evening was friendly, offering to help an older man with his Mapco membership card to ensure he gets his discounts. No trash, inside or out. Fuel pumps work well and they have a more than decent selection of drinks and snacks including beer.

It's a pretty big island too that it is on. I thought it was very impressive. Of course they have gas, lottery tickets and "cokes" you can buy. Now, "cokes" is a southern draw talk if you would for anything that is a carbonated drink that you can buy to quench your thirst for caffeine buzz. So we had traveled from home without any problems or issues with our truck! 2008 Toyota Tundra. We go to Knoxville to the Tennessee,Alabama game and we watched the Volunteers win the game! Next day we go check out the fall foliage up and back on Cherohala parkway! On the way back to the Cozy Mountain cabin a warning comes on and the truck was over heating! I opened the hood of the truck to discover that the radiator had a split in the upper tank and coolant was spewing out! We were quite a few miles from the cabin! We luckily we had a cooler that had water and ice in it. Poured the water via a yeti cup into the radiator. Well that got us a few miles down the road! But it ran out of water so again lucky we pulled over next to the Tellico lack and filled the busted radiator with lake water here again it got us on down the road! But again it the water steamed out . We are now stopped church parking lot but we were out of water! Blessed as we were we found an open Spicket on the church in which we filled up our cooler and poured it in the radiator! This was divine intervention! As we were able to get the truck all the way back to the cabin! So we call to shops in Vonore One said the he was booked till Monday! So last call was to Chad at Vic's I had purchased the radiator and coolant ! Chad gave us a great price on the radiator replacement! He and Chris had us back on the road before 12:00 pm! We were so impressed by Chad and Chris with courtesy and speedy service never seen nothing like it my life and I've been in the automotive industry for a long time! Thanks Chad and Chris! It's easy to forget about this business. It is the only business on this road after you pass the bridge. What's popular here is the lottery. Yes, you see lots of winners as they tape the past winners of scratch offs around the cashiers counter. I had several people tell me that they have been luckier buying them here. Whether it's true or not, well, we have to wait and see. They also sell gas here and soft drinks. I have always been checked out fast when I come here.
